Just finished watching this, it was as you said best at 12 episodes. However, it was a breath of fresh air compared…
I dont know who added comedy. There is no comedy. The only comedy relief you might fight are the bad jokes of the female lead’s best friend and business partner. But her friend does not appear for entire episodes so I would not tag Rabam Mek with comedy, makes no sense.

About the female lead, she is not weak per say. More like unloved or so she thinks. She has been badly neglected since a child and that affected her. But she has her own business, she does not let other people tell her what to do (aside from her father) and even the male lead meets her anger once she finds out he is hiding something from her. I would say a few more things that prove she is not that weak but they would be huge spoilers so I will just say: trust me, give it a try.

Don’t trust the tags. The best way to know if a drama is worth watching is going through the comments and see what people are saying. If you see a lot of constructive comments explaining why it is bad or good, then you are likely to feel the same way about it. The comments can also reveal things about the drama that can be a deciding factor for you. For example, I tend to stay away from most dramas in which the male lead rapes the female lead or one of them is not faithful. That is something that I cannot find out from the tags cause just because it has a rape or infidelity tag it does not mean it has to do with the main leads. It could be about the supporting characters.

I love this lakorn, I don’t understand how anyone can not love it and yeah I guess those villagers harassed…
Ok, so now that you finished watching. What did you think of what the male lead did to the female lead? Everyone knew it was her and he was in denial, but then proceeded to try and prove he is right and everyone else is wrong and failed miserably.

Also, I do not know what the writers were thinking when they made the male lead be under a spell and go around having sex everywhere with the delusional second female lead. They pushed the boundaries of what viewers can accept. I was not ok with that. That was pretty much reverse rape. I already saw the male lead as a little of a pushover and not the brightest person and the writers pushed it even further by not giving him any dignity.

And the ending instead of tragic felt more like the writers just did not want the main leads to be together at any cost. It was not a good ride and all that to reach that kind of ending. I felt like I had wasted my time watching this. The cast is good and I have seen both main actors in other dramas and they deserved a better script.

But like you said, everyone has their own opinion. That is the beauty of free will. Sadly, even that was taken from the male lead.
I am sure you can tell I am pretty mad at what the writers did with the male lead. Poor guy.

Yeah. That is why I only gave this a 6.5. As much as I liked the main leads relationship, the rest was a mess. I could not give this a high rating with this kind of script.

Btw, I just finished watching Rabam Mek. It has been a while since a thai drama was able to keep me second guessing stuff. They are usually so predictable. So you might want to give it a try if you havent yet. The romance was ok, nothing amazing, but the characters were all very mysterious. For most of the drama you cannot even tell who are the bad guys and who are the good guys.

If there is something about this one that stands out compared to most thai dramas is that it did a pretty good job at making you sure of nothing. Who are the villains and who are the good guys? Who killed Nulek’s mother? Who truly loves her and who is only using her as a tool?

Even if I had my hunches early on and was right about most of them, throughout the drama I was never 100% sure until the end. I kept guessing things right but they were just that, guesses. XD

Also, usually I dont care much for the supporting characters, but here I could not be indifferent to them and there is one couple that really made me feel bad for them. I am sure you will know who I am talking about once you finish it. T T

I think the writing here is better than your average thai drama. The acting was also pretty good. Not all of them were amazing but some did a pretty good job at portraying their characters. I dont think I would re-watch this kind of drama but it is definitely a good one time watch.

It is an open ending or more like there should be another episode right after. So no, they are not together at the "end".
This really needs more episodes or I will feel like it was just a waste of time to watch it.

I am not saying he does not love her. The way the script was written just did a bad job at convincing me of that compared to other thai dramas.

And the villagers were going after her way before she even had done something. The first time she killed someone was legit their fault. They forced her into doing it. It was self-defense. Had she not done it, she would have been raped.

Overall this drama was not a good experience to me.

You said you havent finished it yet, let me tell you...the male lead gets even more stupid and the ending is something, and that is all I can say or I would spoil it for you. lol

it's based on another show and is ostensibly about revenge...unless you can't stomach the premise at all but what…
I can stomach dramas with cheating when the plot is amazing and the person that is cheated on is not like "aww, you cheated on me?, that hurts, but I love you so much that I will just pretend nothing happened". From what I read about this drama, the wife is like doing nothing about it, unless it is the calm before the storm.

But what really bothered me about the synopsis is that they used the word love to refer to someone who is cheating on his wife. They could have said he does not want to lose her, that would be more accurate. There are many reasons why you would not want to lose someone or something, even if there is no love involved. There are a lot of people who dont want to divorce for reasons like they are used to being around each other, there are small children involved, worried about losing their reputation, having to divide assets and pay alimony, so whoever wrote the synopsis did not have to add the expression loves his wife. It is very contradictory when after that sentence you imply he is having an affair.

