I have a question, when Ji Chang wook's character is killed in the beginning of the drama then why have they mentioned…
King Gogukcheon (Ji Chang Wook) was never presented as the main male character of the drama. It's the main minister Eul Pa So (Kim Mu Yeol) who was from the beginning. But the plot is focused on the battle for the throne after King Gogukcheon's death (it's not specified what was the cause of his death), so of course it's a central character of the story.

What?? It isnt even out yet...?
At least have the decency to quote people correctly.
I wrote "for me". It means a different thing than writing the drama of the year alone. One is a personal opinion, the other a statement, a universal truth. Definitely not the same meaning.
You really are a sad little person seeing the way you act here with these mean comments for no reason.

Well, they are all playing "dead guy" as it is a drama based on events and people who lived 1800 years ago...I…
Oh poor thing. If you can't accept a comment that question yours, why post on a public forum ? People are so weird.
As for the last part, I wrote "if" in my comment. But your answer just doesn't make sense, because if you are not a fan of Ji Chang Wook, why are you so concern about watching a drama where is character dies early in the story ? What's the point of that comment ?

I hope its bad :D
Oh, poor thing. First of all, you can disagree without being vulgar and offensive. And then, I wrote "The drama of the year for me.". You see, the "for me" is important here, it's only my opinion (and I don't think you are in my head to know why I think that without having watch it yet), and it's not intended that I think that everybody should share this opinion.
But keep being aggressive and slur for no reason, seems you have big anger issues to be this mean here for no reason.
The pest that is welcome to be you momentary punching-ball.

This wall of text complaining about complaints is ironic
It is, indeed, now that you point it out, but not intended.

I don't get people. They complain about the number of episodes, they complain about the actress playing the queen, they complain about the plot, they complain about the trailer, they complain about the actor playing the king, etc.
Come on ! If you don't like the plot, the actors, don't watch and go your way. Of course everybody is free to express an opinion, but at least be constructive. What's the point to complain about something that is set, and thus won't change ( you don't like it ? move on), or complain about something that hasn't happened yet so you don't know anything (wait and see if you like it or not, it's good or not, then complaint or compliment).
I am super excited for this drama (I have been for months), as a sageuk, as an epic sageuk, as a sageuk that takes place during Goguryeo period, as a drama with Chang Wook, as the first sageuk of Chang Wook since "Empress Ki", as a sageuk with a great cast, as a sageuk with a unique plot never seen before. But no, here people are ruining the mood with endless complaints about meaningless things. So annoying.

Instead of Mr queen people should add in recommendation Empress kiQueen seon deok Dong YiThey are pretty similar…
Exactly, I don't know who put this dumb recommendation here. The plot is known from the start, this epic sageuk is nothing like a rom/com sageuk.

So JI chang wook is playing dead guy ? what is point of watching it when Ji Chang Wook die at start
Well, they are all playing "dead guy" as it is a drama based on events and people who lived 1800 years ago...
I don't understand the complaint honestly. It's not because a character dies early in the story that the character cannot be interesting and important to the story. It's better to watch and judge after to see if it was interesting, or not.
And if you're a fan of Chang Wook, you should be happy to see him acting and deliver his performance through a new character.

RIP to long sageuk epics - lol.
It's been a while already unfortunately. All we get now are rom/com sageuk. I'm already happy that this is an epic one. ^^

The trailer was dominated by JCW and he looks mind blowing! It’s amazing how he is able to look like a different…
I don't think it's right to assume he will only appear at the beginning of the show. He is presented from the start as one of the main actors of the cast, thus is character will have much more importance and appearance than just the beginning I guess, probably through throwbacks, as Koreans love to do that. But we will see in a month what exactly it is.
And it makes sense to see him this much in the trailer, because it's his character death that is the starting point of the story told in these 8 episodes. It will be a short, compact and full of action story. A race for the throne.

On His Man Season 3 Jul 14, 2024
Just watched the 8 episodes that aired so far and I'm still not sure if I find this season interesting or not. The format of this show keeps bothering me, because you really can't expect anything serious with such a short format, and everything is too much exaggerated.
The focus on the drama between Yeong Jun and Myeong Gyun in the last episode for example. Yeong Jun is definitely a type of person I dislike because he is very "loud" to express himself, but seems to assume to always be right, and that everyone else thinks like him. He lacks empathy to try to understand others for me. As for Myeong Gyun, as many Koreans, he lacks the ability to say things straightforwardly so that others will understand him better, so of course people can misjudged what he says or thinks our doubt his sincerity even if he really is. In the end, they just don't seem good for each others and didn't ended their relationship well because it was never properly ended, even if they weren't a couple yet. One assumed that the other understood and it wasn't important, the other didn't expressed himself properly and kept thinking about it and seems hurt about all that. So nobody is a bad guy, they are just two imperfect people who are not suited for each others. Next episode will probably, and hopefully, clear things so we don't dwell on it until the end.

I like him and find him interesting, even the most interesting one amongst all the participants of "His Man Season 3", but I think he lacks confidence or don't know how to say things straightforwardly (which is a common thing in Korea actually), and thus can make others agressive (like episode 8 showed) or confused about him, which is a little bit sad. He seems the type of people you need to know well to not misjudge what he says or thinks.

They did it again. Japanese are the only ones that can make such sad yet good stories. It's really liberating to watch this. It's like feeling a weight on our soul being lifted. I love it. And this one confirms that Ren is definitely one of my favourite actors. Whatever the character he plays-, he is amazing, but he is especially good portraying this kind of characters, full of complexed emotions.

I'm very happy for him (his man is quite lucky ^^) , and for his couple with Tul, they look good together and they really seem like a good match. The way they revealed and confirmed the suspicions around them was also very cool. They deserve the best, and I hope they will be happy together for the longest time. Now I can't wait even more to see Mew in all his projects.
