THE GREATEST ENDING FOR A MASTERPIECE

"I will cross the wall to find you"
Review after the 7th times watching it.
Intrigues, destined encounters, attraction, chemistry and complexity in a whole sequel story.
I LOVED again Liu Shi Shi and Wu Qi Long, my beloved destined pair, but i need to mention 2 things.
First of all, the double role for Liu Shi Shi. She was perfect nailing the two characters.
And Kang Sihan OMG
He has a different devopment, opposite to every other character in the series, but i really liked how scheming and mischievous he becomes, like real evil with costraint.
A perfect ending for an heartbreaking story full of rollercoasters.
REALLY LOVED IT
Don't miss it

PSEUDO HISTORY AGAIN

This movie is a whole mess, a total wrong doing.
Lack of historical facts, lack of historical authenticity ( except that koreans were, and still are, so stupid that they didn't know any formation. In 1636.
This is one of the reason why Qing Dynasty dignified ruled in Korea, with a rightful conquest. In history, korea pretended to struggle, because they lacked any proper war tactics and techniques.
The movies shows that the fortress was an helpless way to struggle ( i would have preferred to show the General who fought after the King surrendered, to see Huang Taiji forgiving him and sending him back without any harm).
The King kneeling towards the rightful and good Great Qing could only be the only outcome.
They only accept their destiny of slaves, and it's not even nationalism of pride, it's even inferior that the ""Barbarians"" they fought, showing the real Barbarians is Korea itself.
And obviously, always cheering for our Great Qing.

it's a crazy trash and cringe drama, but typical of every Korean production, exploiting actors for success.
Set during the righteous and perfect Qing rule over Korea.
The warning "this story is about fictitious events" always makes me cringe, as it seems like Joseon never existed. Nice respect for history...
Already in the first episode we find something Koreans are very good at, erasing history to make themselves great. The Emperor... historically inaccurate since he was a coward.
Cultural appropriation of Chinese sewing techniques, Chinese hanfu. Phrases said to mock China, its history, its culture and its multi-ethnicity, because Korea is poor.
The story is absolutely ridiculous, out of context and the romance context completely unrelated to the real story. A cast of actors who can't act, the two protagonists too detached and modern compared to the historical context. The story lacks a balance between romance and historical context .
The two protagonists are cringe from episode to episode. Th side characters are ridiculous and lacks depth.
Historical inaccuracies every now and then.
Bad direction and camera, without color balance that make the visuals squalid.
It totally falls after half and the ending is bad and casual

ZHANG HAN BOYFRIEND MATERIAL + HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP. WATCH THIS RATHER THAN TOXIC LOVE020

This dramas is heartwarming despite some bad things during the development. The relationship is healthy, natural, pure. There is a balance of positive and negative. Women are portrayed almost badly, like cheaters, chatty, only thinking about marrying a rich man for a luxurious life. Women who are not able to express themseleves. Shan Shan at the beginning seems like a doll without any will, but later a particular event will make her grow.
Feng Teng at the beginning is near to stalking and abuse of power, but his character development for me is one of the best in the drama. He is cold, scheming, he almost does not support his friend for business, but loving his cute Shan Shan makes him change. He becomes caring, loving, gentle, sweet. He is no a God, he is not perfect, he is not a Prince because of his richness or because he is handsome. He makes mistakes, he has feeling. He is a perfect imperfect Prince.
Zhang Han and Zanilla Zhao portrayed them perfectly, even though i admit i melted every time with Zhang Han.
Each characters have a good development.
The only character i really dislike is Li Shu. I can't stand her attitude towards love, using schemes and so on. Too easy.
This story is so good and heartwarming, with the meaning that love means being perfectly imperfect together, fighting together against problems, growing together and choosing out path

PART 2 CRINGE FROM PART 1 - the power of domination

"watching people want to live when they have been taken captive, seems so pathetic in my eyes"

