I wouldn't even call that fully a revenge he literally got away with horrible things by faking mental illness when he should get life sentence or death penalty and even has a girl by his side still at the end and will eventually be released some day so although he did win his factory back and whatever I still consider this drama among the bad guy wins somehow category

I would consider this a bad guy wins situation since his revenge wasn't really THAT bad he didn't even go to jail and faked his way into a mental institution which he will probably get out of eventually and he even has a girl lmao
and honestly I liked it better that way since do woo was my favorite character and i liked how charismatic and cunning he is and this ending makes him even more so ( especially with that last smile it was an amazing shot )

I miss him I hope we see him in another work soon

honestly watched this for kang woo and the villain was the only character interesting enough to me to care about. he really shined here

I LOVE The Mentalist (especially the main character) so I hope its at least a decent remake unlike some other american-korean remakes like criminal minds ( which was a horrible adaptation )

so far in ep 10 and honestly the romance is my least favorite part I just couldn't care less while everything minseok is my favorite lmao (although that might be biased) but his acting is so good and i missed him in dramas

I mean there are real serial killers with no real motives other than pleasure all around the world so imo they don't always need a motive and clearly here his only motive is his pleasure seeing the grieving family and making them think he is a good person while actually being the cause of death and i think thats fine

I mean actually min seok could really benefit from this role since he played a psycho villain so in the future more villain roles could be offered to him and honestly i want to see him in more

to start he rapes and to top it off he kills a lot at the very last chapter including best boy Jang soo T_T and was aiming at Nara but Chi yeol went in front of her but luckily Nara shot him before he managed to shoot Chiyeol. However, this traumatize everyone deeply especially Nara considering she killed a person (although he is less than an animal in my eyes). this is literally how the webtoon ends
