The creative, sensitive depiction of neurodivergence in this drama's storytelling is such a delight to see and…
Toto-chan used to be the icon for unconventional, out of the box thinking. Neurodivergence, as a catch-all term, has unfortunately been astroturfed in tandem with an outrageous injection schedule for K-12 since the 90s (US context.)

Very interesting to see that on MDL, information are pretty scarce concerning Japanese actors... I just came across…
Tabloids are made up bs. To demand serious consequences for serious issues, we need serious investigative journalism full of verifiable details. Innuendos and speculations presented as facts are not enough. From following the works and available footage, the reality may be the opposite IMO. Oguri is career/business first, above all.

Shocking end to that biography. Going her husband's dysautonomia, his nervous system was damaged by the spike protein in the C19 virus (SARS-CoV-2) whether by infection or injection.

Yes, it was released before the scandal. And no announcement about cancelling disc/digital releases so far.
If you betray your friend or romantic partner, do you now owe me (a stranger online and in the public) something? If you were famous, would the dynamic change? Physical and financial injuries have legal protection between you and a stranger in dispute. Hirosue's dispute is injuries to interpersonal relationships that don't involve us. If you must call it a moral injury, have you reached out to console her husband and children? If not, it's posturing online to feel a sense of moral superiority over her.

God, Tabe Mikako is a terrible actor, and a ridiculous choice for this role. She's a tiny. little girl attempting…
Her noodle arms choking him on the tatami like a wrestling match is funny though. Director Taguchi is a goof from some comedic relief he plays. The beatdown he got in the bathhouse is what he should've gotten in Saikou no Rikon, for that it's satisfying (other than the obvious for Mr Exhibitionist.)

This is an "yutori romance", much like Yutori Desu ga Nani ka (We're Millennials 2016.) The glaring difference is the gay stereotypes are very dated by 2026, while Yutori sticks to which parts of tradition still endured for the younger generation.

Ryoko, Go and Ryusei I do know that they are good actors but Yoshioka Hidetaka, he’s such a surprise. Where…
Yoshioka is probably the nation's favorite son (nephew) from the Torasan movie franchise. It's why he gets cast in "zeitgeist" roles that need some emotional weight of the subject.

Just finished eps 5, and this is really good. Like damn good. Ahead of it's time, still relatable. Quirky editing,…
The editing feels influenced by MTV, when they still had VJ talking back and forth with "on location" crews.

A grand masterpiece, right? It doesn't get better than this. Perfect fusion of tradition and contemporary. So good I wish the masters of Japanese comedy that have passed on could see it.

A character with a mental illness doesn't represent all married men. Do people stop watching Hollywood actors after they've done far worse?

It is about to be 2025 and it is crazy how Japan still does not want to make their art easily accessible to the…
Most indies that don't find an audience through film festivals (free publicity) or domestic box office don't have the budget to prepare it for non-domestic distribution. With streaming structure in place now, it's possible (but also risks making everything look the same shades of gray/greenish blue.)

a big mystery why a movie where a chinese character "joked" about japan's imperialism doesn't get a flack from…
He was insulting Japanese, actually. Maybe it wasn't enough from a Chinese POV. If only "did unthinkable things" isn't limited to Imperial Japan, but also what the average person suffers from any forces larger than themselves.
