He had a secondary role there, and it was mostly goofball comedy. He was meant to be awkward. Let's say the writer/director made use of what he is everywhere, to make it suit the role. Very clever of them. (The drama was awesome, though). Yes, he was also okay in Oh My Venus. Interesting role. Nowadays he tends to play only cool chaebols.

Yes. I wonder how on earth he keeps getting leading roles. The only time he was decent was in Five Children, playing the arrogant and narcissistic golfer. But every single role in that drama was so well-written, and the director was very good too, so everyone was able to give their best.
