Everyone should watch this movie. There was no better way, in my opinion, to depict a first love or the value of friendship. I've seen a lot of dramas and love stories, but I believe "20th century girl" captures the innocence of first love the best. A little portion of the reason why the movie is so amazing is the method by which the viewer comes to understand Bora and her character throughout the film. One of the clearest and most genuine portrayals of character development I have seen in a while is hers. Overall, every character is written so genuinely that one can comprehend their decisions and ideas, not just hers.Was this review helpful to you?
Drowning Love
The story does a fantastic job of framing the game of pushing and pulling that follows Natsume's run-in with Koh. This game still has a lighthearted element, but it also subtly reveals that it is harmful because it involves playing with people's emotions. In addition to the humor, the story excels at capturing the childishness, possessiveness, and insecurity that falling in love results in. Note that Natsume requires Koh's presence. Although the first half of the story is obviously somewhat exaggerated.Was this review helpful to you?
