The king seems like a smart man so I don’t understand how he can’t see all the snakes around him. He also…
I've always gotten the sense that the king knows way more than he lets on, and that he sees how dangerous the minister is and so is careful about what he shows or does. I think he knows the concubine is playing her own game, and the scene from the past where he banished eun jo's father felt like something maybe the evil minister had orchestrated all along and the king was forced to go along with it. The scene where he tells Yeol to be careful so he can take care of his mother like the king couldn't take care of his own hints that he doesn't have as much power as it seems.

Ahh, dramas… we all know how this will end:Her father will suddenly come back, realize she was married by mistake, then…
That second idea is interesting. What if he's stripped of his title for some reason, like they end up taking down the baddies but it costs him his title cause the king can't keep him around politically. That would be cool way to end it

It must not be easy to fall in love with the young widow your grandpa.
My first thought was that he has a revenge plot in mind to take down his father somehow and that's why he didn't want to marry the 2FL. I don't know anymore tbh

I think that because the truth about the bethrotal was hidden from FL's father (who might regain his stature),…
Yeah the fact that her father is technically a noble before his status was stripped , the old dude died before the actual ceremony, and there was deception in the arrangement will make it easier.

Also if her father ends up helping the king in some way he will be more likely to reward him.

Okay, now tell me that we have completed the body swap plot and it won't happen again, please
They will swap again when it will be least convenient for them, this is how you add tension to the story

Title To My Beloved Thief Spoiler
Love how we started episode 6 with a truth bomb, and there are no longer any secrets between the leads. Even the…
I have hope cause the 2FL is so pure and kind and that boy has never been loved in his life, if anyone can love him its her lol

There's two ways his arc can go, either he goes deeper and deeper and becomes even more of a villian than his father, or he decides to stop trying to win his father's love and joins in with the gildong cause. Hoping the latter, I love a good redemption arc

The SML wants his father's love and approval, he's like an abused puppy. And it would be more unrealistic for a commoner to suddenly be completely cool and collected suddenly thrown into the palace which is almost mythical to her.

His character was one of the most interesting to me from the beginning because of the writing, finding out he was illegitimate added a lot of depth to his character, and I see him continuing to evolve, so I don't get this take

ohh FFS! I was sooo getting into this drama til this body swapping crap, my most hated trope! 🤬🤬🤬And…
Normally I don't like body swap but the writer does a really good job of making it central to the plot, like the plot moves forward because of the swap in an irreversible way and a way it could not have without the swap. So in this case it's not a trope.

I think they're using the second leads to add overall complications to the body swap to add some spice to the show, but I don't think either of them will be serious contenders. They wouldn't have had the 2nd leads meet at the beginning and be engaged and have all those scenes together to not end up together.

Guys I was so shocked he already found out she's gildong, I am so used to dramas stringing out secrets FOREVER, this makes me excited cause the show must have more twists up its sleeve and a lot more plot to show us. Really loving it so far, this week was the best yet.

It's also so refreshing that the body swap is actually integral to the plot rather than just a gimmick. Eun Jo isn't just stumbling around the palace as the Prince just for humor, her knowledge of medicine brought to light how the minister and concubine are drugging the king, she had the knowledge to tell the guards to investigate the death of "gildong" when otherwise the minister would have gotten away with it. And the prince being a nobody widow in a powerful house is helping him get info and intel he never could have as the prince and he's able to advocate for and change Eun Jo's situation in a way she never could have herself.

I’m lowkey stressed about the catfishing. It’s like they are unintentionally leading their rival on in each…
Yeah I was thinking about this too, but then realized how to a commoner at the time the palace would be almost like another planet, like we get to see it a lot in historicals but for anyone non-royal they would never have even seen inside at any point in their lives. And would have been very intimidated by being surrounded by people with kinda unimaginable power, and have no idea about all the rules and even more the unspoken rules. It would be less realistic for her to enter into that kind of situation and be immediately cool and collected and fall right into place.