He would have gotten a slap and divorce from me for that. He really has some nerve acting like he has dignity.…
I would not have married him in the first place. And if the wedding really had to happen, then I would make sure he would not come near me until I knew for a fact that those messages were from some jealous ex or something and that he is actually faithful. And if I found out about his cheating ways, which honestly would be easy to do since he is not even trying that hard to conceal it, then I would make him taste his own poison and give him no respect unless he gave me a divorce and monetary compensation for having to spend even a minute of my time with him.

yes its true, there's no kissing scene clause in her contract. but i think she will do a kiss scene in this lakorn,…
I think she does kiss here since the actor playing the male lead is her boyfriend. But it is like a peck, nothing special. But again, a lot of thai dramas, I am looking at you CH3, have no kisses or just like camera angles making it seem like they are kissing when they are not even touching lips. So unless kissing is a requirement for you, dont let that stop you from giving this a try. It is pretty funny. Probably too long tho and it lacked a lot of logic at times, but funny. lol

I am sorry but the synopsis is off on one small detail. "he loves his wife". Yeah, nope. He might like her, he might be used to her, but if he is cheating, he does not love her. People tend to confuse passion, familiarity, responsibility and other things with love. When you love someone, their well being becomes more important than your own. You will willingly ignore your own needs and desires for the sake of the other person. Cheating is clearly the opposite of that so, unless you are unconscious or have a gun pointed at your head or at the head of someone you love, cheating on your partner is something you do not even consider. That person is just too important for you to risk losing her/him. I am not even going to give this one a minute of my time cause I am tired of all the infidelity themed dramas that have come out recently.

I will wait for it to finish airing and then come back and decide if I will watch it or not. I have a lot of dramas on my hands right now, including another slice of life kind of plot, so I do not feel like watching this one. At least not for now.

Anyone watched and enjoyed this drama? I dont read many reviews online on it either.
It is because the ending makes it feel incomplete, like there should be 12 more episodes right after. The cast is also not very well known and the plot is not that amazing so it goes unnoticed. It is not bad, but not that good either.

Us Asian drama lovers are really fickle people. We get a short series, and we complain it is too short. We get…
Not just us, humans in general have no idea what they want. I remember when I was studying all I wanted was for it to be summer so I could be away from school and enjoy doing nothing at all and having no time to wake up. Then after 2 weeks or so into the summer holiday I was like ugh, I miss school, I miss my friends, I am bored and tired of doing nothing. And when the new school year eventually started, after a week or so I completely forgot why I wanted to go back to school in the first place and wanted to be on holiday again. lol

She was not unconscious. I actually read your comment before watching the episode so I was paying more attention.…
Yeah, they are not like fully open, but I guess it would be hard to even keep them open since it was pouring. I cannot even open my eyes inside water without using goggles. LOL
But yeah, I think what the writers wanted us to think is that she saw a glimpse of the cameraman right before she became unconscious. She could also have fainted twice. Usually fainting is a very fast thing. She could have been slightly aware of her surroundings before she fainted a second time. Not sure, but it does not seem like a serious plot hole to me so I am willing to let it go. LET IT GO, LET IT GO....sorry, I cannot avoid singing it in my head every time I see these 3 words together, even if I was the one who wrote them. XD

This was soooo disappointing and frustrating to watch. It started well. There were some cardboard characters, mostly the male lead’s mother, and some frustrating misunderstandings here and there, but the main leads won most battles and I liked how the female lead did not let people step all over her. Seeing them slowly falling in love with each other was the best part of it all.

Then they added Sa to the mix and suddenly everyone became dumb, even the main leads who so far were able to see through most schemes. Slowly the drama went from "aww, they are finally in love with each other and everything is going well" to "are you guys blind? when did you become that dumb? how long will it take for you to open your eyes and see you are both raising a snake?". Most of the second half of the drama was Sa making everyone her pawns, the male lead becoming the dumbest person on Earth followed by the female lead who spent most of the second half crying, that was when she was not standing up for "Satan". And this lasted literally until the last episode and then they wrapped it up in the most convenient way by pairing up everyone and trying to convince us they are all in love. And of course you know what they did with his mother, the cliché 90º degrees turn and everything ends well. Btw, Sa’s character was not even dealt with properly even tho she pretty much manipulated the entire second half of the drama. Sigh

Disappointing is all I can say about this drama. And frustrating. And at times boring too. I guess I had more to say than I originally thought. Lol
