I am after three episodes. I like how unromantic GW is. That's the only good thing I have to say about this drama. Thank you to everyone who ignores my comment.

Let's hope not. I know everyone is in a hurry to watch this drama, but it sometimes takes years to produce good special effects. If we get this drama too fast, it will be at the expense of production quality. Personally, I'd rather wait a little longer and get something beautiful than get something of poor quality in a hurry. A year of post-production for such a big fantasy drama is still very little.
The first license does not indicate a release date. It just says that shooting has ended and the raw footage has been approved as per the approved script. There is no music, special effects, sound effects etc yet. It's more of a vague check to see if the filmmakers wanted to sneak something inappropriate in.

In the first episode, a guy is in unimaginable pain and this scene is accompanied by silly music. A doctor and a serious businessman argue over a cup of coffee like five-year-old children and the doctor deliberately puts a slimy finger in his coffee. That's the kind of drama I can't survive.
The cinematography is weak. The dialogues are terribly bland. The music not only doesn't enhance the scene but totally ruins it. I feel sorry for
Park Hae Jin for being ML in something so weak.

The first thing I do in the morning is check the Weibo of Xiao Zhan's "fan club". Today, I'm crying with happiness. Who would have thought that I really want to watch this drama. And the new trailer is so funny even without translation!

Although I was very disappointed by the last arc and especially the ending, I understand and accept the writers' explanation. This was their first project of this type, so they made a mistake. Their mistake, in my opinion, was that they wanted to please the audience too much and went with the usual, cliché patterns. It's not their fault. There's some advice on a certain platform for writers owned by a Chinese company: "see what's currently selling and do something like that." The Chinese market simply urges you to repeat the same patterns. A young novelist or screenwriter's hands are tied. If they want to sell their work, they have to go with the established patterns. That's why we have dozens of trite dramas about eternal love where nothing meaningful happens and the characters only sigh, sacrifice themselves and die for love. And that's why the excellent drama The Autumn Ballad turned into this little cliché for children at the end.
But I hope the filmmakers will learn a lesson from this experience and we will soon get more dramas in the style of the middle part of TAB, which was brilliant.

The last six episodes are a total drop in quality of a really great drama. The last episode filled me with such distaste - the stupidity of FL and ML has no limits! - that my rating drops 2 points down. The last episode is not only unnecessary, but it spoiled the whole series for me and something I really enjoyed turned into a little nightmare that I won't return to. I am profoundly disappointed. To spoil a good drama like that! Unforgivable!

I cried, but it wasn't anything terrible. Knowing the personalities of the characters in episode 29 I expect some laughs :)

Why don't guys like Liang Yi exist in the real world? And if they do exist, why haven't I met any? A man shouldn't moan and sigh under an ever-blooming peach tree and assert his love, he should act, just like Liang Yi.

If you mean the police/detective one I've heard rumors about, I join in and include a request for the series to have 40 episodes of XZ as a brilliant detective. I can just see him in that role.

No, they aren't. I don't know about her, but Xiao Zhan as an actor is independent (as a singer he belongs to Wajijiwa). Xiao Zhan had a loose contract with Xinli, which is affiliated with Tencent, now Xiao Zhan is quite close with Tencent, but Xiao Zhan does not belong to any brokerage agency for actors. He has been looking for work on his own since 2018, as he previously appeared in several projects together with his boy band mates as part of his group's promotion. It can be said that as an actor, Xiao Zhan is a freelancer.

The Dark Lord - A comedy with a slightly smaller budget, so not as spectacular, but ML is awesome, smart, clever and has great adventures, plus specific, excellent humor and some absolutely satisfying scenes. A different style of filmmaking.

Ancient Detective - Similar shooting style to JoL, similar costumes, pretty cool quality wuxia with intelligent dialogue, less humor, but quality very good.

Tribes and Empires - very good quality, lots of politics and amazing adventures, three ML because they are stories about 3 young guys to whom a certain prophecy applies. Since there are three protagonists, there is someone for everyone. Court intrigues, power struggles, the vast outdoors. Epic story, sometimes it gets long but I recommend it.

Novoland Eagle Flag - similar in style to Tribes and Empires, a lot of politics, young heroes involved in kings scheming, wise and resourceful.

Douluo Continent - I give because of the "western" style, very similar to JoL. Original music. Reminds a bit of anime with actors. Not much politics (hardly any) rather the growth of a few characters, but same screenwriter as JoL, and I see similarities in dialogues, wit and style of scenes.

It was some channel on YT. I don't follow it, so I don't know if it was reliable. Something like a list of k-dramas and supposed premiere dates. The channel didn't give a specific date. Maybe in his country July is still late spring :)? For me, July 13 is ok.

I've seen all the dramas with Ji Sung. "Kill Me, Heal Me" is my favorite, but I watched "The Enterteiner" earlier and that one totally captivated me.
Actually, the first one a few years ago was Defendent, but I guess I was too young and that drama was too disturbing for me. Although I admired the actor, the drama was too heavy for me. Now I like it a lot.
I personally prefer Ji Sung in more spectacular roles with a hint of craziness. I hope we'll see something like that in "Adamas".

P.S. I miss Park Perry. And Ah Yoo Na :(

I heard somewhere that the release is supposed to be late spring or early summer. It's Korea, not China, so chances are we'll see this baby in a few months. I honestly can't wait :) There are too few actors who can act as charmingly and convincingly as Ji Sung. (Sorry, he charmed me a few months ago in The Entertainer and I'm in a phase of deep admiration for his acting talent)

Exactly, romance is romance, thriller is thriller. I like fried fish and I like apple pie, but I don't necessarily like apple pie stuffed with fried fish :)

I liked this drama from the first episode, but now I'm in love.... with the main male character. Ah, that scene in episode 14! Don't ask what scene, just watch it!