It makes sense that the opposite is true for the prince in Eun Jo's body, cause for someone who grew up surrounded by the intrigue of the palace dealing with one noble household would be nothing.

I liked his brief appearance in Study Group, but watching this, it's clear to me that Hong Min Ki still has a…
I think he's doing more with the role than you're giving him credit for. The character is someone who hides his emotions under a very cold exterior, so he's not going to be pulling faces like NJH, who I actually find overacts at times (she's great and I'm loving her in this, but she's not a great comparison). He's making the character quite sympathetic despite being a complete asshole in every single scene he's in, which isn't easy and shows he can express vulnerability well, which is the most important thing for an actor. He doesn't seem out of place to me, and some of my favorite scenes are between him and NJH because he is able to add a lot of intensity and tension to the scenes, which also is a very important skill as an actor. Is he Lee Jae Wook at age 23? No. But I think he's holding his own and is doing a great job with the role.

I haven't wtached this one,but is the SCRIPT alone carrying this kdrama, cause the pairing seems extremely mismatched?!?Or…
They have great chemistry from the first scene together. The actress plays the character with a lot of enthusiasm and brightness which makes her seem young and full of energy. The actor plays him with a lot of confidence and bravado but also there is this grounded thoughtfulness and gentleness to him that makes him seem kind of like an old soul at times. He is also much higher in status than her.

TBH I literally did not even think about the fact that they were different ages, when I really try and think about it I guess he does look younger but the acting sells it 100%.

Idk why I never considered NJH as a historical action lead but I can totally see it, he def has the build and look for it, and his acting gets better with every project. Looking forward to this one for sure

NO! the writer doesn’t do romance, but there will be intense chemistry.
My Liberation Notes had a legit, for sure romance arc between the leads and then like 2 other side romances

Title Spring Fever
The two leads are so weird and extra, I love them, they are perfect for eachother. Joo Bin really shined in eps 5 and 6, her dancing with the medal and then doing a semi strip tease with the jae gyu plant had me crakcing up, and also the scene where she sees him through the window with the other woman, she was so hilarious and whacky. The scene at the end with her crying over it all left me feeling so warm, it was such a rare vulnerable moment from Bom. The kiss had me cheering, I'm so glad they didn't drag out the waiting period for the full 478998 seconds or however long lol.

Some of my fav parts of a series are when a couple starts dating but has to keep it secret, it's so romantic and fun. Looking forward to next week for sure. But also his line about how they'll meet in that spot after two years seems like a foreshadow for them eventually being caught and separating.

I really think people are reading Se Jin sooo wrong. and taking her WAY WAY too seriously. This entire show is full of absurd, petty, but ultimately harmless and good hearted characters, and she is one of them with her stubborn brattiness and dry cynicism and fixation on making the nice boy in class her own personal villain. But she is one of the most honest and straightforward characters, which I find endearing and refreshing. She immediately asked Han Gyeol how he felt when she realized he may have feelings for her, and she didn't do it in a cruel or mocking way, her calling them a thriller was just another one of her dry, cynical observations. He is the one who was mean to her at that point by insulting her and acting like he was too good for her. Idk I find them cute and interesting because of the fact that they have no idea how to deal with their feelings and are just stumbling around, makes them human and interesting. Literally think I'm the only one who likes them haha.

This drama blows even the trivial things out of proportion.Honestly, they should start dating in the open. Nobody…
It's called trauma, and if anything you're trivializing it. She did literally nothing wrong and got physically assaulted and shamed in front of her students and coworkers and had a reputation she had worked very hard for dragged unfairly through the mud, then had her parents essentially emotionally abandon her to the point she had to cut them off and move across the country, so you really can't understand why she would be hesitant to not just get close to a parent again but actually openly date one?

Think about it, people could accuse her of giving preferential treatment to han gyeol since she's dating his guardian, or of not being professional when she already was transferred here for an incident, the kids and other teachers and parents would gossip about her. Just beacuse people "should" be understanding rarely means they are, it doesn't make sense to have the show just show everyone being super nice and perfect to eachother
