Honestly i'm considering dropping this now, like this is romcom which leans heavily on comedy, so why is half…
I love the pettiness of the 2ML , he was so funny in the BBQ scene. He is actually sooo dorky and harmless, there is no threat of him causing any sort of actual love triangle or ever actually doing anything to harm ML in a real way cause he is allll talk and bravado. He is very tied into both of the leads resolutions of their backstory arcs. I think he adds a lot to the show and I like the character.
Her parents were actually being nice and normal, and excited to see her cross the finish line and she rushes out…
Her parents only give her positive attention when she wins, that was the point of that whole scene. You noted it yourself, this is literally the only time her parents have actually been nice to her and yet you're still criticizing her for not putting on a fake smile and being happy for scraps from them?
Am I the only one obsessed with this drama like WHY IS THE RATING SO LOW!!?
I expected to come here after this week's eps and see it go up a couple points cause it has been consistently so strong but it went down, I really don't get it at all.
"There was a time when I experienced burnout. I struggled for about a year. Gyeong Do's lines to Ji Woo actually…
Only someone's doctor or therapist can define what "true burnout" is for them, and we don't know what he felt like for that year. You're actually invalidating not only him but others who may have experienced a shorter period of burnout and who may be thinking that like you, others judge them as not "really" being burned out or suffering. This response comes off as you trying to show off how smart you are rather than wanting to really be compassionate
Tired of the last episode break up then reconciliation in last 5 mins trope in every other Kdrama. The writers…
NOOO not one of those whyy. That kind of behavior is so toxic in a relationship and it makes it feel like the couple shouldn't be together and aren't gonna last, it ruins the magic of the eventual happy ending. I hate when writers do this, there are so many ways to add tension to a new relationship that aren't the two breaking up for no reason.
I just finished ep 3 and so far I quite like the show and the leads have good chemistry but I genuinely don't understand why he wouldn't at least entertain the thought of becoming friends or getting to know her slowly, cause they didn't explain that at all. They've shown scene after scene of him thinking about her, smiling and laughing at how funny and cute she is, they show him spending time visiting her in the hospital, reading up about her mental illness even, and it's clear he cares about her and enjoys her company and finds her interesting and attractive. He has friends so he's not anti social. He's also accepted and isn't trying to confess to his past crush anymore, so even if he isn't gung ho about going all in dating her or anyone right now it doesn't really make sense to me why from the start and every single time he sees her he makes it a point to proactively finalize their connection so he won't see her again, when it would make much more sense for him to just treat her like a casual friend who he happens to keep meeting.
Hong Sister dramas tend to get super messy and sloppy in the second half so I kind of expect that to happen, but this part is really bothering me about the writing right now.
must protect jae gyu at all costs, going around calling her yeobo but then freezing up the moment she asks him for drinks. He is so weird but so lovable.
Guess I'm the only one who enjoys the school kids romance, classic hate to love trope, I find them both interesting and cute. People are taking Se Jin wayyyy too seriously in a show that has a lot of absurd and dark humor, her very vocally hating him just because he is #1 is so ridiculous it's funny, and it's obviously because she actually admires him, at this point "Evil Han Gyul" may as well be a term of endearment. I think their romance will end up being meaningful and really sweet.
I hate to say this because she's a young actress, but the scenes with Se Jin are really annoying to watch.
I like that she calls Han Gyul out, because while he clearly has a good heart and is a good person, he is a huge people pleaser and he is the one who keeps pestering her and trying to get involved when she has never asked for his help or sought him out to be close.
Not respecting another person's boundaries is selfish and immature, too, but no one seems to be calling Han Gyul out for that in the comments.
I wish they had showed us why Han Gyeol likes Se Jin (at least for now it looks like that). Till now there has…
He seems like the type to need to please everyone so I feel like the very fact that she so vocally hates him makes him like her and he subconsciously admires that she doesn't need to be liked or to always put on a "nice guy" persona like he feels pressured to. Opposites attract for a reason.
I actually think she is valid for considering what he's doing to be somewhat from pity and for it to bother her, cause it is pretty condescending to have the #1 student in class give you their notes and put in all this extra effort to help you in addition to also helping themself beat you. So I can see why her guard is still up. She is very prickly so she needs her walls broken down more and she just needs time to see he genuinely cares.
I love their potential already, they're both immature and that's what teen love is all about so I find them cute and like the idea of them growing as people by liking each other.
Okay whatās her game plan here ? Suddenly asking him on a date etc. way too fast . Seems suspicious.
I wonder if she's paying him back for the first time they met? We have seen tidbits of them having a meal from the memory, so maybe she is acknowledging that she remembers him?
In my opinion, itās not silly and terrible at all. It had me laughing. Things may be lost in translation though.…
Don't apologize, OP is being manipulative. Your response was respectful and kept focus on the drama itself, OP is the one resorting to personal attacks.

By your exact same logic you saying it's silly and terrible is telling us how to feel about the drama. Where is your respect? I do'nt understand the mindset of people who come and say a drama sucks and then get all upset when people disagree with them .
It's never disrespectful or rude to say an opinion about an object like a show, but you didn't, your OG comment insulted people who rated this drama highly, implying that their opinion on the drama isn't valid. Now you're all over the replies all butthurt when others do the same to you.
Korea really puts a handsome 2ML that is JAPANESE and then expects us te believe that we would prefer the ML for…
Honestly I get it because Kim Seonho is one of those actors who isn't remotely unattractive or anything but you see him an you're like what's the big deal about this guy, but duuuuude buckle up cause he has some sort of magic about him, you can't end a drama not in love with him. You won't even remember there is a 2ML by the end of the drama.
I feel so done with gumiho characters there have already been so many dramas with them and I feel like they all follow a very similar and predictable plot where eventually the gumiho or human decide they can never be together and do stupid and dramatic noble idiocy blah blah only for the solution to be magically handwaved in the last 10 mins and they end up together. I love Hye Yoon but I may wait until this is over to see how it plays out

Don't dish it out if you can't take it.
