i feel like it could have been weird and the description did put me off at first, but they made it less weird cos ML knew from beginning they weren’t related and wasn’t treated as a son by the mum. and FL found out quite young too so i guess it isn’t that weird. also with 10 years absence between them… kinda met again as adult strangers?? defo could have been so wrong though lol

i just love fei qi ming he’s the perfect friend and support in every drama!!! his acting is so natural he really takes scenes to the next level!!!

rewatched this, honestly such a refreshing drama. constantly smiling especially in the first half - the dynamic between the friends is so sweet, natural and acting is so good!! esther really brought out the BEST of LY as well 🥹🥹❤️❤️

the visuals and aesthetic in this are just stunning!! i love it. it’s probably super subjective/down to preferences as to which adaptation you like more but this felt much more dark and real which i loveddddd. both versions are good but very different :) i really enjoyed that the story is slightly different as it didn’t feel repetitive if you’ve watched the kdrama already
