ARROGANCE

The puppet state in the south of the korean peninsula is always so arrogant and vulgar, loving being conquered and dominated by America, and this is shown in their own production.
Can they be able to create proper historical productions without unnecessary things and not changing the historical source?
Goryeo was under the Yuan domination even contrasting the Song, so they should explain the historical innaccuracy to steal Chinese hanfu and Chinese characters. Historical inaccuracy that even the original novel author criticised the production, lack of history sources, unnecessary screen on a slave country,
Don't waste your time on this trash made by thieves.
Always and forever The Great Liao Dynasty of Khitans

P*RN WITHOUT ANY PLOT AND WITHOUT ANY FEELINGS OF LOVE

Thai ruined another great Japanese BL after Love Stage.
Those liking this trash are only obsessed stalker fans of those u*gly actors. All fans are happy that Japan intervened legally, now only waiting for this to be cancelled forever. And the actors can end in disgrace to ruin it.
U*ly actors that can't act at all, 0 chemistry, and only sly perverted kisses.
Karan is an obsessed stalker who wants to r*pe Achi, withou any fanboy love feelings from the original.
Achi is a party boy, without any antisocial skills from the original.
People are too blatant and ridiculous that can't even understand the difference between being antisocial and being shy.
second pair is so stupid i can't, without feelings from the original.
And those stupid perverted inserted touchy thing, totally unnecessary.
They say it's an adaptation of the manga, but they should explain why they cut half of the manga, without adapting it.
As always, Thai are too p*rn and too touchy to be able to adapt more delicate and pure BL like that. They have the flavor of lust and s*x, not the flavor of love.
I don't recommend this trashy thing to anyone, and i'm happy that every Japanese BL fans raised in protest.

KOREAN ARROGANCE AT ITS BEST

The only valuable thing ( rarely achieved in Korea cultural thief dramas) is the representation of the Ming armor, mostly accurate that the news was even spread on Chinese medias.

But it's the really the 1 only thing valuable.
Historical inaccuracy both in historical fact and depiction of the reality. Japanese are depicted as cowards, and Chinese are greedy and arrogant. I should mention even the problem in speaking in Japanese and Chinese ( a student can speak way better). "Lao Ye" in a non-confidential relationship is unbearable to listen, and the depiction of a modified relationship from mutual respect to contrast is too stupid.
The big problem is that the depiction is like Korean army pretend to be able to defeat Japanese army on their own, in a showing act of supreme arrogance while it was them to ask for help to the Great Ming Empire, their sangguk, their master and owner.

The whole drama diminishes and degrades Yi Sun's sacrifice because Korea is too arrogant in their own depiction.
A show completely to miss, because it only show arrogance.
But don't be surprised, don't you know Korea created the whole world, as they themselves are convinced?

FIGHTING FOR PEACE

One of the most beautiful war dramas about the topic of the war against USA aggressors, for the first time it has a profile that is even different from the previous ones. It is highlighted that the young boys not only fought in the Chinese places on the border, before going to Korea, but that among the ranks there were young people from the areas inhabited by Chinese Korean ethnic minority, such as Yanbian. In an excellent glimpse of war and friendship, there are scenes on both sides and dialogue in Korean, with differences between Pyongyang and Seoul.
The love story is not invasive, with the right chemistry.
The narrative is intense, softened by the moments of friendship between the companions and the character of Liang Chen, between seriousness and irony. The main leads, Luo Jin and Ma Sichun, are excellent, but the entire cast is to be praised. Yang Fan particularly stands out in the role of South Korean commander Bai Chang Hao.
Note that Korean is recognized as being spoken particularly in the north, with influences from dialects in Chinese areas.
Each character has enormous development, and they grow up warmly in you, no one is detestable (apart from the USA evil aggressors).
Special mention to the scene of "you barbaric people, asking women to relieve themselves in public", where the imperialist and Western rhetoric totally collapsed.
Excellent representation of all the battles, patriotic feelings, and above all, the vile reality of the USA.

