He has already nailed the role visually for me. All the pictures of him as King Lee Heon are gorgeous and I think he fits the role perfectly. I'm also sure he will do a really good job at portraying this multi-faced character, even though I guess I won't be very excited by this fusion sageuk story around food. Hopefully it will still be an entertaining watch.

Both actors are good but I'm mostly excited by the plot. Finally something very original for a sageuk ! I'm really looking forward to this story, especially since it will be based on real historical characters and events. I hope they will be faithful to the sources and don't try to make it too "extravagant" for the big screen, as most of sageuk films have been for the last few years.

If you think that was a bad kiss, I do not recommend Stay by my side after the rain. Those were even worse. beside…
I saw it already, very bad too indeed.

Title Trigger
Quite predictable and cliché in the end. It's not bad, the realisation is very good and the cast excellent, it also makes you think on the subject, but it's not a revolutionary take on it neither and it's very Korean in the story and actions developments.

Kim Young Kwang is very charismatic in this role and quite sexy in his own way (despite the weird looking tattoos ^^), he confirms all the good I think of him and deserves praises once again for his acting. Park Hoon gave us an anthology bare-assed bathhouse fight scene. Woo Ji Hyun left a strong impression on me with his great acting. And Park Yoon Ho is a good (and very handsome) revelation for me, I'm looking forward to his future roles.

From episode 10 the drama definitely lost some of his previous appeals for me. The story developments didn't feel as good and the writing kind of "sloppy" after. The last two episodes were still good, but not as good as the first 9 episodes of the drama unfortunately.

This is by far one of the best representations of Korean shamanism. They did it very well and I was really impressed with the realism it was portrayed in the drama, and by the quality of the CGIs used too.

The cast was brilliant in this one, all the cast, even the small roles. But I watched this drama for Choo Young Woo and he definitely not disappointed me and was the best. He is an amazing actor and his portrayal of two characters in the same body once again was perfect. I admire him more and more after each of his roles. 2025 is definitely his year.

So ? What's your point ?You do realise it was in January 2024 ? Only obsessed anti-fans keep bringing minor issues…
Well, first you don't answer my question (What's your point ? I am genuinely asking because I don't see the reason for your comment, except blind hatefulness), and then you are rambling about a similar case I'm not even aware of, implying sexism as if I wrote something about that person's case, when it's the first time I hear about it. Hello ? Is this cuckoo world ? Do you realise how crazy and stupid this all looks like ?

but he vaped during drama filming in front of junior actors and full of staffs in the room
So ? What's your point ?

You do realise it was in January 2024 ? Only obsessed anti-fans keep bringing minor issues like that over time. You should seriously find a hobby because doing this is very concerning.

the last two episodes will be heavily based off the webtoon ending so don't have high expectations for the happy…
But I never wrote I was expecting a happy ending. I am not the kind of person who think a good ending means a happy ending for the characters, it depends on the story.

Big time skips in dramas are one of the tropes I dislike the most because often, for me, it kills the dynamics build between the characters, but they also feel really off because they make huge time skips look like nothing in the same time. It will be three years here ? Bet it will feel like 3 months but the characters will not be the same at all.

Ah... Unfortunately it seems this drama is really falling in the category of the stories ruined in the last episodes because of an easy/bad writing. I'm quite doubtful regarding the last episodes. It was so good... But let's wait and see next week.

Also, this comment section looks like a kindergarten. People are so invested in the characters. They are not real people. Most of people here talk about the characters like they are real, so weird. There is a difference between giving an opinion about a drama, the story, the characters, and being too emotionally invested with fictional persons. If you start to lash out at someone just because they express a different opinion about a fictional character in a drama, I really think you are lacking fresh air.

i'm finding it very weird how people are calling this bad writing, because i thought it actually has very good…
The outcome was obvious and I don't mind it, it's the story development to go there that is lacking. It's good if it's not bothering you but if there are so many people thinking differently, it's quite patronising to dismiss their opinions by saying they are just not satisfied with the outcome but the writing has no problem.

Pyo Ji Ho' actions are just stupid in episode 10. We see him peek at Yeom Hwa in the distances and knowing she is a bad shaman, but the next thing he does is go for help to her ? When he could have gone to the others shamans ? Well, for me it's bad (and easy) writing. Yeom Hwa could have find the ring differently, and it was obvious since the first episodes that the General would sacrifice her life one way or another at some point, so it's not the outcome the problem here. Lock her ? Yes, that's a great idea, and they did in the previous episodes, so why suddenly letting her roam free ? Again, easy writing for the sake of the story when they could have find something clever. But it could have needed more episodes for further development that way. One hundred people had to bee sacrificed for that evil spirit to take over Bae Gyeon Woo's body, lock the person responsible for that and not let her easily escape and do bad things would have make more sense for most people.

It's 12 episodes so it was easier to choose that path, but it's, for many, obviously bad writing just for the sake of the story.

LMAO. Came back to read comments and y'all are so pissed. They set up the light and fluffy so well, had folks…
"I might not like the outcomes but all the characters have stayed on beat." I don't agree with that. Pyo Ji Ho' actions are just stupid in episode 10. Well, for me it's bad (and easy) writing. Yeom Hwa could have find the ring differently, and it was obvious since the first episodes that the General would sacrifice her life one way or another at some point, so it's not the outcome the problem here, at least not for me, it's really the story development that made some characters suddenly dumb for the sake of the story.

Wow! Then I am not sure I should watch episode 10 today. Maybe I should wait until next week and watch 10 through…
It's up to you, maybe you will be okay with the story development, not everyone is disappointed by it. ;)

It's actually funny because with his role in "Head over Heels", it's actually his third role in less than a year, after "Mercy for None" and "The Tale of Lady Ok", where he is showcasing his talent for double or two faced characters. He is really good at that. And I'm really glad his talent is shining through and is being known even more with every new drama he plays in.
