This review is the generic slop you accuse the show of being. Vague, over-wrought explanations with ZERO actual examples from the show,. This entire review could be copy and pasted into every other drama ever made and just swap out "Mr. Queen" for another of the same genre.

I just went to watch another of my current airing dramas but I'm dragging my feet so hard about it, I used love that show and esp the ML in it, like he was one of my favs I'd seen in a while, and nothing about him has changed but he's just... not Che Se Gye. This drama has ruined me for all others

There def is a love triangle haha. It's one sided but it does cause problems for the main couple.

She said at dinner at the beginning of the episode that she was never going to rely on a man again for anything. She is very stubbornly trying to handle everything herself and it is going to backfire on her like all the other times. I just hope she tells him sooner rather than later. She has kinda stalled character-development wise

I don't like that tbh. I don't like manufactured cliff hangers that get resolved seconds into the next episode. Kinda weak storytelling imo

omg you're so right! They've been able to somehow manage the tonal shifts from unhinged to genuinely deep and moving so well from day 1. I can't remember the last romcom that kept the "com" all the way through to the end like this

The actor is doing a great job with him, and I like that he has a hidden son. Doesn't absolve him of all his terrible evil acts but it makes him more layered

He said "You're the only one" so casually, it made it all that much more romantic.

His character was written sooo blandly in when the phone rings but he still caught my attention, so it's nice to see what he can do with proper writing.

I feel like Se Gye talks a lot of talk but he would be the whiny type of jealous whereas SeoRi would cut a b*tch

I think he's trying to hide the fact that he has a son from everyone. Cause if you watch the scene again he said that quickly once he heard his assistant come up and then said he was buying it for an adult. He can't let anyone know because that would put him at risk, he knows all too well how people use family members as a weakness to exploit
