loved hotel del luna, didn't love alchemy of souls and my girlfriend is a gumiho so.... this will be a tricky one but they got me at kim seonho <3<3<3<3<3
y'all so funny in the comments wondering why they refered to this as a scandal as if dating hasn't literally ruined peoples careers in those industry for decades now i mean come on. it's stupid yes and i love the energy around calling it out but y'all don't have to be nasty towards people writing the articles for using correct terminology and calling a spade a spade. when idols or actors get dating rumors in the industry it's VERY standard to refer to it as a scandal even today and i doubt that'll change in any near future so give it a rest.
anyways, if true - congrats to them! and i love that these types of statements "difficult to confirm as it's the personal life of our artist" have spread beyond yg to become a standard today. like yes. they owe us NOTHING, especially not info on their personal lives beyond what THEY wish to share in their OWN time. slay.
i was so convinced it was him that when i checked this page i was confused bc she and her perfect husband wasn't in his credits lol. when i realized they're two different actors was when i started noticing differences. i really hope this doesn't come off wrong but they're just SO similar, even their acting style! i'm still shocked.
best twist the show had was turning the initially bitchy character that in any other show would scheme the whole way through into literally an awesome boss and friend for the female lead. i'm not even tagging this as a spoiler bc if anything, it might encourage someone to watch. this doesn't happen in these types of dramas so it was super refreshing. a brilliant character and excellent dynamics all around! i'm sad i only have one episode left.
woo dohwan deserved better than this. the first few episodes showed promise and i enjoyed a case of the week type concept but soon enough they lost themselves in a drawn out plot that just wasn't interesting. maybe if you're into the romance it'll be worth it, but i'm not a big fan of the actress and the character was also quite mid, so i just didn't care. however, dohwan acted leagues above everyone else on that show, he's such an incredible actor and he SHINED. i just wish it was in a better quality drama. fingers crossed for the next one!
Thriller is a more imaginative staple across contemporary artforms; its anti-heroes, zombies, vampires, werewolves,…
i think you're selling the romance drama short. it's not cheap nor is it lesser than anything else you've listed. i think it would be yet another challenge to go from drama heavy, thriller heavy material to romance focused comedies - or any subgenre you mention, which can have romance, and which can be enriched by it. a romance can have just as good of a plot, tension, acting, as anything else. i would love to see him in anything from something quaint and melo such as lost or call it love to a more lighthearted approach along the lines of hometown chachacha. at the end of the day, he could go and pick shitty scripts for action thrillers just like he could go and pick an excellent romance. it's about the quality of what he's doing, and his performance - not the genre. please take yourself down a few notches and stop looking at one of the most popular, widespread, lucrative genres - and for a reason.
that's gotta be the least surprising plot twist ever
just unfortunate bc of ccir lol still i'm glad to finally see the actor get a proper villain role as i think this will deliver him better material than ccir
Good episode but honestly think Kang Pil Seung got off lightly for committing horrific child abuse.
i agree, but sometimes i think taking someone who was on the top and making him into someone people treat like dirt on the bottom of their shoes is the best hell they could have gotten... i don't think dogi would have killed him, and prison would be too nice as he gets a place to sleep, showers and three meals a day. for who he was, this is his biggest humiliation. still, i wanted worse lol
I didn't think the realtor guy was the shooter. I'm not surprised Shin Jae Ha is a bad guy in this drama. Unlike…
in ccir the hindrance to me was how unnecessary and out of place it was for the drama, it didn't really need it. here however, i NEED the big bad, and he is a brilliant addition. can't wait to see what he does to our rainbow taxi team - i hope he gets creative and sets up a great betrayal.
i don't know if it's just me but i kinda miss the involvement of the police in the revenge performed by rainbow…
i miss it as well but sadly since the actress couldn't be in this season i feel like there wasn't much they could do. if i remember correctly they did cast someone for a prosecutor role? so probably for a few episodes near the finale i presume... but i think if they had them be a bigger role like hana, it would seem a bit repetative (idk what story they could tell bc having them relearn about all this was done already with hana, but then having them be in on it easily would be a bit of a cheat and maybe also take away from the element of morality).
