I could be wrong but I think Hui Wan's case might be a little different because her death was her choice. Not an illness or an accident. He only tried showing her the positive aspects of life and love and tried to help her make the best decision. In the end, he didn't exactly grab her to stop her from jumping. He stopped her by showing his affection. She could have jumped regardless but she chose not to do it. Now, his week with her, THAT might be a cause for punishment. Cause obviously Reapers don't just get a week to chill with their loved ones whenever they want. For my peace of mind, I just want to believe he's okay wherever he is 🥺

I don't think we ever found out the details. When Ram U realized she could see him and talked with her, he understood she'd been through a lot too and I think it was hinted she lost someone very important to her in the past too. I guess that's why he told her to take care of Hui Wan, her intervention saved her life.

I loved this drama even though it broke my heart and I obviously never expected a happily ever after for our couple... 💔Both leads were so amazing, I loved their characters because they felt so real and relatable. 🥺If I were her, I'd have chosen to join him in the afterlife and become a Grim Reaper by his side no matter what. But I do get why it ended the way it ended. It was appropriate and it resonated with the whole purpose of Ram U's temporary return to Hui Wan. I hope Gong Myung and Kim Min Ha reunite again in a future projects! They had great chemistry 🤌✨

He's definitely not dead and I'm pretty confident there will be a season 2!!!

I'll probably disagree with a lot of people but I found the final episode absolutely fitting and amazing and I like how they're definitely hinting at a season 2. 🔥SBS has a habit of making second seasons lately (see "Good Partner", "Flex x Cop", "Escape of the Seven") and after the FANTASTIC viewership the drama scored every week, breaking record after record, SBS isn't going to let it go so easily. 👀Ignore the MDL rating (which is stupid anyway, this deserves AT LEAST 8.6), it doesn't reflect the Korean audience's preferences which is the only thing that matters here cause this isn't a Netflix or Disney+ original, it's first and foremost broadcasted on TV and streamed on Disney+ & Hulu in limited areas.
If you came here for the romance, you were going to be disappointed from the start. This drama was never about a love story and I'm more than glad it didn't focus on that!! It was always a political thriller, with crime, corruption and power games in its core. I loved, LOVED it and I'm so sad I have to say goodbye for now.💔 I'm gonna keep my fingers crossed for a season 2, although I think I shouldn't even be worried, it's coming for sure. ✌️

Can someone help me understand something?? 🤔Because I think I've misinterpreted a couple of things. Did Hui Wan and Hong Seok become a couple after Ram U's death?? Hui Wan's college acquaintances said they frequently saw him coming to pick her up and when she and him were talking in the present, he said something like "you didn't like me, you were with me because you were missing him". And I guess they ended things in a bad way.

Pls, if you can clear this up for me, it'd be great!!! ✌️

I don't wanna say goodbye to this amazing drama and Dong Ju tomorrow 😭 I'm gonna miss it all so much 😓 It's been my weekly obsession for 2 months now 💔 At least, I have "The Haunted Palace" starting in its spot next week to save me from the post finale blues 🥺

Episode 15 was really good. 🤌Not too much action, mostly political stuff and strategizes/alliances which are all interesting nonetheless.

I loved Dong Ju giving Yeom a taste of his own medicine 😈 Can't wait for my man to get the throne he deserves 🔥✨

This time, three days from now, this wonderful drama will be over 😭💔 I'M GONNA MISS IT SO MUCH!!! It's my favourite of 2025 so far and it was my weekly obsession 🥺 Rewatch value is 10/10 because I'm not ready to say goodbye just yet 😢Park Hyung Shik's acting in this will be forever etched in my mind!!! 🔥Everyone was amazing but he stole the show with this completely new side of him. I can't wait for hif next two dramas 👀And please, give a huge bonus to his stylist. This is the hottest he's ever looked!!! 😍

Lee Hae Young definitely gets an honorary mention too because despite him being a villain, at least most of the time, I couldn't get enough of him. ✨He's such a good actor, he always leaves his unique mark in every drama he's a part of.

I'm rooting for our Dong Ju and his sweet revenge. 😈The ending of episode 14 was MASTERFUL 🤌✨ Can't wait to see how it will all end. Wishing for the highest ratings yet for episodes 15-16. "Buried Hearts" has been on the top since it premiered. Nothing has beaten it so far!!! 😁

You know... 🤔The characters are interesting and so is the chemistry they have with each other, be that on a friendly or romantic level, but something is missing... 😐 Maybe the whole insurance idea is kinda boring to me, idk. I see the potential of the romance and comedy and there are moments I like but there are others I can't really be bothered to pay attention, like all the talk about the contracts etc etc.

I'll keep watching for now, hopefully they'll invest more screen time in the relationships rather than the workplace.🤞
