I absolutely hate Su Yeon's character. People like her in dramas are so toxic, they make watching the episodes unbearable but I'll keep watching for the rest of the characters. Hopefully, she will die in the end as characters like her usually meet their doom as they should.
I liked it but I wanted something more?? I wanted more details about the actual "Project", the people behind it and a deeper look at each character's personal background. I felt like we were pretty much dropped in the middle of the story and we had no time digesting everything going on.
I think it's because this was supposed to be a movie and the length ended up being too much for a movie. The director didn't want to cut parts thus it became a 4 episode mini series. I think it definitely leaves room for a second part. I heard this is all in the same fictional universe and the "Witch" movies. I should probably take a look at those.
The hell is this rating??? What clown rated this so low?!?!? I really liked the first episode and I'm invested. Great cast, intriguing story. I'm seated!!
Hye Ji is EXTREMELY annoying and it's pathetic that after being ignored so hard in her high school years, she's still obsessed with the same guy who never even gave her a glance. πI haven't warmed up to the FL yet but I'm sure I will cause I love the actress. 2 ML is a jerk but I wonder if we're having a "My Lovely Liar" kind of misunderstanding. Maybe he was sick and had to go, so, she was left wondering why she got dumped out of the blue.
ML is adorable, I haven't seen him in anything since "Nevertheless". I gotta watch more stuff with him!! Love me a seemingly cold ML who's actually a caring cutie π₯°
The rating, WTF?! Who gives such trash ratings when the series has barely started?! Zero brain cells π Anyway, solid first episode, I'm very interested in these characters. It has a strong cast so I'm definitely invested. Looking forward to episode 2. π
One of the best political K-Dramas for sure!!! When I started it, I had my doubts, especially since I'm really not a fan of the FL, still not am after watching this drama, and most of the time political works are heavy and too serious but honestly it's exceptional. Fast paced, to the point, twists and turns, never gets boring. Episode number and length is absolutely perfect. Also great music and cinematography.
The ML and his female partners were always one step ahead of everything. It was so refreshing seeing justice being served and the good guys kicking the bad guys with all their powers. It's so annoying when the villains win all the time until the last episode (see this writer's previous work "Punch" to get anger issues) so I was 100% thrilled to be able to get the satisfaction and laugh at the villains' faces plenty of times throughout the episodes when the ML destroyed their plans again and again. The man didn't just have a Plan B. He had plans A all the way to letter Z. You just couldn't outsmart him. I also really liked the Christian parallels, about Jesus, Judas, the teachings, the cross and sacrifice. It was all very well done.
I had never seen the ML anywhere before but I loved him. Great acting, I'll definitely be looking out for his future and past works. I would have been even happier with a different actress as a FL, I don't like anything about her acting, her facial expressions are weird and that biting her lips thing?? Ugh, she did it in "The World of the Married" too, the directors need to tell her to stop it and try to show more emotion, looks like she only knows how to scream . I couldn't handle her in that drama and ultimately stopped watching it because of her on episode 6.
The actresses next to the ML were absolutely fantastic. I've seen them in other dramas before but in "Whirlwind" they truly stood out to me. Wonderful acting from both of them, their characters were so clever and effective, I loved them.
Definitely worth a watch. I would recommend it to everyone!!
