I think that the live action version of ouran is extremely funny and well put together, considering this is based off the manga. The casting, though I was skeptical at first, actually really fits with the original characters. Some people may complain about the choice in actors, but keep in mind that it would be hard to match a live actor with an animated character. All-in-all, this is a great adaptation. It made me fall in love with Ouran all over again!
