GMMTV has some of the best actors in Thai BL

GMMTV has some of the laziest series producers in Thai BL.

The actors are doing a good job portraying the roles they were given.

The problem is GMMTV.

Have you noticed the second series of a popular BL Pairing is often subpar (below average)?

I think producers take advantage of their pairing's popularity to make money with subpar series.

" BoatOat" is having the same issue with "Knot", coming after the successful series " My Stubborn".

Smart BL pairings make sure their series have a good storyline and high-quality production, for example: " PondPhuwin".

AugustLeng is my new fav BL pair.

This series is underrated.

I read all kinds of comments on MDL; everyone is allowed to state their opinions, comments, questions, etc.

I fell in love with MaxNat in Cutie Pie and Naughty Baby.

But I have been struggling to stay engaged because I don't get their humor.

Their rom-coms just seem silly to me. They are not very funny, and I can't relate to this show

I'm so upset. Max is great with serious, moody roles. I hope the show dynamic changes when they get off the island.

I do not like GMMTV shows either. So predictable, with bad kissing and boring NC scenes.

I could not agree with you more. Thanks for the in-depth review. I read your reviews and comments all the time. I wish we could get a second season.

I'm just going to wait and binge this one. I can't watch these short episodes week to week. Sometimes I don't even watch them because the stories are usually hollow without depth.

Me too but to be fair the writers are doing a good job keeping the plot realistic. So let's see how the resolve this sad state of affairs. Both m/m leads have stayed true to character.

Sometimes happy endings are unrealistic and impossible to believe. With all these two have been through, breaking up was the only realistic option at the point.

Maybe Phop gets an amazing redemption arc that can make Prince Thinnakon love him again. But most people in Prince Thinnakon situation would never trust Phop again, love without trust cannot grow and want last.

So it will be interesting to see how this series plays out, will the ending be realistic or unbelievable.

This is an all around good series, everyone involved has done fantastic, I hope they finish strong.

In my opinion Phop choose his convictions and aspirations for change, which is good but he betrayed Prince Thinnakon and doesn't deserve his love or trust.

I don't want a happy ending for this pair. My opinion is just that, I'm sure they will find away to give them a happy ending but will it be believable?

I like Leng, Ohm, and August. So my opinion is not biased. Leng is doing much better in this series. He looks much happier. He looked so stressed in Kidnap. I think all that " toxic fan drama" was affecting him. I am happy to see him move on to something better.