A GREAT SACRIFICE, STILL WITHOUT OFFICIAL EXCUSES

"A nation should not meddle in the affairs of other nations. Do you believe the US will abide by this pact? If it does, the civil war in Korea is not a problem. If it goes to war, it will undermine China's internal security."

"The great war" starts with the decision of Chinese central government to enter the "War in defense of Korea against US aggression" , with the great deeds of the heroic volunteers of the people in war to resist aggression and help North Korea, after the US and South Korean attack on Chinese territory too. This is the first film in a trilogy that adapts a series of 3 novels.
To be closer to the volunteer soldiers of the 1950s in terms of physical fitness and mental temperament, the 300 actors who played the roles of the soldiers underwent rigorous military training for a month, with war scenes shot with 8 cameras simultaneously by multiple sides.
To better adapt to the physical condition of Premier Zhou who worked all night and did not sleep during that period, Liu Jin who played him also changed his work and rest schedule.
Zhang Ziyi collected a lot of data and also visited elders who had served as simultaneous interpreters at the United Nations, and took English classes to practice British pronunciation.
The war to resist US aggression and help Korea was the founding battle of New China.
The film adopts a narrative strategy that develops at an internal and external level, of politics and war, first the USA and Russia, then Korea.
On a broader level, the film represents elements that have never been depicted before, such as Chinese representatives and their impassioned speeches at the United Nations General Assembly, to also make China's voice heard.
Actor Wu Xiuquan, representing the Chinese delegate, raising his hands at the United Nations General Assembly, exemplifies a relationship between national dignity and individual life, giving a frontal blow to the invaders on the battlefield.

Another praise that I would like to give to the film is the figure of Mao Zedong's son, Mao Anying played by a very good Wei Daxun, one of the Chinese martyrs of this war (where China emerged from 38 years of civil war and an aggressive foreign), who died on the battlefield while sending telegraphic messages and various communications and who was buried in Pyongyang.
The topic of the movie is something that deeply interests me, and i am happy that i t shows with great impact that Chinese victims are all aged between 18 and 30.
It's one of those films that makes me love China even more and their patriotic spirit to the maximum, ready to sacrifice and fight, because without a homeland there is no home.

A GREAT EMPEROR

An intense, serious, mature drama about political intrigue, brotherhood and sincerity. An Emperor always misunderstood, but with a noble heart. I loved this drama and my beloved Emperor Yongzheng ❤️ All the characters are well-developed, as is the remarkable historical accuracy, not entirely complete though. The drama presents us with an increasingly masterfully woven and intricate intrigue, from the period as Prince until his death, accurate down to the smallest detail.
I like that they also gave accuracy to the figure of Yinsi, halfway between historicity and Yongzheng's vision of him. I loved all the Princes again ❤️
Ending in line with the story, which opens on the window for Emperor Qianlong

PART 2 CRINGE FROM PART 1 - the power of domination

"watching people want to live when they have been taken captive, seems so pathetic in my eyes"

Part 2 always cringe. And my beloved Princess Qing, is right, it is pathetic indeed, to be a slave.
Always stupid and ridiculous characters, eithout any development and positive elements
The ministers are more reasonable and normal characters. You have been conquered, accept your fate as slaves and deportation.
Some of the useless characters lose their lives (finally).
The two protagonists are the same as the first episode of part 1, without development or maturity.
It is also annoying that they are still called "intruders" when we are almost completely conquered in China (end of 1642-1643). The Han of the Ming Dynasty would have the right to do so, not the slaves. How beautiful the market was❤️
The only nice thing is to see the Qing conquest after a few years, and the few Qing that are seen. CONQUEST POWER.
The Princess of the Qing Dynasty is the only decent woman, and decent character, in the whole drama, along with those of the Qing Dynasty. The drama, in the first part, deals with the years 1636-1637, in the second part 1642-1645.
The useless Crown Prince and Princess die, and they deserve it.
The ML protagonist remembers of creepy stalkers, it's as trashy as the drama (unwatchable). The story is not at all believable from any point of view ( what kind of behaviours??)
Princess Qing is literally the best, strong, pragmatic although kind-hearted. She much better than all the spineless Korean characters, both male and female. 0 courage.
Nonsense ending fanservice for the fans of an actor ( are they arelly actors?) who doesn't even know how to act, like the whole cast. Inaccuracy of the costumes can be clearly seen.
Not recommended at all. This is too comic relief.

