Honestly he kinda reminds me of a hot lizard, so I get it. But I saw him first in When the Phone Rings and he caught my attention there in a good way, he's got some kind of alluring vibe that you can't quite put your finger on, I think he'll surprise you in this if you give him a chance.

I gotta be honest, I've seen you on multiple articles now dragging this one writer. You're acting like the anti-fans who obsessively trash certain people online, like you even have a mean nickname for this random internet person you don't even know. It's fine to disagree and speak out thoughtfully, but this looks kinda obsessive and weird at this point, and makes you a hypocrite for calling them trash for doing exactly the same thing you're doing--spreading hate online. For your own peace of mind maybe just ignore their articles from now on or get your news from a different site.

The story lost all its steam since the time rewind thing was introduced, I swear every episode is like 75%-100% long flashback scenes or repetitive scenes with the characters saying essentially the same things over and over, or contradicting themselves, or scenes of super convoluted exposition, or telling us thing we already have been told 5 times, and it's really hard to stay engaged with the actual story at this point. I feel totally disconnected from the characters cause there's so much repetition and flashbacks and exposition and contradictions and just like minutes on end of slow mo shots of people staring at each other it all just has started to feel kinda ridiculous.

Like the point where Shi Guang got his dragon power finally was like womp womp cause the lead up to it had been derailed by tons of backstory and exposition and I couldn't even feel that excited or any sense of triumph at them succeeding in this huge part of their plan, like the major part of the plan. And now that JiLing gave up his dragon scale for Wu and died idk I just didn't even feel it that much or care that much because of the like 10 times they have been in this same situation where one of them has almost died or died or tried to sacrifice themself for the other, like we have seen so many scenes of them crying about the exact same thing, and so I'm like okay I'm sure they'll find some way to save him or bring him back because every other time they have.

I guess all the tension is gone from the story and I just feel so disconnected. Did anyone else feel this way??

I just started ep 27 and I really loved the show up until the last little bit but the last 5 or so eps have been ROUGH and now not sure if I should finish, I'll put more details in a spoiler tagged comment but for those who have finished is it worth it? Should I keep going?

This just gets better and better, I loved ep 3 and didn't want it to end! IU is more and more delightful each scene istg, I love her character. And I was a bit shook when Yi An admitted he wants to be king! It added another layer of complexity to his character, I -KNEW- he was more ambitious than he let on, and makes his choice of HJ make so much sense, she truly is the type of person who not only understands him but will fight with him to the end. They make such a great team already, I am so invested in this.

I feel a steady contempt from him for her that he has just learned to live with. I think she did something terrible to him in the past.

I took it as her health deteriorated after that, not like she dropped dead that second. Or she may have had a heart attack if she already had heart issues.

Yeah I think people feel like they are superior if they dislike something everyone else likes, like they have better and unique taste than the "masses". Idk. It's pretty human to do, I've done it myself in the past tbh, but it's def not fair to BWS esp cause I really do not see the issue with how he's playing the role, even if you do'nt think it's great it is pretty ridiculous to say he's a bad actor. He is obviously talented

Him making the comment about needing to look his best at any time since she may show up made it clear the reason he didn't like her popping up was because he has a fat crush and it threw him off, not because he felt uncomfortable with her even being near him. I mean, by the end of the episode he accepts her proposal so it's def not even close to stalking, you gotta look at this all in context.

I love getting second lead syndrome when it doesn't overtake the first lead. It's much better than when the second lead is super lame or a jerk but still somehow comes between the two leads.

I cackled. I fell in love with her hard in that moment.

But she is beautiful. She is smarter and better at business than her brother. She is rich. She does have a thick skin and has proven she can thrive despite being criticized constantly. Everything she says about herself is true and she has all the receipts. So what makes her arrogant rather than jsut confident? I think you should be asking yourself instead why you are uncomfortable with a female lead who knows her worth and doesn't make herself small or fake humility to make others comfortable (opposite of the FL of lovely runner).

Honestly, so many drama watchers LOVE this kind of character when it's a ML. She so much more real than the mousy, doormat, "nice" FLs we see so often. I love her and am rooting for her.

Yeah I actually would have liked better if they started the drama with them in high school if they were going to show so many scenes from that time period. Like half an episode for the first ep. Then when they end up meeting again it would have felt more meaningful.

YES. I think he said no at first to even meeting because he enjoyed playing hard to get and wanted to see how far she'd go to see him, his line about only marrying for love was more of an invitation than a rejection, and while he seems to make final decisions only from his very strategic and calculating side and only said yes once he could more logically justify it, he is 100% hoping they end up actually falling in love.

I also really loved that whole hotel sequence and how we got to see that while HJ may be extra and put on a big show at times, when the situation is actually serious she is quite capable, thoughtful, and generous. I really love the character and am ready to follow her to the end.
