It was alright. The FL I felt was too "cold", too much of a warrior and never let her guard down really. The fight…
While I get where you come from... I disagree. I hate cold leads, be it ML or FL. In this show FL is sweet with ML since very early. I hate shows where one of the leads dont show his love for the other, like for example strong woman do bo soong. You will never see her looking at him with lovely eyes, or yearning for being with him or anything. FL in this show on the other hand, is constantly looking at him, constantly wants to be with him, and the few times they are apart we see her thinking about him all the time. Thats not being cold. She just has a more serious composure. And even more, she always likes when ML jokes around.
After 20 episodes, I have a few issues with this drama so far. I'm writing an essay at this point.- I feel like…
I enjoyed it far more after episode 20. First of all they are sweeter together Second, in the first part they present us so many characters and factions I didnt care about. After episode 20, the story focuses more on the main characters.
Read some nice comments on reddit, but after reading over the comments here, it looks like its has an annoying love triangle and annoying missunderstandings. I dont call a show like that fluffy. I better pass
U should watch fei was not expressible with how she feels they never confess but it’s there... literally every…
What the hell do you mean they never confess. Im on episode 21 and its getting so frikin draggy. Im looking for the episode they get together, now you are telling me they dont?
Just finished rewatching it one year later. I liked it more than the first time. I think it is because it was…
They get together at 17/40 They never break up They never quarrel (a few times they say they quarreled, because they had a small disagreement, but that is not a quarrel. At those points each of them was more worried about the other not being mad than about himself) No love triangle.
Just finished rewatching it one year later. I liked it more than the first time. I think it is because it was my first cdrama back then, I only watched kdramas at that time. So while I did like it, their love was too childish for me. Now that I have watched lots of cdramas, and I am more used to chinese romance standards, I enjoyed it a lot more. I raised the 78/100 score I gave it back then to 87/100
A few spoilers below for romance lovers. I always look for this info before starting a drama, if you find it useful please post the same each time you finish one :P
I like how calmly he speaks. At the end of Love the way you are, the actors talk a bit, and it was amazing how he was exactly the same as in the show xD The rest of the actors that spoke sounded a bit different than their characters, but he sounded exactly the same
Wow, how can she be 12 years older than ML from Love the Way You Are? She looks the same age as him. It almsot didnt look like a noona romance since they look about the same age.
Is even more annoying since they make clear she spent several non consecutiva nights at his house without his…
I was confused too. But then I think I discovered the reasoning behind this. They are sleeping in different beds because the roommate knows she is staying there, she is a guest. And they arent engaged so its not proper to sleep together.
Yes, they slept together before, but if you check again, always hiding from the roommate. Even after what you say, one night she sneaked into his bed, and then hid when the roommate came.
So yeah, it's not "officially" proper, so they sleep officially separated, but together when nobody knows.
If this is done by anybody else is annoying, but for me the ML will always have a Free Pass with this and other…
Hehe I haven't watched it but this is so true. In several dramas ML does something that if it would be sML I would be very annoyed. It is indeed like a free pass, because I'm watching it for them to get together
Just finished it. Beautiful, so so good.I really dont understand the 8.3 rating, this show totally deserves a…
In the country, because of a missunderstanding, at the start she thinks he is a bad person and since he needs her help she "treats him harshly". It's not really true, both characters are good persons and they feel it right at the start. So yeah, she makes him clean and such, but already cares for him and he knows it.
In episode 3, back at their hospital, she discovers the truth and for a few episodes he "takes revenge" on her. But again its not true. Like in the entire show, both are amazing persons, and he is just joking around and not in a bad way. He is totally helping her. And a few episodes later he even explains he never planned to take revenge because she actually helped him a lot in the country.
Soon after, they declare they arent just coworkers anymore, but good friends. Both dont admit to themsleves that they like eatchother yet. Around this time, both meet the mother of the other one, and again, amazing characters. Both mothers instantly like the other lead and are a pleasure to watch.
A bit later they admit to themselves they like the other, and here I think they drag it a bit too much until they get together. ML decides to ask an exgirlfriend to help make FL jealous so she realises she likes him. It's not a triangle and its not annoying, but I think this part is a bit ridiculous.
FL discovers what ML is really doing, and plays along (they are always positively teasing eatchother and never get mad). At the end of this "play" they get together, in episode 16.
Like all characters, his ex girlfriend is totally nice and just helps him do the play as a friend and is totally nice to FL who also likes her.
After this we get a few episodes of them dating and continue being awesome together.
Then the only real problem they face happens. Somebody who wants to get rid of him as a director starts spreading bad rummors about her. Both handle it quite well for a while, but then the "villain" escalates the rumors and MLs father (who is also always supportive) intervenes.
He sends ML on a business trip and tells FL she should "act" as if they broke up (without telling ML), so he can take care of the villain. She does it and everything ends well.
When ML comes back hears about the fake breakup, he quickly understands, but again wants to tease FL, so he acts mad for a while to make her acts extra sweet towards him. She is amazing again, and after a while he goes to her to surprise her. He still acts a bit mad, but in reallity he prepared a situation to propose. They become fiances, and tell their parents who of course are all very happy because this show is a joy to watch.
That night they sleep together for the first time, and next day the show ends with a nice view of her watching him and being very happy and we hear her thoughts about how her life has changed since she met him.
Theres no love triangles (he thought she had a crush on another guy but it turned out to not be true and he made an act to make her jealous, but those were just funny things)
Theres almost no bad people in the show. The guy that wants ML to resign, and before that a boss that doesnt treat FL right (and is easily dealt with). But thats all, everybody else is great, so there is 0 angst in this show.
Theres not much physical contact, some kisses where it is needed, but their chemistry is great almost from the start and their conversations are the best Ive seen in any show. And there are many many of them. Altho I must say, the sweet, deep and understanding conversations they have, even before getting together, kind of makes it hard to believe they dont get together sooner.
I really dont understand the 8.3 rating, this show totally deserves a 9, it's on par with you are my glory and hometown chachacha, and I would say even better.
Both leads are just amazing. Their conversations.... omg. All their conversations are at the same time sweet and interesting and deep and even funny. And they have lots of conversations like that.
This is one of those shows were the leads are great together way before being together. It's just a pleasure to watch their interactions.
If I would say a wish about it, Id take a few episodes away from the get together part and put them after being together. They are amazing before getting together, but the last 2 or 3 episodes before getting together it's so obvious you keep screaming for your insides: get together already!!! And after they are together, I was left wanting more. So I would switch 2 episodes from before and add them after the get together
And again, best conversations between leads of any romance Ive seen. (after they become friends of course)

For anybody likeing lighthearted shows with leads being amazing 100% of the time, this is a must watch.
It got a spot into my top 10 of my about 120 romance dramas Ive watched. It's just a pleasure to watch every episode.
Theres only small hurdles and leads being so understanding and amazing with eatchother makes none of them feel angsty at all.
