I started my Asian drama love affair with A Korean Odyssey 화유기 and it's basically expanded exponentially since.

Who I associate with, and whom I choose NOT to associate with... both off and online, is my choice.  That said, If I see any users trash-talking, bashing, or trolling any celebrity, MDL user,  or project: WELCOME TO MY BAN/IGNORE LIST.  I have zero qualms about immediately blocking someone for this behavior, because I have no desire to see that kind of crap, ever.  

So, if you've found that you can't reply to a comment of mine and want to know why... ask yourself what flavor of posts and comments that you're in the habit of leaving.  Therein,  will your answer lie.

My Grammie always used to tell me not to associate with people who talk down about others.  Because if they're speaking nastily of others, they're talking about you too.  She was and still is 100% spot on.

I never board any cancel-culture wagons.  If an artist I like  is found guilty by a court of law (not the media  nor netizens) of committing a serious criminal act,  I will simply leave their fandom.  I won't become a hater, I will simply walk... away... End of story.   However, if it is because an artist has become dependent on narcotics, I will not abandon them, because I hope, so much, that they can and will get the help they need to overcome their addiction(s).   Drug addiction, alcoholism, and gambling addiction are self-destructive illnesses and suffering individuals should get treatment.  They should not, however, become gossip fodder in addition to their internal suffering.

If an artist I like is photographed smoking, drinking, partying, or on a date with someone (of any gender), IDGAF because that is THEIR LIFE and not my business.  I love them for their art, but we neither have the right to to poke our noses into their private lives, nor to judge them.  They have a right to peace in their private life away from "their job".  They have a right to be happy, have fun and be in love... Just like the rest of us.

They also have the right to make mistakes, fall down and get back up.  After all, they're human... Same as you and I.

If someone feels they have the right to throw hate at celebrities for living a normal life away from "their job"... They are NOT a fan.  They are, in fact,  an obsessed individual.  If they stalk and hunt down proof of their private lives and/or fabricate stories for the purpose of causing their reputation harm, they are haters, anti-fans and sasaengs.  I just refer to them, in a nutshell, as "toxic netizens".  People who are of sound mind and judgement, simply don't do these types of things.

There is a line between public persona and private life that we as fans should recognize, and not cross.

Respect the personal boundaries of others (and I literally mean everyone's not just celebrity's), because everyone deserves to enjoy the peace of their very limited private time.

I don't know how you all feel, but me personally... I want the artist(s) that have brought me so much peace, joy, happiness and fun through their works, to be truly happy themselves.
