I get it, but both hanyan and jiang Li had a revenge plot and they both didn't come to the capital for Marriage allaince, SXH on other hand has no revenge, also her goal serving the nation came out of no where without any backstory, it may be probably because the real Shen xihe had one and she's carrying it on. SXH promised the emperor that she'd choose a prince and yes she chose. she rejected everyone except CP. When she has no other choice, why is she so cold and distant to CP, when his goal is also to serve the nation, he's powerful and resourceful. She should have understood that a CP who is gonna take the throne must have connection, for me it's SXH who isn't understanding. Loving him or not is her preference but she clearly knew about CP still acting like this is personally frustrating....