Part 2 always cringe. And my beloved Princess Qing, is right, it is pathetic indeed, to be a slave.
Always stupid and ridiculous characters, eithout any development and positive elements
The ministers are more reasonable and normal characters. You have been conquered, accept your fate as slaves and deportation.
Some of the useless characters lose their lives (finally).
The two protagonists are the same as the first episode of part 1, without development or maturity.
It is also annoying that they are still called "intruders" when we are almost completely conquered in China (end of 1642-1643). The Han of the Ming Dynasty would have the right to do so, not the slaves. How beautiful the market was❤️
The only nice thing is to see the Qing conquest after a few years, and the few Qing that are seen. CONQUEST POWER.
The Princess of the Qing Dynasty is the only decent woman, and decent character, in the whole drama, along with those of the Qing Dynasty. The drama, in the first part, deals with the years 1636-1637, in the second part 1642-1645.
The useless Crown Prince and Princess die, and they deserve it.
The ML protagonist remembers of creepy stalkers, it's as trashy as the drama (unwatchable). The story is not at all believable from any point of view ( what kind of behaviours??)
Princess Qing is literally the best, strong, pragmatic although kind-hearted. She much better than all the spineless Korean characters, both male and female. 0 courage.
Nonsense ending fanservice for the fans of an actor ( are they arelly actors?) who doesn't even know how to act, like the whole cast. Inaccuracy of the costumes can be clearly seen.
Not recommended at all. This is too comic relief.

THIS WILL ALWAYS BE THE ORIGINAL W VERSION, CHINESE ONE

THE BEST ADAPTATION FAR SUPERIOR THAN THE ORIGINAL ONE.
I really like this drama. Chemistry is on fire, very talented and handsome actor, no american cheap elements like car crashing, less thriler ( not needed). And the way he looks at her... for more romance. It's a romance thriller made with gold and diamonds, I'm really loving it. Perfect OSTs too.
I really suggest this one more than the k- bland version with too much american influence.
Whoever suggest the foolish k-one with non-talented actors, con't even compare.
Save yourself and your own sanity from kdramas. Watch this cdrama that is the original and best version. You won't be disappointed.

waste of time

Lack of historical accuracy for the Great Qing ruling domination which should be honoured. Another mistake movie.
There is no plot, there is no development, no mood, no tension. No development for characters or the non-existent plot.
Only arrows casually fleeding everywhere. Action package casually with no logical sense.
A waste of time that i won't ever recommend to anyone. Except if you want to fry your brain... it's a full nonsense with bland characters not even possible to define it.

P*RN WITHOUT ANY PLOT AND WITHOUT ANY FEELINGS OF LOVE

Thai ruined another great Japanese BL after Love Stage.
Those liking this trash are only obsessed stalker fans of those u*gly actors. All fans are happy that Japan intervened legally, now only waiting for this to be cancelled forever. And the actors can end in disgrace to ruin it.
U*ly actors that can't act at all, 0 chemistry, and only sly perverted kisses.
Karan is an obsessed stalker who wants to r*pe Achi, withou any fanboy love feelings from the original.
Achi is a party boy, without any antisocial skills from the original.
People are too blatant and ridiculous that can't even understand the difference between being antisocial and being shy.
second pair is so stupid i can't, without feelings from the original.
And those stupid perverted inserted touchy thing, totally unnecessary.
They say it's an adaptation of the manga, but they should explain why they cut half of the manga, without adapting it.
As always, Thai are too p*rn and too touchy to be able to adapt more delicate and pure BL like that. They have the flavor of lust and s*x, not the flavor of love.
I don't recommend this trashy thing to anyone, and i'm happy that every Japanese BL fans raised in protest.

WARNING: STALKING IS NOT LOVE!

One of the worst CMV i've ever watched. I give 5.0 only because of Zheng Shuang, the only good thing in this 12 minutes CMV. The plot is cute, but the development is totally bad with nosense at all. The fridge this is creepy. Where is the cuteness here?
The main leads have no chemistry at all, from the beginning to the end.
. He's more like a maniac stalker catching a prey. A complete idiot.
Zheng Shuang is cute and beautiful as always, i liked her here.
Not worth watching, a waste of time.

CULTURAL APPROPRIATION IS A CRIME

This drama has only 1 thing: plagiarising of Chinese culture. Because of cultural appropriation, it's currently called in court to be sentenced. Taoism never reached Korea, so how?
But Koreans keep stealking since 2004, no wonder why.
A useless series, not worth watching, in my opinion. Actors are not good, even adult actors. They seems like children, and the whole drama is like a middle school recital. They can't act and they are not handsome at all.
Setting, pottery, dresses... everything is plagiarised, and the few little Korean elements are totally useless.
Nor original at all, only a cheap plagiarised copy with low budget.
The second part of the story is totally nonsense.
I won't recommend this drama, but of course, go ahead if you want to watch it and give it a try.
The series is accused, that's why it's a flop in Korea. The second part listed in December was already listed before the flop, it's not a season 2. They couldn't keep the whole cheap story in less episodes.
It's torturing yourself watching this drama, 1h long episodes are too much.

KOREAN ARROGANCE AT ITS BEST

The only valuable thing ( rarely achieved in Korea cultural thief dramas) is the representation of the Ming armor, mostly accurate that the news was even spread on Chinese medias.

