Just completed Moon River. At first I had no interest in watching but after I read some comparisons to Boys over Flowers I had to give it a shot. Yes, there are many similarities to BOF and lots of the elements from their situations, characters and general story line. Did I enjoy it? Yes. At first the toe socks and hair was killing me on the main female lead but I later gave it up and just began to enjoy her uniqueness. The main male leads are cute and entertaining as well and I enjoyed watching their growth. The supporting cast (roommates, best friends, evil friends) etc. were good and each had their likes and dislikes. Some acting scenes were cringe worthy and just seemed blahh "come on what kind of acting is that." But after awhile you just accept it and move on. Lots of fun, funny, cute, life experiences bundled in this series. The ending; hmmmm though OK could have been way better and should have tied up lose ends on other couples. Did not care too much for the ending and think it could have gone the extra mile to wrap things up. Is it entertaining? Yes. Would I say it was better than BOF? Jury is still out. Both had their charms and differences. I think Moon River had less curve balls but was a bit more mature in certain situations. Couple of sweat moments. Not the greatest but definitely not the worst either. I think if you are a fan of BOF, Hana Yori Dango, Meteor Garden tv series etc. I think you would enjoy this type of series as well. It's all about entertainment anyway and the series was entertaining.

Very fun romantic comedy. It had some outrageous comedic moments and is worth the watch. I think the cast worked well with each other. The main leads were well matched. The story line: girl dumps guy and guy tries to get back girl with help from another girl. You already know how this goes but it was fun to watch and you will enjoy if you give it a chance. thumbs up for everyone. I laughed a lot and enjoyed the movie very much.

My love and respect for Joo Jin Mo has grown. First in Frozen Flower now this. Loved his intensity, passion and playfulness in this drama. Who wouldn't want someone to love them that much in real life. In the story he dedicated most of his adult life to this one person. Realistic, dunno but here in drama world YES very realistic. Story was well done, written and acted. You kind of figure what the next step is but you still go along for the ride and just enjoy it.Joo Jin Mo was intense so you can believe his story more. As usual you will ask yourself why is there always a woman in these dramas that will drive themselves MAD for a man that does NOT want them. That will blatantly say I DON'T WANT YOU, Never HAve, NEVEr will and means IT and for her this translates into LET ME TRY HARDER. Maybe if I kidnap him and tie him up and FORCe myself on him he will eventually fall for me and love Me (does not happen in this btw). But only in drama world will this happen where you just want to yell snap out of it, HE does not want you move on and pick up your pride off the floor and try to humbly move on. As for the story, loved it and happy that I watched it based on a recommendation I read. It's a love story, it has misery, some surprises you probably will figure out, some happiness, sorrow and hope, flew cliches some 'romantical' scenes (yes my word) romantical scenes. But I think you will cheer them on and hope for the best for this onscreen couple who are just trying to love one an other without any issues or people butting in.

I loved "Our Times". It was fun to watch, funny moments. Of course we all know what will happen but it was great to see how everything unfolded. The characters were great and enjoyable. I think the story was relatable and sometimes the obvious is right in front of you. The main leads worked well with each other and it was a good lesson to not judge a person by the outer shell only; it's only a fraction of what makes you up and it doesn't represent the whole entire person. Give them a chance and you may be surprised what you see and learn.
My only dislike is not seeing more of the main characters as grown ups. Also would have been nice to see what happened to the other main classmates. Wanted to see more of them as far as what their experiences were and if any of them still remained friends. I really wanted to see more about the main guy; what were his experiences and even a sneak peak of the after, was it happily ever after like in my mind? lol
In all, still fun to watch and it happy I watched it. Two thumbs up. Good job.

I am so loving this drama. I giggled like a little school girl 90% of the time until things got serious then I was 10% in control mode. The story had it's meaning and I enjoyed the way it was told. I kept thinking "I want to hang out with this group in real life". They all seemed to gel well and had great chemistry. I am now a new fan of Push, the actor that plays Bee and the rest of cast mates but esp. Push. He seemed genuinely charming and funny. Bee (actor that plays role) was hysterical. Loved the story, loved the cast and I am happy I gave this drama series a chance. Great job by everyone. It was just fun to watch and of course their is an important message behind the drama. Enjoy the laughs.

