who ever things this is BL i truly believe ur stupid because we know and have seenguns true partner in BL is off😆😁even…
Unpopular, but I don't really see OffGun's chemistry. Like I loved Not Me but mostly because of the story, not the romance. But also, I feel like I'd like more stuff like Not Me - story based dramas that just happen to have a gay relationship front and center.
Also I'd be a fan if Thailand could get away from pair branding. Although it's probably more comfortable for the actors, I do think that it can be limiting. And afaik they don't do this with their het couples.
I'm not saying it's all here, but in some platforms too. Why does every show right now want people to make it…
I honestly don't think it'll go there and personally I'm fine with that, but as one of the people you are speaking for I'd be delighted if they did. Not because I'm a BL fan (although, guilty, sue me), but also because that would mean that Thailand is willing to put people like me in their shows that *aren't* focused on romance, just like they would a straight couple.
How many bls dow we have where one of them is the owner of a dark artefacts museum and the other can communicate…
I also kind of find your assumption that the only reason people like it is because they're being "baited" into thinking it's BL ridiculous. But you win, I'm done. I generally prefer to keep positive here and this conversation isn't going to go anywhere productive since we seem to be speaking at cross purposes.
In the spirit of that, I hope you have a nice day and I hope that you continue to enjoy the show, whatever happens.

And my point, which you seem to be refusing to get, is that the two things are not mutually exclusive, and yet you're conflating them like the presence of a gay storyline will suddenly make the story bad. *That* is what I am having a problem with.
I don't know why you are fixated on BL being a "shocking twist", no one but you said that. It's not like only one thing can exist, you know?

Dude. The presence of romance (and I'm gonna say BL romance because we both know that's all you really mean) doesn't automatically negate a good story.
Edit: You're probably gonna get your wish and if there is romance it'll more than likely be het, but I really dislike the way you are coming at this.
Still enjoying this way more than I thought I would, if I'm honest. I like the chemistry between everyone a lot and the episodes have been fun with good guest stars. Enjoying the mystery of who Dome really is, both in general and to Khatha in particular (currently I am leaning mostly towards June being more right than not - he thinks that Dome is the one who can finally release him from his immortal curse, but they clearly knew each other in the past so it makes me want to know Dome's deal even more) and *really* enjoying watching Khatha grab at Dome's face every ep/watching Dome faint constantly. I hope both of those trends continue. :D
Why are people so sour about this show? So far it’s been really good and fresh. 7.6?!? C’mon!
Maybe because Ritsu is unlikeable? I like it all the more for that but people have a hard time with characters like that, especially when they're a MC and one of the main couple. Personally I love it, though. He feels real in a way that's almost uncomfortable but I like that. I've always been a fan of messiness.
Usually takes about 6 months for theater releases to make it to DVD/Blue Ray, so sometime after that, probably. So I'd say probably October at the earliest.
Normally I'd also worry about them not giving an international release - they do that sometimes - but I am confident that for this one even if they don't there will be a fan translation at some point, although that might make the wait even longer as that also takes time.
I don't get people saying they got bored due to "lack of development" because I think I can watch HiraKiyo just…
I think that people just forget how real people are. Or they don't want to see reality, they want a pat resolution to everything, like just because Kiyoi and Hira are together suddenly all their individual issues are just going to go away and they'll magically be fixed.
That's not how life works, though, and I for one appreciate the drama showing the ways that people backslide or get stuck in their own head to the point of not being able to move forward. Both of them have spent a long time thinking a certain way, but Kiyoi tends to be the more pragmatic of the two, so I feel like of course he'd be the first to see how things between them weren't exactly right and try to take steps to fix it. Hira sees it too, he's just taking steps in the wrong direction (thinking he has to catch up to Kiyoi professionally rather than emotionally/within the relationship itself). He'll get there eventually but the truth is that it was never going to be instantaneous, and he'll probably do a lot of backsliding. (so will Kiyoi because that's how humans work).
I for one appreciate that they're showing their work here, and am frankly impressed that they're managing to do it in such a short run time. This series is honestly one of the tightest I've ever seen - they don't waste a moment. I have learned to trust Japan with adaptations, though.
I'm honestly curious if they will adapt the third book or if the movie will be the end of it.
I was definitely getting that vibe too. Not just with that, but like the Jack Frost thing too. I wonder if maybe…
Yeah, I agree. I have confidence that it'll get addressed at least a little, mostly because Japan doesn't tend to shy away from the hard stuff.
The problems aren't just going to magically go away because one of them (maybe) has amnesia. At some point they're going to have to deal with the people they are now, not the people they used to be.
I think that this one will probably wind up being entirely chemistry based for me. So far it's cute, I like that the chef seems to be interested already, but we'll see how it goes. Korean BL is so hit or miss for me that I refuse to get my hopes up.
After their trip together, I'm almost certain that Ritsu remembers their relationship now. The whole thing of…
I was definitely getting that vibe too. Not just with that, but like the Jack Frost thing too. I wonder if maybe he feels, like Fumiya, that this is a second chance. But if so, I have a feeling it won't go well because they can't just ignore the problems that broke them up in the first place.
Fumiya dude is so handsome, he really suits this type of series more than he did a teen romcom like T&A (although he was great in that).
Is anyone else getting some weird vibes off of Ritsu, or is it just me? I can't tell if I'm just being suspicious or if he maybe knows more than he's letting on.
