I am started to feel affection for the FL -- she is manipulative like him, but she is cheerfully shameless about it.
RR is putting some different energy into the Lu Bian character -- he is showing a toothy grin and a galumphing gait. Does that mean he is changing or inconsistent?
Perfect so far. Theme is a little tired -- beauty of slow food vs. corporate etc. Yet -- so far a beautiful example. Ditto comment below -- what a great space that little hole-in-the-wall kitchen is. Not a fan of Kang Ha Neul until the last hour. He must have grown up into this fine man. Have been waiting to see Go Min Si -- have heard she is a really intelligent actress. I didnt know she was the possessor of that rare thing, a symmetrical face. Production value high and nice dialogue. Lets see what comes next.
annnd nooowww, the signature beautifully perfect tango! What a wonderful villain RR would make in a more serious show. Instead we get to delight in his party tricks once again.
I like this. My bet -- Bom and Sa Gye are brother and sister and Tae Yang is the ML. The cliches are annoying, Ha Jun is lively at least. But Lee Sang Hyub is a secret powerhouse and with Cha Chung Waand Jo Han Chul in spporting roles (as the aunt and the wicked CEO resp.) it will be a pleasant watch.
FL fashion in MMA not as cool as in the edge of divorce, but the MMA fl role is lustier and funnier. A pity she is so babyish. The saving context in ItEoD was 'already married but never met' but still it had to be framed as a fantasy of married love to be even palatable. MMA has this 'long-term lovers' frame but the poor FL is a bit stupid, cant distinguish between the ML's non-disguises (and neither can Ryan Ren!).
Signature truly toxic bed toss; actually awful 'I cant help myself, its your fault'; and finally the hoist over the shoulder. Why is this funny? Because it is predictable?
as a rule not too many drunk scenes..but some of these are priceless! her lips arrive at his mouth attached to his meal! And she happily and obliviously dances to what sounds like baroque music while he fends off people bent on assaulting her!!!
Why should I mind? Everyone is free to share their perspectives. Actually, we have never seen our past. What happened…
wow you are from India? i am totally humbled in front of your country's history! sorry again for being so word-obsessed. i try not to be academic (its essentially rude in the context of comments) but sometimes it just pops out. Nice to hear abt indias hxcal context too. Being from the us, and being older, the horrors of slavery really weigh on me. I almost didnt watch tolo, the 1st few eps were so grim...
W hy does Ryan Ren make me laugh so much. He gives the most sincere kisses but in her first dream once again he is giving some girl back pain with errol flynn moves. Over the coffin!
Hi. Prehistoric sounds like you meant something else, Im not sure. Joseon was a centraliized and very well-documented kingdom from the 14thC thru the 19C, so not prehistorical (sorry if I am being overliteral). But anyways there was a seriously weird and intractable problem of an overpopulation of govt slaves and of a lack of humane regulation for what seem to be really complicated economic reasons. Its not my area, but I would guess this much, that the cruelty and craziness in ToLO is actually more realistic than the cheerfully positive depictions of Joseon which we all know and love, and it reflects how cruel stupid people can really be if they think they can get away with it. Had to get that off my chest. Nothing really to do with your comment. Dont mind me.

Or is his love for her showing?
