I know. So far, the closest thing to a teen/YA-oriented show that won in Nataraja Awards was "Project S: Side by Side" back in 2017. It won Best Drama (the highest award) and Best Actor for Tor.

I was actually hoping Pluem or Gun would get nominated for "Happy Birthday" and "The Gifted", respectively, coz they're really good in their roles. But at least their shows got nominated for Best Screenplay and Best Visuals, respectively. Who knows, 2019 might finally be the year for GMMTV to be noticed for acting.

Yes, this is replacing LBF.

It's the first foray of GMMTV into remaking a foreign drama, and I believe they're co-producing this with Change 2561 (same company behind many of GMM25's dramas and Baifern's current One31 drama with Push). So far that's enough reason for me to check out at least the first few episodes of this.

Too bad, BL/teen or young adult-oriented series tend to get snubbed in prestigious Thai awards. Last weekend, I was in Bangkok and I was able to watch on TV the Nataraja Awards (said to be the most prestigious entertainment award in Thailand). Almost all the nominations in the drama category were dramas aired on Channel 3, Channel 7, and One 31. "Happy Birthday" and "The Gifted" managed to snag one nomination each, but they both lost.

The only realistic shot that this has for now would be the fan-focused awards shows.

This will be airing on August 11th. Trailer will be out today.

What's weird though is that I didn't see Marc in a recent IG post of the entire male cast.

They might have a launch event late this year, the way they did it November last year. I'm crossing my fingers that The Gifted Season 2 is on the works.

It's not yet confirmed if they're gonna be included here. I haven't spotted any spoiler on IG yet, but I sure wish they make guest appearances here.

Are you referring to AmpGun? They were part of "Room Alone" and "Room Alone 2" (which aired back in 2014 and 2015, respectively), but it's not a full BL series but rather more of an anthology of different college-aged characters. They've got an episode dedicated for them in the first season, then 2 episodes wherein their characters are explored further in the 2nd season.
