from what i remember the authors "parted ways" (nice way to say that they left a sinking ship) with the filmania mainly due to the creative differences (if the company wanted to change their sh*t script, i wouldn't have blamed them) and the financial issues of the company that probably ended up going bankrupt. Btw the authors of the novel were also the screenwriters under the filmania project therefore it is a given that the script would have been a copy and paste of their work, and they would have gone for that even under boc if they weren't paired with actually talented people who knew what they were doing. So yeah nothing is certain about what happened in the past but the safest bet after everything that was seen and said is that that script was going to be a novel lookalike

"what were their plans for the series" well that's easy, you can read the novel for that since from the trailer it was clear that they were going to stick to its content (which would have been a total disaster lol)

Mmh i see, i do agree that he's too emotional, that's his biggest weakness but i don't think that porsche from the last episode is the same as before, knowledge and broken trust can bring some sort of coldness and lucidity. For the negative development, i personally don't see it like that, that was absolutely in character of him, like you said he's very emotional hence when his family is involved is going to do anything, even "selling" his friend (even if i don't think it was really giving up pete or selling him, he brought him with a whole entourage in a familiar place as a kind of guarantee for pete's safety so there's that). Well i guess we'll just have to wait and see what the authors and boc have in store for his character!

And if i may ask you what made you change your mind in the last episode? If we were talking about porsche from episodes 1-12 i would have agreed with you, 100% no question asked, but things changed, secrets have come to light, mistrust, and doubts replaced trust and with all of this happening in the last two episodes we can see a porsche with his newfound acquaintance making it very clear that he lost all the trust he had for the main family, for Korn and as a consequence also that blind trust he had for kinn. He's not that smart, we can all agree with that, but he's also not that stupid or that blind and i'll die on this hill lol

I do think the moment he fell in love with kinn was also the moment his dream changed. Porsche from episodes 1-6 with his bar on the beach dream no longer exists, that porsche was killed by none other than porsche himself. Btw i think that a lot of people are misunderstanding something about porsche accepting the role of the head of the minor family cause while i do agree that his love for kinn might have played a role in making that decision, Porsche episode 14 is a Porsche that is aware that Korn lied to him, that Korn is hiding something, it's a Porsche that now see Korn under a new light, therefore, being the head gives him all the power and resources to discover the truth and to bring him down. Porsche did not trap himself for Kinn, he consciously and voluntarily trapped himself inside that world because he's slowly coming to the understanding that, kinn or not, now that his family is involved he was always part of it and he's now seeing himself fit in that life (like haven't we see that confidence he was exuding in the final episode, mafia boss vibes). Porsche he's a fool in love sure but he's also a man with a mission and that mission is to bring down korn even at the expense and risks of hurting and "betraying" kinn (the new chapter of the vp novel made it very clear where we're all going)

Well to be fair if you've read the novel, kinnporsche the series was expected to be one big hot mess, like i was ready for the hottes mess i've ever seen in a thai bl because of the novel's content but boc did the impossible and made a trashy novel a damn masterpiece so if boc is going to produce season 2, and they are going to, i know for a fact that they will do a good job!

Unfortunately this is so true, i've read a lot of thai bl novels and 8/10 contain some sort of sa or the romanticization of emotional abuse (and 1 out of 2 of the "good" ones as in healthy relationship-wise are just plain boring to me) which makes me think that there sure is a more deeply-rooted problem that i doubt international viewers/readers/bl consumers can solve by complaining or expressing their disgust. However even if the majority seem okay with it, i'm happy to see that there are more and more thai fans that are slowly showing interest in these issues and understanding the problems, which is what makes me hopeful for a change. What i don't understand is all this uproar surrounding this new chapter because, while i was also hoping for some kind of positive change, since day 1 this was daemi style (like have we read the same toxic af books from them? did we really expect something different from such authors)... For my mental health i just ignore what i dislike and focus on the plot because at the end that is the only thing i'm really curious about and the only reason i'm going to read this new novel, i want to see how they wrap up this whole korn mess and what they had in plan for this couple futures.

I don't think it's cheating, at the end of the last book they formed an alliance to bring down korn so it's most probably related to that.

so we've got betrayal, family fluff, and scheming in just what is a very short chapter, what the hell is going to happen in this new book?? Now i'm even more excited than before, can't wait for august!

I believe both porsche and chay are still living in with the main family, even their mom is there so... Also the minor family mansion i think is still technically vegas and macau's home ^^'
