That person just wrote a comment about how happy they are with the cast of Wi Ha Jun for this drama, but have doubts about Park Min Young fitting this role, while clearly stating that they could have a great surprise once the drama aired. That's it.

Then you attacked them with slander and diffamation. Their comment isn't misogynistic, they just stated a preference. Why raving like that ? So many people on MDL can't accept that others can have a different opinion. If they had insulted or defamed Park Min Young it would have been fine to answer back something regarding the "hate" or "negativity", but here the only "hate" and "negativity" I see is from you. This is insanity, clearly. Typical hysterical behaviour of blinded fans.

People are free to express their opinions and they shouldn't be attack for them. You can disagree and express it, but why the need to use attacks and insults ? That's exactly the behaviour that is making the comments sections on this website so malign.

I plan to watch the drama as I love Jun Young and his acting, and I think he will not disappoint in this role. But, as I already mentioned when the first news of this project with him came out, he doesn't really fit the "vigorous fitness enthusiast" image of the character, at least for me. Jun Young has a lean fit body, but I would have imagined someone more buffed for this role, like Woo Do Hwan or Wi Ha Jun, for examples.

Indeed, I don't care if people read Koreaboo or not, but seeing articles here just copying a Koreaboo article to write trash and attract attention is baffling me. If MDL wrote every single news about every single actor who has a page on this website, fair enough (even though they would need an armada of writers to do so...), but they only write articles like this sometimes because they know it will attract attention for the author, whose also biased on the subject. If this actor was removed from the cast of a movie or drama, or when the whole scandal is "over" to summarise what happened, I would understand an article on the subject, but if they write an article like this everyday just to quote tabloids news it's only trash. I'm sure some people will like but MDL is not here for that.

In the same time they not report on dozen, hundreds of news about actors, movies and dramas just because it doesn't concern a favourite actor of the "writers" or because they don't have interest in it.

People like you are the problem nowadays. I criticised MDL for using a website and the type of "journalism" they do, and you straight up attack me, personally, for my opinion. If you like Koreaboo, that's good for you, I'm not attacking you for it or saying you're trash because you read or like Koreaboo. So why attacking me for my opinion ? As I clearly wrote, I really don't care about this actor and what happens to him, I do understand if one article was made if he was casted out of a drama or movie, but here they are just copying what is written in Koreaboo (which is trash news for me because they only rely on "scandals" to live and is always biased on the way they report news about Korean social issues), but here it's only trash scandal news for attracting attention.

On the contrary, "writers" here ignore a lot of interesting news about actors, movies and dramas just because it's not their favourites actors or don't care about because it doesn't concern big shots. I totally don't care about this actor, but now MDL is quoting openly Koreaboo, also known as the trash of Korean entertainment news, for "news" articles here ?! Three articles in one day for this actor when you not even report on casting news for movies or dramas for other actors sometimes. Are people here for dramas and movies or for cheap tabloid news ? I used "Dune" as an example of science-fiction movie because it's recent and well known, but it's not necessarily this type I want to see Chang Wook plays in. It could be anything, even something like "Star Wars" or something more simple, but some intergalactic science-fiction type could be nice, yes. Not something you can expect from Korea though, that's why I hope he can get recognition internationally for his acting through more movies, so that maybe he works for an International production too someday.

I would like to see him play in another sageuk (historical production), but a movie this time. I would love to see him play in a thriller (movie or drama), some kind of psychopath character, I think it would be amazing to watch if the story is well done. I also really want to see him play in a science-fiction movie or drama (something like "Dune", for example). And finally, I want to watch him play a father role, whatever the genre or the story, I think it's an aspect of him we need to see too.

It doesn't matter for me, I just don't like zombie stories. ^^ But I still watch some when there is a good enough reason, and Chang Wook is definitely one.

Unfortunately no, but the two previous zombie movies of Yeon Sang Ho were released in cinemas here, so I hope this one will too just so I can finally watch Chang Wook on a big screen. ;)

Although I'm not into zombie movies at all, I appreciate that Chang Wook tries different genres and type of characters to expand his acting experience and filmography and show the amazing range of his talent. And I'm really looking for him playing in a new movie (hopefully I can watch him on the big screen where I live too), I'm sure that is what will bring him the International recognition he deserves, rather than dramas (even if I like seeing him in dramas with many episodes too ^^).

That could be nice indeed, but I would rather see him trying something new and different first as he already portrayed a prosecutor/lawyer.

Your first comparison is clearly overboard. First because I only expressed a personal opinion about an actor in a drama, it's nothing like bullying, and secondly because the said actor will probably never see and read my comment, and even if, by some incredible chance it happens, I doubt my mere opinion about his acting in this drama will make him want to take his life.

I have seen him in many different dramas and I always find his acting terrible (except in "SKY Castle"), so I personally don't think the script is only at fault here. That's only my opinion, based on my tastes and experiences. If you disagree and think he is a great actor, good for you, it's not necessary to over react just because someone else don't share your opinion. It's a very childish and immature reaction that we always see from some fans on internet unfortunately.
