Anyone else is getting 'murderous ire' rising up each time the "princess" is in the scene?
I am absolutely puzzled about why the writer and director wanted to thrust such a nuisance of a character into the drama .. Not one shred of pity or empathy is escaping me towards her (but an itch to see her smacked).
Horror of horrors should the writer-director think this is CUTE and ADORABLE and DESERVING QIMING's LOVE .. and building up towards that
UGH UGH UGH .. I think I shall inflict hammer blow to my own skull if she 'wins' with this 'personality trait'.

And on top of that to be paired with Ren Hao, who IMO is really managing to hold attention EACH time he is on screen, is blasphemy .. Poor actor .. I have no idea how he even performed ~ actors need to be able to 'duet' well drawing each other's best out ..
He definitely found his footing well in the role ~ just how it's falling on me .. in fact plan to check him out in other dramas when he has a prime role ;-p
So the Qi Min & Qi Luo till death do us apart loyalty is fantastic and will cause me heartbreak cause as of now it seems he has a throbbing heart all pumping towards Qi Luo .. His protection of brat could be from 'pay-back' for being rescued several times .. he's kind of uptight in that sense.

She has this snappily snap way of talking like she has a few loose marbles and hasn't grown beyond 4 y.o. ~ we see behaviour like this in pre-school ..

I too enjoy misunderstandings because it sets me up with the tension of how will they clear this - the moment of realization...
The one and only reason this drama made me split a vein and left me repulsed was the FL - the way she essayed the role.. The way the role was probably written.. Infantile - and it absolutely made no sense to me how Li Xian character was AT ALL into a person with a personality like that.
It was forced and I didn't see it.
Although I didn't watch beyond 2 or so eps..I did FFWD and swooped in and out a bit...realizing that the rest of the characters and story of the Drama was very engaging and done so well.
FL for me was the FLY IN THE SOUP - a delicious warm beautiful soup you are dying to taste and then this DEAD FLY is floating right on top.
Eeyew!!!
Along with BOF this makes top of the REPEL LIST of dramas that left me with a ugh feel.

I LOVED SECRET - Rewatch drama for me. Done twice
I've used that earlier.
But I don't want to watch on laptop.
It's Cinematography is made for the big screen - am relishing that aspect a lot.
The almost placid pace in the last few eps (because they were not difficult to predict) has suddenly begun to swirl into a eddy....

The end of this season is nearing and can see how the cliffhanger is approaching; that's going to give us ulcers waiting for the second season.
