I agree, but fantasies don't necessarily excludes realism neither. I have watched and loved many BLs that are total fantasies but still feel realistic to me. But of course it depends on what realism is for someone, because the definition can vary from a person to another. I never wrote that others can't have or believe in such fantasies in my comment, all the contrary, just that for me this one don't work and is too far off reality.

I don't get why people can't accept that others can have and express a different opinion without immediately excluding it. It's just dramas and movies, not life and death matters, everybody has different tastes and can express it. Discussing it is one thing, but immediately dismissing others opinions isn't correct. To me it's that behaviour that is very triggering. How insecure someone can be that they feel the need to tell others not to watch something just because they expressed a negative opinion about it ? As I wrote before, your comment reminded me that there is no point trying to interact here most of the time, because unlike what people pretend to be (open-minded, welcoming, tolerant, etc.), they can't stand others having different opinions and can't just debate respectfully about it, they always have to be patronising and push others away. Well, there are so many men or women exactly cast for movies and dramas just because of their looks, and so many people always complaining about it here on MDL, that it is really funny to read this.

I do, and I have never seen the combo you mentioned, so I guess it's maybe 1% of what's done in this genre, making it indeed strange.

That story is all over the place but well, with such attractive men as Kenji Fan and Martin Wong it doesn't really matter. ^^ Their profile pictures here don't do them justice, they are much more handsome in the drama, and their bodies are fire, juste like the chemistry between them.

A lot of real people could fit the role more. Just look up Jay Cai Zhenhao. He is a model that is the perfect image of an handsome, tall, muscular and very masculine alpha from the Omegaverse. An actor like Yu Shi would be perfect to portray an alpha too. So it's not impossible, it's just that they are unwilling or unable to cast the right men for the roles. I lean more for unwilling because they know that with their targeted audience being young women, the idol type will be more successful.

None of these actors look like an alpha from the Omegaverse. Where is the tall, muscular and very masculine man that is supposed to be the alpha ? These men all look too pretty for any one of them to be credible as an alpha.

No editing but still postponed to "deliver a perfect viewing experience" ? Seriously, what do they take people for ? It's so stupid. They should have not started it in the first place, or just release everything in one time, if they were not sure of how things would go. That is such a big irresponsible move from all the production team of this drama.
And the crazy fans harassing the actors... seriously, this country is really sick in so many ways.

There is definitely no way such a thing could have been written by a male brain. Sometimes I'm really hopeless with how far BL writers fantasies can be from reality, while still trying to make their stories pass as realistic.

I really didn't expected it to be this interesting and this good before starting it. They have developed the shamanism theme in this drama so well. The best I have seen so far. And the production is flawless. The CGIs for that fight against the faceless ghosts were perfect, on par with a high budget film. I was so impressed considering I'm often disappointed by special effects in Korean dramas. I am usually annoyed by the mix of different genres but here they have balanced it so well. The comedic parts don't feel annoying at all or misplaced in the middle of the fantasy intrigue, they come at the right moment, just like the romantic arc. And of course there is the cast. Not a single one of the actors feels lacking here, all the contrary, they all deserve praises. I have been head over heels for Choo Young Woo and Kim Mi Kyung for a long time now, so I'm delighted by their performances here, but all the others actors are brilliant too. Cho Yi Hyun is on point in every scene, Cha Kang Yoon and Choo Ja Hyun are good revelations for me, Yoon Byung Hee, that could be playing an annoying stereotype character, is perfect in his role, and even others actors playing secondary roles are really enjoyable here.

I'm really happy to be watching this one. It's been a while since I have been so satisfied by a drama. I hope it will stay like this until the end.

Thus my comment after on the diffamation and slander and my next comments in response to WolfSoul comments. I will use a very stupid but easy comparison. Even though I'm sure that this comparison will not please you. If the subject was an actor that wants to play a vegetarian role, and someone would wrote as a comment "lets just stop with all of that", would that means he hates vegetarians, or vegetables ? Maybe he is just tired of seeing this subject on screen. That's his right. In any case, he didn't wrote, "exterminate the vegetarians" or "burn all vegetables". In that case, yes, you could clearly call him out for being hateful or vegephobic. Thus, wether you agree or not, you can't just slander or defame him because he has a different opinion than you of the subject.

But I guess we clearly can't agree because I can't stand people like you that think so highly of themselves that they always tell others to educate themselves on subjects people just don't agree with them. For me it shows how narrow-minded and stupid someone can be. I come from a background where real tolerance is at the core of our education, even when people think something we strongly disagree with, but obviously that's not your case as it seems that tolerance and understanding only is for people that agree with you.

Exactly my point before. From the start, because someone didn't agree with you, you assume they need to be educated on this subject. I never expressed any clear opinion nor shown my knowledge on this subject. So what do you know ? From the beginning my only point is that you can't slander or defame someone just because they expressed a different opinion. People who shoot "xxxphobic" all the time to anyone that express a different opinion are actually very harmful to the real people who suffer from direct homophobia or transphobia, by diminishing the importance of these words.