LOved every minute of this series. I saw Byun Yo Han in incomplete life and was smitten but in this drama he certainly displays so much charm. YOu could see why his character would have a good relationship with his ex's. The whole cast was perfect together and they played off of each other so well. The series wasn't drawn out with unnecessary fillers of crazy twists that were just too much to handle at time, I don't think anyone's character was overboard or unbearable. Great story and great chemistry by all. I think the ex's and "friend" all stood out. I thoroughly enjoyed this; a barrel of laughs with just the right amount of drama. I definitely recommend and I am sooooooo happy I gave this a try. Love Byun Yo Han character, the little eye twitches and smiles and just down right charm will captivate you or it did for me. I have fallen for the cast and I look forward to more work from them all. Thumbs up to everyone, even brother and sister in law was a riot together. LOVED IT!

I would say this one is pretty much at the top of my favorite list. The first few minutes I had doubts but then those doubts turned around and kicked me in the butt. Loved everything about this show, the cast and all. The parents of Ho Goo are a riot even the parents of Byeon Kang Cheol were funny. The chemistry between the cast members were great and it was refreshing to watch, even the behind the scenes clips were funny. Loved the chicken dance by Ho Goo and the scenes between Byeon Kang Cheol and Ho Goo were comical too. The leads were great, twin sister was great as well. In a nutshell I liked the entire cast. Byeon Kang Cheol at first is just kinda rude and a loner but he grows on you and you understand why he is the way he is. He takes a while to come out of his shell but it was great when he did. I thought Ho Goo was going to be a whimp and too passive but he was a total charmer. The cute eyes and little look he gives is awesome. Ho Gyeong was just crazy but lovable. Do Do Hee grew on me, she was a bit cold but she was strong and she had her reasons. This was funny, sweet, charming and touching.
Now for a serious note, this show touched on some serious issues that I don't often see in this type comedic melodrama. I won't reveal the issues in show because I don't want to ruin it for others. I think it was handled well in the show but it would have been nice to see more about those issues and coping and acceptance for people that deal with these issues. The show skimmed the surface of these issues but at least it was talked about. I was so pleasantly happy with the ending, at least they didn't leave a bunch of unanswered questions and the ending was a good one. I don't expect a happy ending for everything but I do expect that all issues, topics and relationships are cleared up. So YEAHHHH!!!!!! Great job on the show.

I think this drama picked up speed in the middle and towards the end. The first half kinda dragged and I think it would have been fine if the series was shorter. Once the drama picked up it became much better to watch and follow. Was totally drawn in by the dimples and I could have easily not watched if it wasn't for the smile and the dimples given. He knows exactly what he is doing with the killer smile (main lead).
The cast at times were very enjoyable. Filled with the usual, life lesson, hurt, anger, cuteness, loads of dimples, smiles and playfulness, over coming obstacles, learning from your mistakes and the opportunity to START over again. It was cute, it killed some time but I would not be able to re-watch this again. It was not the best acting but as time passes the cast grows on you. Not the best overall but also not the worst either. it's enjoyable.

Loved it and Loved the cast. I really enjoyed the original "My Queen" but I also LOVED "Witch's Romance". Witch's Romance was fun and enjoyable to watch. The cast was great. Great mix of talent. everyone playing off of each other. I did notice some minor changes to certain situations in WR but it was still still. Over the moon thrilled with Park Seo Joon and Uhm Jung Hwa both very talented and the had such great chemistry. In-fact, I think the whole cast had such a believable chemistry that if I were to hear otherwise I would be shocked. Park Seo Joon charmed the lights out of me and if he said the sky were green I would surely believe him. I would loved to just package his charm & charisma in this drama and keep it for myself. Loved the relationship between the best friends (Yong Soo Cheol & Yoon Dong Ha). Now is the story of older woman finding romance with a younger man 14 years age difference believable and realistic. Yes why not? Did I believe them, yes I did. This type of relationship could work for some and could not work for some others, as would any relationship between two people. I think the remake was great and at 16 episodes I was sold. Now did you get a perfect happy ending. I think so, maybe not perfect but it was realistic. Regardless of the ending, I loved everything about it. Loved the playfulness between the main couple, little kisses and looks that make a romantic comedy like this fun and great to watch. Enjoy