I'm your future

"If one day I could really go back to the past, I wouldn't find myself. I would find you and tell you that I'm your future. The only one you can like. The only one you can love. "
The distress about the remake made me rewatch it.
This drama suffered a huge scandal when the final episode was leaked before airing (with an apology and a change in choice of ending, compared to the three in the script).
The story is intense, deep, with superb acting and beautiful cinematography.
I loved the intensity of the story, the characters, their complexity and their growth. There are a lot of positive messages, such as giving importance to mental health, the pro-LGBT message, if you have an emotional breakdown you need to ask for help and not underestimate it. Another message is also to give help to the most fragile and difficult adolescents.
The leads were wonderful in their roles, very skilled and able to be able to distinguish the characters by a glance, roles tailor-made for them.
I also loved Mo Junjie as second lead, because he is really best bro.
Throughout the whole drama there are small details to grasp to understand the plot and recognise the villain, but he is the character who makes it very clear how important should be caring about psychological disorder.
Meticulous attention to details.
Wonderful and intense OSTs, they won't leave your heart ❤️
it's a drama that makes you completely fall in love with the characters, all of them. Special mention to the adult, mature, sincere and willing to do anything relationship of Li Ziwei and Huang Yuxuan, because we all deserve a relationship like this ❤️ full of sincerity. of true love, of the desire to be close to each other, to support and protect each other.
The scene, both in the film and in the drama, where they argue, is due precisely to this.
Complete ending after seeing everything ( special scene + movie)

DON'T WASTE TIME IN TRASH

A cringe, trash, horrible adaptation of the Taiwanese masterpiece"Someday or one day".
The drama fails to be equal in the OST, charm, strength, intensity, acting and cinematography of the original masterpiece. The actors lack chemistry and are unable of getting into the character, the two protagonists in particular, where the change in character is almost not noticeable. FL is a psychopath, both adult and girl. Bad choices for the OSTs that are not strong enough to leave some impression , excessively modern
The bond between the three protagonists is non-existent, both shallow and lacking depth, with actors without charm. The flow of the story is totally altered, focusing on the love story rather than on intrigue and mystery, altering the balance of the original story. Balance that is missing until the end.
We can say it's not actor's fault, but they were a mismatch, and they were totally unable to feel the complexity of their characters.
And someone should explain to me, why the pro lgbt message from the original one, becomes a lovey dovey BL fairytale...
Don't waste time and watch the original.

it's a crazy trash and cringe drama, but typical of every Korean production, exploiting actors for success.
Set during the righteous and perfect Qing rule over Korea.
The warning "this story is about fictitious events" always makes me cringe, as it seems like Joseon never existed. Nice respect for history...
Already in the first episode we find something Koreans are very good at, erasing history to make themselves great. The Emperor... historically inaccurate since he was a coward.
Cultural appropriation of Chinese sewing techniques, Chinese hanfu. Phrases said to mock China, its history, its culture and its multi-ethnicity, because Korea is poor.
The story is absolutely ridiculous, out of context and the romance context completely unrelated to the real story. A cast of actors who can't act, the two protagonists too detached and modern compared to the historical context. The story lacks a balance between romance and historical context .
The two protagonists are cringe from episode to episode. Th side characters are ridiculous and lacks depth.
Historical inaccuracies every now and then.
Bad direction and camera, without color balance that make the visuals squalid.
It totally falls after half and the ending is bad and casual

BOYISH GROWTH AND VALUES

"Why are we fighting this war? For our country, for our nation, so that our families can live peacefully in this New China. Our duty is to defend our nation and our home"

The project took 5 years from initial concept to script, with filming beginning in December 2022 and then wrapping in April 2023.
In order to shoot some scenes, they shot at MINUS 40 DEGREES...
This is a political and propaganda drama, showing Chinese courage and bravery to sacrifice for their ideals and Korean ingratitude to turn away from them and serve the enemy.
I loved Wang Ziqi as Wanli ❤️ his growth and maturity shows throughout the drama as he bonds with his teammates. of the squad. I felt particularly close to Qianli though. This drama really makes you experience the real feelings and sensations on the skin, becoming more captivating and intense.
Between the cruelty of war and friendship, it was also suffering.
Melancholy but hopeful ending, realistic one, heartfelt one.
Honor to those martyrs.

