Tbh i have mixed feelings about the eclipse, it's obvs one of the best bls among the ones that are airing rn but besides the really good tension between the leads the story hasn't yet picked up my interest, like the plot is interesting in theory but the way they are executing it is
a bit boring (this is the exact problem i'm also having with vice versa) but that's just me 😅

The only series i feel like to recommend is "180 degree longitudine passes through you" there's only 2 episodes out but so far is really good 😊 All the others unfortunately turned out to be either snoozefests or just disappointing, what can I say kinnporsche really ruined it for me😭

First episode was funny and very entertaining! Love her or hate her, give it to the adaptations of mame's stories to be anything but boring lol

I wanted to write my usual weekly shitpost but this is getting boring and boring, we are more than halfway through the series and kim and khamol relationship which should be the main entrée of this whole series is colder than a dead body and it's getting unbearable. Ironically they seemed to have more chemistry in the first episodes and, as we all know, they were tragic lol Even the trashiness that i so much enjoyed (the main reason i decided to continue this series alongside my wifey ging), is getting old. I'm conflicted, i don't know if i should drop it or not but let's be real i'll probably stay for the side couples and my girls (sammy we need you back!). Now that i think about it, If they made this a gl starring ging as khamol and sammy as kim it would have been a hit, i need a gl mafia series in my life, a need to see dom!ging.

Ps: the baby was the slayer of this week's episode, the cuteness was seriously too much <3

This is the review section for the drama NOT the novel, if you have some complaints about the books, this is not the right place. What's the point of giving a summary of what happened in the novel if all the things you listed do not follow its exact path, and on the contrary, they take a very different approach to the soursce material (novel)??
-"bite marks all over his body(attempt of rape)" this is exactly what happens in the novel but it does NOT happen in the series so you are just giving false info, what vegas did was not attempt rape but assault at most. Porsche, unlike in the novel, had the force to push him away preventing him to hurt him because what vegas wanted to do was just to mess him up to piss off kinn. Assault =/= attempted rape, words have their meanings pls use them accordingly.
-"he gets uncontrollable and fucks him, well RAPE him" again this is what happens in the novel but in the series it's more complicated than that and it's not just kinn losing his control over an almost unconscious porsche (like in the novel), porsche in the series is aware and vocal i would argue. Also there has been a long debate and every person has their own opinions if they consider the scene dub-con, rape, or not (shocker i know people can have a different view and yours it's not the only one).
-"how can you fall in love with your rapist?" Again, if kinn in the series is a rapist or not is highly debatable, but also if you think that Porsche didn't feel anything towards kinn before that night, if you still don't understand why he fell in love, why he started to feel some kind of attraction towards him even before episode 4 (that night), maybe you didn't pay enough attention to what was happening on the screen.
-"Porsche was straight and Kinn was gay." again, wrong. Novel porsche is straight and a homophobe but series porsche is NOT. While for kinn it's explicitly said that he is gay, it's not the same for porsche as no one, not even he himself, comments on his sexuality. You labelling him as straight is just you assuming someone's sexuality based on stereotypes, not all men that kiss and fuck women are straight, there are more sexual orientations than just straight and gay. It's 2022, stop assuming people's sexuality it's actually very insensitive! Also if it wasn't clearenough the fluidity of Porsche's sexuality, p'tong (thankun's actor) confirmed that apo himself (porsche's actor) said that his character is someone that doesn't care about gender which to me does make him very much queer.
-"And he also apologised after the incident, which made it all better????" Taking accountability is always better than ignoring what happened which a lot of bl series do. Novel kinn actually never addressed the matter in a straight-to-the-point way something that series kinn does, so whatever you consider their first night to be (rape or dub-con) accountability and awareness is something to be apprechiated, rather than criticized just because to you by doing that he "made it all better", it clearly does not eliminate everything that happened and what he did but apologizing and actually recognizing one's mistakes can make things better for the other person, which it did because you can see how porsche changes throughout the multiples apologies and if you listed to him or even tried to understand his character you would have understood why he did accept that at the end.
Again, i want to remind you that this is a review for the series not for the novel (which IS substantially different) for that there are sites like Goodreads. You might not like the series and it's totally fine but this is overall a novel review which is not what you should be doing here.

Milebible? Did boc decide to put two introverts together? Things are gonna turn awkward pretty soon lol but i can't wait to see their dynamics! Also, i really like that boc is so random in their pairings so we can get to see all of them interact :D

All of these share my top 1 spot, like all of them have equally amazing acting, cinematography and engaging stories which is why i can't choose <3

This is the question that i keep asking since episode 1 because while they kinda cute together, their age gap and relationship in the novel is yk *cough* very messed up *cough*... Okay so apparently their respective age hasn't been revealed yet (and tbh i don't even know if they'll ever reveal it because i guess they want to leave things ambiguous), we just know that baiboon goes to school (so depending on the year he can be anywhere from 16-18 y.o) and khom is kinda kamol's age, so late 20s. Not saying this is canon but most probably they have a 10 yrs age gap in the series, which is better than the novel but still...

Now, let's not lie, kinn had a distinct style and his clothes even though they followed a kinda monochromatic palette they were almost all the time different. And Porsche as a broke university student still shown us more variety than Kim in 6 episodes. We can say a lot about KP but not that they served boring or repetitive fashion lol Btw i don't understand the need to bring up kp , clothes are still part of a series' budget which this series' it's nowhere near to the one of kp, so let's not compare because it's not really fair 😅

This week i'll keep it short because first the episode was pretty bad and bland that i had to watch it at 2x and second atp the problems of this series are still the same: poor acting, nonexistent directing, and shitty editing.
-Baiboon is precious, a cutie, an angel that can do no wrong but jesus the infantilization of his character sometimes it's too much, i guess that it's a bit better than in the novel but even that, a highschooler being treated like a kindergarten is yk...
- Seeing cherry slapping kim gave me so much joy and life because let's be real, my boi needs to wake the f up, he needs to get his shit together cause brain cells and personality are still nowhere to be found!
- I swear kim and kamol have the most boring dating life i've ever seen, i know that the director's intent was to give us domesticity fluff showing them being all lovely dovely at home but it's just sooo boring, it would help if they had some chemistry but there's not even that.
-One thing that i've noticed is the recycling of the outfits, gosh they should be rich, and yet both kamol and kim have the same 2/3 fits every episode.... Even a poor af couch potato like me can afford more variety than that lol
Like i said last week, danai and cherry are carrying this whole show on their backs, their characters suck real hard but at least they keep the series interesting and their acting is the most natural so there's that. And to all the people saying "we don't need a triangle/a bitchy woman coming for the couple/etc..." well just fyi that bitchy woman as of rn is carrying the plot so put some respect on my girl, cherry! <3

but isn't this just you assuming things? You keep repeating that you thought he identified as straight because you saw him making out/having sex with some girls but you do realize that a man who kisses/has sex with a woman can also like men, right? You do realize that there's more than just straight and gay, right? Also how is your assumption regarding someone's sexuality the authors' fault and poor writing on their part? It doesn't make sense. Btw just a tip for the future, stop assuming people's sexuality, or assuming that the standard sexuality is straight, it's not cool.

boc called it their first original movie so supposedly it shouldn't be an adaptation/remake of something already existing however it's a historical movie and let's be real a majority of period movies, king and the clown included, end in tragedy so i'm not that hopeful but that's just my gut feeling speaking, i guess we'll have to wait and see lol