I would have given a higher score but this drama broke my heart. :-( Han Jung Suh & Cha Song Ju were a great pair and they tugged at the heart strings. The actors that played the characters were great and the acted beautifully. But at times the situation that they had to deal with was frustrating, I wished for a better happier ending but sadly that did not happen. The younger version of Han Jung Suh & Cha Song Ju were great also but I yelled at the screen about how nutts the circumstances were. Han Tae Hwa & Han Yu Ri characters were insane and at times you want to shake them and say snap out of it. Enjoyed Director Jang. The stepmother was off the charts evil and nutts. The dad's character was so oblivious to what was happening. The story has the usual, evil stepmother, jealously, love, betrayal, determination, loads of sadness, despair, crazy people and people just in denial, mix in some cute moments, cute kisses, did I mention sadness and ANGER. This was an emotional roller coaster. I think I deserved more happiness after watching this. Lots of cuteness overload and winking from Kwon Sang Woo, Yum yum. Enjoyed despite the tears.

I loved this drama. It's amazing what some dramas can do in 4 simple episodes that other dramas cannot do in 14 or 20. It was a great story, visually beautiful, interesting and funny and didn't leave you hanging. My only :-( sad part was what happened to the original main role. Younger vs older actor. For whatever reason the person that plays the adult version is different from the actor that plays the teen version while everyone played their adult roles and teen roles the same. Big question mark for the female lead because you don't who exactly plays the adult role either. Even with that minor detail to the actors, the story was great and acted very nicely by all. I deducted points for my confusion, I kept thinking I was lacking sleep and he just looks a little different and not that there were two different people. lol. Fun to watch and loved the song played by the cheerful band. Super cute drama, thumbs way up, enjoyable and entertaining with some laughs happy I gave it a chance.

I thought this was very clever and funny. Loved the leads and their chemistry and I enjoyed the story. It was quick simple, get to the point enjoyment. The female lead is very funny and I almost wanted the drama to be longer but I think sometimes less is more. Why drag it out when it doesn't need to be dragged out. Thumbs up. Lotss of funny scenes and worth the watch.

I had no clue where this comedy was going, still have no true idea on the plot but I did laugh a lot. The first few minutes I was thinking WTH am I watching. I didn't know if I should be offended or just keep going to see what-else this movie touches on. Apart from the first few minutes I enjoyed the movie and the male lead more and followed along even though I had no idea where it was going. Male lead certainly displays very humorous characteristics and the movie was very funny. Other actors were also funny and entertaining. Lots of funny moments throughout the movie but I could have done w/o the first 5 minutes or so.

Overall I liked Fondant Garden but i did not love it. I enjoyed the cast and the story line though it was your typical romantic comedy with a little drama. The story was filled with cliches, light, a bit of fluff, kinda cookie cutter, trip and fall kisses, love hate, some twists, back stabbing etc. The twist happens early which I was fine with but I felt it dragged a bit. Some info says 16 episodes but I saw 24 so now I'm a little confused. The main actor character Po Xi Huan was immature, very playful, with an overload of cuteness. I wish they would have focused more on him maturing more. The first few episodes I believe was too long with the focus on this lie/misrepresentation. I think the story would have been effective with less on this lie/misrepresentation. I would have preferred to watch the lead growing more in his character while still maintaining his personality. The character Zheng Mi En was sweet and lovable. The characters Yan Han Xiang & Chen Ai Lin are kind of selfish but I think they are understandable based on their experiences. They are not evil; they have good intentions but are misguided in how they reach their goals. The ending was nice and everyone found a place where they fit in though getting to that final end again presented another twist which was a bit frustrating. Once again I liked Fondant Garden but i did not love it, I think with less emphasis on the unimportant things and more focus on important things this drama would have been great/better. 7 out of 10.

If you are looking for romance then this may not be for you. I think you may have a better understanding of the film if you are just starting your career or have been working for some time. YOu can feel for Jang Geu Rae character at times. Sometimes you feel angry for him, with him, saddened or you just feel inspired by him. The film kind of draws you in and before you know it you are hooked. Cheering the characters on, it shows how the workforce can be a brutal place for men and women but for the women in this film, I felt as if they were just down right abusive towards them. I've never been in that type of environment where as a female employee you were just disrespected and had to put up with crap. Very much like hazing in the workforce but the characters pushed thru and overcame their obstacles which is the part that you cheer for and hope and wish that they would grow from the experience. Certainly great to watch despite my wishes to see some romance but It was not even needed since you begin to focus on the characters and their hope to better themselves in the film. Thumbs up, great film. It's like watching the behind the scenes of what actually happens in some people life's in their offices. It's showing real life experiences.