THE ORIGINAL AND BEST ONE

Don't watch the foolish Korean adaptation. This original one is far better.
Unfortuntaley, a drama that suffers from the low budget (with one and only sponsor), but a masterpiece as a plot and as costumes. The story is captivating, a perfect mix of comedy and serious topics, romantic moments. This drama is a perfect example of LGBT content as a whole. We find various situations, bisexuality among others.
I loved the development, entering the heart of the love story, enters a darker and more difficult situation of power intrigue and struggle than in the first half of the story.
Sheng Yilun as Qi Sheng is absolutely wonderful ❤️ as cold, as charismatic and charming, and the delicate little gestures and sentences can pierce your heart. Zhang Tiana is perfect as Zhang Pengpeng, beautiful, determined, with a dominant and mature character, who also knows how to handle women. Her femininity does not diminish the strong, dominant character of the "man's heart".
The Princes have their own reasons, even Prince Zhao who basically has a very pure heart. Yue the classic "green tea" perfect in the role.
Two things I loved are the importance of sexuality in the story, in the relationships, and above all the crystal clear development in Qi Sheng's feelings. He perfectly knows the woman he fell in love with.
I loved how after towards the end, from episode 27 she can accept herself as a woman, and that from the next episode the male internal voice disappears ❤️ I also loved Pengpeng's love speech , that the love puts on the same level.
In addition to the happy ending, there are two other alternative endings with different perspectives always adult and mature, on the serious line of the drama. The spinoff is cute.
Watch this only, because it's a masterpiece despite everything.

DON'T WASTE YOUT TIME, WATCH THE ORIGINAL VERSION

This "Go Princess Go" adaptation is nothing compared to the original Chinese one. First of all, the main leads. Deleting the sexuality element is totally deleting the whole story and the main topic. FL doesn't know who he (she) is, ML doesn't know why he falls in love and with who he falls in love. The intrigue political scheme is non-existent.
There is no balance in comedy and seriousness, it's more like a parody ( when the beauty of the original is in their balance).
The modernity of the topics doesn't exist, it lacks the flavor of a new field.
It's bland, and the actors can't act. She is even not cute and nor elegant or femenine at all. Beauty doesn't exist. Their climb to understand who she really is to reign is deleted. I'm not surprised, when Korea is only able to ruin Chinese masterpiece making them a laughingstock.
The tragedy is 0.
Don't waste your time with this trash and watch "Go Princess Go".

waste of time

Lack of historical accuracy for the Great Qing ruling domination which should be honoured. Another mistake movie.
There is no plot, there is no development, no mood, no tension. No development for characters or the non-existent plot.
Only arrows casually fleeding everywhere. Action package casually with no logical sense.
A waste of time that i won't ever recommend to anyone. Except if you want to fry your brain... it's a full nonsense with bland characters not even possible to define it.

PSEUDO HISTORY AGAIN

This movie is a whole mess, a total wrong doing.
Lack of historical facts, lack of historical authenticity ( except that koreans were, and still are, so stupid that they didn't know any formation. In 1636.
This is one of the reason why Qing Dynasty dignified ruled in Korea, with a rightful conquest. In history, korea pretended to struggle, because they lacked any proper war tactics and techniques.
The movies shows that the fortress was an helpless way to struggle ( i would have preferred to show the General who fought after the King surrendered, to see Huang Taiji forgiving him and sending him back without any harm).
The King kneeling towards the rightful and good Great Qing could only be the only outcome.
They only accept their destiny of slaves, and it's not even nationalism of pride, it's even inferior that the ""Barbarians"" they fought, showing the real Barbarians is Korea itself.
And obviously, always cheering for our Great Qing.
