Assault and battery

I really like the intensity of our polar opposite leads but I have issues with the editing, it’s choppy and lacks flow. If there’s a slow burn, this series is the opposite, a fast burn. everything is rushed and harried. add to that the drinking scenes leading to their erotic but felt neurotic NC scene. the trope of the drunk and doninatrix erotic scenes is beginning to wore me out. Their history is muddy at best and how this couple who’s fire is barely a light match suddenly end up in bed. I’ll continue watching because the script got me curious, but I would prefer they spend more time on content instead of NC scenes so we can have some depth.

Explosive

Damn if this episode doesn’t get you to see what this show will become. Careful when you let the dog out it can bite hard and it did. And it’s just episode 3. Oh my…

the kiss that could light the room

This pair deserves the award for the best BL kiss I’ve ever seen. It was so intense that I could almost feel the electricity filling the room. Absence truly does make the heart grow fonder, and the reunion carried all the longing that had been quietly building. What stood out even more, however, was the recurring metaphor of coffee and tea. Coffee on one hand, tea on the other—two contrasting drinks reflecting two contrasting souls. One is bold, intense, and invigorating; the other gentle, calming, and contemplative. This subtle but elegant comparison of their opposing personalities feels like the emotional center of the series, reminding us that love often flourishes not despite our differences, but because of them.

The let down episode

Just when things started closing this episode was a letdown in storytelling. They should have finished at episode 7. Now they tried to add more twists to generate two more episodes whereas they could have closure on the real traitors of the story. Sometimes it’s better to stop when the going is good.

One of the best BL episodes ever…

This episode is so explosive (no pun intended) as the story builds up to its climax. I truly enjoy the scenes with the female director and the conversations about life and death…so much so I want to rewatch the dynamics between Sun and the Director. It s so crucial in Sun’s realization of what truly matters. But the scene in the rain where he runs toward Arthur, as he gives in to his emotions was the crucial part of his awakening. And what about that intimate scene? What did I just saw or maybe I shouldn’t have seen? It was intense, painful yet tears of joy. Whew. Let’s end the series here.

Changqing’s story is getting old

The story of Changqing’s obsession should have ended several episodes before as all other Princes moved on and shortened the episodes. There wasn’t anything earth shattering about this last few episodes anyway.

A good start but I need to rewatch

It’s a great first episode with several characters introduced but can be confusing, editing is challenging though the storyline kept me interested. I was confused at first as to who is whom until it started making senses. But the series is definitely worth continuing.

The forces of love

Episode 8 begins to show more of our leads’ character. Changyang’s two-year obsession for Qianlang, his focus in planning their eventual relationship. The pain that Qiantian’s past and his acting in this episode needs recognition. The reality of Chinese culture where being gay is not generally accepted by society and parents’ expectations from their children to marry and to bear children. Because it’s a society that averages 1 child per family the pressure is steep to keep the lineage going. Other societies may not have this intense pressure but this is China. And not addressing this matter in this series would just have made this a Cinderella story.

Near death injury fatigue

I’m just getting really tired of the repeated injuries and near death and not closer to where this show is going. My energy is getting low and need a pick me upper.

The weak hero

It’s nice to see their relationship growing though I’m still lost why and what they see in each other. And how can a cop turned lawyer cannot fight a woman holding a knife. It’s just so lame.

The path we choose

Episode three is the start of the two path out lovers takes, whether by choice or not. Though awkward as it may be these experiences happens frequently to separated lovers. But I can sense their path will be challenged due to difference in status. This was a time when Thailand’s royalty was losing the people’s trust and communism was the gaining ground across Asia. The French idealism education of Phob along with his painful past may lead to his desire for freedom from the existing rulers, which creates the tension between his love for Prince Tin versus his desire for freedom of the people from the ruling royalties.

A mother’s love

A mother’s love is easily misunderstood, the bond of a mother and child is the strongest force in the world. But sometimes the passion youth can blind right from wrong. This episode dwells in the youthful passion of our two protagonists and consequences that follows. Beautifully and artfully told specially the intimate scenesI only wish they would reduce the frequent use of the theme music.

Another master and servant story

Though their history was shown in a limited way it was enough to demonstrate the depth of their friendship which is their foundation for love. It is no denying a master and servant relationship but not in the form of a slave, but genuine friendship.

Not what I expected

Though I don’t find any chemistry in their relationship (just my personal feelings) the story is very intriguing. And without knowing anything about the manga this two is captivating in their own way. Not your typical CEO trope.

the suspense is killing me

If the first episode is this fascinating full of intrigue and mystery, I can only imagine the rest of the series and I hope the writer can sustain the suspense, it’s killing me in a good way.
