I watched this a year ago. Rewatched twice since then.. Discussed it to death.. Made friends on MDL for the first time.. Because the pressure to experience the thrill of it with fellows was so strong.
L&P watchers have a level of enthrall that is unparalleled. They go for days stuck in its eddy... Some remain forever in its orbit and return to it.

It's NOT for those looking for a regular "easy to digest" quick bite fast food romance.
It's deep...intricate and has exquisite craftsmanship. VERY FEW DRAMAS achieve this level of perfection

Many who disliked it didn't make the distinction between great drama brilliantly made AND great drama but a lot of it went over my head so I dropped it.
I recall dropping MONEYFLOWER because revenge focused plot wasnt my thing BUT it was a BRILLIANTLY made as a drama and highly recommended for those who like it.
Same with GLORY.. And many of the non-romance dramas which shine but not of interest.

Is his acting and role making viewers squee and faint with delight? Are viewers breathlessly waiting to watch his expressions speak? His eyes, brows, lips emoting effortlessly?
Is he swinging his role out of the ball park?
Just curious .. if his acting is doing justice to the Stellar Story and plot of the drama ... to the exquisite acting of WCR who is slaying it .. as viewers watch her hungrily in every scene .. witty .. sly .. smart. brave ,, sincere .. kind .. upset .. suspicious .. furious .. All that is VISIBLE on her face.
Just wondering aloud ;-p This thread is SO THICK and slurry with flood of comments and excitement .. BUT seems mainly ON the STORY .. which undoubtedly is >9 /10
ANYONE ELSE fantasized about a different casting for the ML role?? CRAVED to see a different actor be the foil for WCR's skilled portrayal?

She is a RIOT.
I watched her in that and loved her instantly ,,, I also discovered the INCREDIBLE talent and versatility of WXY ( Duke Su ;-p of THE DOUBLE and ZZ of SOKP).
I laughed so much and chuckled .. very unusual drama .. and her role was YUMMY no kidding

Yeah I don't mind an FL with some anxieties and worries but what is irksome is the "baby ish" act.
Eg I LOVED Wang Chu Ran in FOMH