But it's the really the 1 only thing valuable.
Historical inaccuracy both in historical fact and depiction of the reality. Japanese are depicted as cowards, and Chinese are greedy and arrogant. I should mention even the problem in speaking in Japanese and Chinese ( a student can speak way better). "Lao Ye" in a non-confidential relationship is unbearable to listen, and the depiction of a modified relationship from mutual respect to contrast is too stupid.
The big problem is that the depiction is like Korean army pretend to be able to defeat Japanese army on their own, in a showing act of supreme arrogance while it was them to ask for help to the Great Ming Empire, their sangguk, their master and owner.

The whole drama diminishes and degrades Yi Sun's sacrifice because Korea is too arrogant in their own depiction.
A show completely to miss, because it only show arrogance.
But don't be surprised, don't you know Korea created the whole world, as they themselves are convinced?

THE RIGHT PUNISHMENT: CANCELLED

The critics are right. Bland acting, historical inaccuracy and cultural appropriation of Chinese elements everywhere. This deserved the cancellation. The plot is totally nonsense, with a bland and fake representation.
Not worth wasting time to watch this.
For someone not knowing the matters, ignorance is not an excuse. Throughout 2 episodes, there is more Chinese inflence than Joseon period. Bad cinematography and color shaping, fetish of children and so on.
I am not surprised about the flop and the cancellation.

TERRIBLE

Not worth of it. Totally historical inaccurate and inappropriate representation of the events. Not worth to waste time. There is no historical explanation, not a real historical setting. Only a blatant fiction who is not even scaring. The historical confict never shown. Impossible ever to describe a proper plot, it lacks it. Why involving others in something so blatant without any depth? Totally wasting time, watching it. Details are inaccurate and lacks proper definition.
How is it the rating so high?

ARROGANCE

The puppet state in the south of the korean peninsula is always so arrogant and vulgar, loving being conquered and dominated by America, and this is shown in their own production.
Can they be able to create proper historical productions without unnecessary things and not changing the historical source?
Goryeo was under the Yuan domination even contrasting the Song, so they should explain the historical innaccuracy to steal Chinese hanfu and Chinese characters. Historical inaccuracy that even the original novel author criticised the production, lack of history sources, unnecessary screen on a slave country,
Don't waste your time on this trash made by thieves.
Always and forever The Great Liao Dynasty of Khitans

HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP GOALS, GAMING AND TRUE FRIENDSHIP

The main point of this drama is that even if the entire world looks down on you, you can still achieve your dreams. Not only your loved one, but friends are always supporting and motivating you to go through.
I REALLY REALLY LOVED Wang Yibo as Ji Xian Kong here, even more than in The Untamed or Legend of Fei. He is a reserved, controlled, harsh boy at the beginning, and then thanks to friends and Qiu Ying he mellows ans it shows a very caring attitude, strong feeling and a strong passion.
This is the only e-sports drama that really stole my heart, thanks to Wang Yibo.
He is a natural leader, but never imposing or controlling. Yibo's acting is natural, perfect, and he has a lot in common with his character ( first of all, love for motorcycles).
Wang Zixuan as Qiu Ying was criticised a lot, but i loved her characters. She is a rather immature gurl at the beginning, strong but yet too submissive. She deals with every problems she has to fight, but she is not alone. I liked her strong-willed character and her growth in a very mature girl.
They boyt have a mature acting.
I want to highlight the relationship between Qiao Xin and Qi Yue. Yes, they are mostly annoying, but two negative characters that are able to support each other even in negative ways.
The cast is full of characters that you can't help but love. Xia Ling and his growth, Pei Xi, Summer-ge.
The plot is full of real topics, first of all the gaming setting. E-sports is developed like a real sport where the society have to buy them.
The series presents even a realistic development of working life, from gaming to reporters.
"The most burning adventure", the opening by Wang Yibo, is so catchy and so wonderful that you can't avoid it. I LOVED IT.
I cried a lot when Phoenix was founded, and at the ending. They were heartwarming scenes.
I loved it because it's a perfect mix between gaming scenes and relationships with character devlopment. Gaming scenes are set perfectly and not boring like in the majority of e-sports dramas.
The main leads struggle to achieve their dreams, but never give up and built a true love relationship and true friendship. This drama is not only gaming or only romance.
For me, it's the best e-sports drama hands down, and it's a pity that Wang Yibo is mostly knows because of The Untamed because of the popularity of the brand.
Yibo really shines in Gank your heart, and we can see a glance of the true Wang Yibo in Ji Xian Kong.
PHOENIX FOREVER
