Oh that's for sure, if they were perfect communicators this show wouldn't even exist, plus i'm a sucker for the misunderstanding/miscommunication trope so i breathe and live for this mess, and all the analysis that comes with it, absolutely chef kiss lol

Okay, here's goes me putting my kinn' defender hat ahah No but fr this is not an attack to your opinion or to porsche (i love that man to pieces but sometimes he's just ugh) i'm just sharing my pov so don't take it wrong. Personally i partially agree, however the same thing could be said for porsche, he's also very much a self-absorbed, incapable of handling serious matter (being that impulsive is never a good thing especially when you never think about the consequences) boy with his own tawan's agenda that he forgot to mention to kinn (i know that he must be worried/jelous (?) for kinn but you don't go around putting spy cams or whatever those things were in tawan's camera when first you suspect him being a snake and second you know that people are searching for a mole, getting caught in the process, and then follow him and kinn being THAT obvious, to me those were very stupid moves. Also, they both lack communication skills (or more than lack they have very different ways of communicating) and that is what ultimately led up to episode 9 disaster ending (even if i think people are just jumping to conclusion and should wait for episode 10 to see if they acted stupid or not). What i don't understand is why people expect kinn to be "perfect" (not perfect per say but expect him to be this open and trusting mafia boss like the previous 8 episodes never happened lol) but never hold porsche to such standards because to me both kinn and porsche fucked up in this episode (maybe one more than the other), they didn't communicate and this is what happens when communication fails. So in conclusion to me they both deserve each other, dumb always finds dumber lol Sorry for the long and maybe completly wrong rant but my kinn defender senses were tingling ahah

But wasn't Perth (ken) in the old version playing Tawan's brother? From what i remember, since they didn't include the brother and wanted perth in the cast, they created ken just for him.

Unfortunately i can't agree, kinn might be not the nicest or wistes man for porsche to you but vegas is even worse, he literally was the one behind the whole r*pe fiasco and he constantly tries to manipulate porsche, especially when he knows that he's at his lowest. I don't know but to me that seems even shittier than how"dumb middle-schooler" kinn acts lol But again, everyone has their own opinions so let's agree to disagree :)

so i just caught up on episode 9 and i'm so confused by some comments and the overall lack of understanding of a lot of viewers because while most things are ambiguous and up to our individual interpretations, others are spelled out right in front of us, i keep seeing people claiming that kinn trusted tawan over porsche when he literally said and i quote "i trust NO ONE" looking directly at porsche (could have been an indirect message to Porsche implying that he does not trust tawan without having to actually say it out loud right in front of him in hope for porsche to get it? or could it have been a clear message that he doesn't trust both him and tawan? I guess we will have our answer next week lol). Regardless of the potential meanings of that sentence, there is still an undeniable message that has been repeated for most of the series: mafia boss kinn trusts no one. Like what's not clicking? Plus, while i do think that kinn might be a bit too emotional to be a mafia boss, he's still a boss before porsche's lover, and in that situation where he was confronted in front of his team he needed to act like one, he's not that stupid, he doesn't do sh*t just because, he's not an impulsive person (unlike porsche) so it's not in his character to just do something because someone (who broke his trust) told him to, he has a master in overthinking lol so most of the time there is always a reason behind his actions (a reason that might be questionable but it's a reason nonetheless) so pls cut him some slack and just think of the bigger picture. Also, pls continue with the kinn slander, i'm enjoying it so freaking much because he might have his reasons but my heart just wants to slap him (and maybe even a bit porsche) for the lack of communication ahah well sorry for the pointless comment, i just wanted to put my 2 cents in :)

Maybe unpopular but i'm really glad that we got this episode, to me it felt very much needed for where we are going, so yes i'm on cloud nine, high on their love ahah Also, while i do agree that some scenes felt a bit fillerish (even if i don't think fillerish is the right word to describe them, more like unnecessarily prolonged ) and that time-wise they could have managed it better, the episode itself gave us a lot of important Infos that will be key when sh*t is going to hit the fan (prob next episode). So yeah just wanted to share my thoughts and happiness because seeing them in their full-on honeymoon phase brought back some good memories, plus they very much deserve to have this moment <3

Fr!! I didn't expect to like porsche this much since the very beginning.

"if anyone is questioning the series based on the representation of a healthy relationship then I'll immediately consider them a child." the projection unfortunately is very much real and what i would say is at the root of a lot of criticism people have regarding the show

1- I always encourage criticism and sharing opinions because there is freedom of speech and it's interesting however my complaint was more directed to the people that share the same criticisms every episode. It's like sending the same message every day to someone ignoring their response, what's the point? what are they trying to achieve?
2- Oh trust me i ignore, i literally have half the kp fandom blocked on twt/tt lol yet these kinds of complaints always find their way in my timeline ahah
3- What surprise me is that a lot of this is coming from grown ups rather than kids which is why i'm even more puzzled ^^

Btw this was just a little vent because i literally have nowhere to talk this freely about kp, it wasn't meant to be deep ahah

Good evening everyone! I'm back again with another rant because this is basically the only platform i can vent without being attacked so my apologies (and yes this comment section has now become my personal ranting space).

I can't believe that we're almost on episode 8 and some people still question the morality of the show, porsche's seemingly immature and dumb choices, kinn and porsche's relationship, how it's too soon to call it love (newsflash, there is no set time to fall in love and often times there is also no conscious reasoning behind it), and so on. I feel like all of these could have been fair criticism 2/3 (or more) episodes ago, however, atp i'm starting to believe that the problem it's just either not really understanding/paying enough attention to the story they are showing rather than telling because let's be real they're not spoonfeeding you all the clarifications/information or whatever someone may expect and this has bothered a lot of people lol, or it's just about not being in tune with the story which is perfectly fine, either case if you only have complaints and it causes you this much bother and stress, do yourself a favor and just drop the series, watching a series (even hate-watching) should be an overall enjoyable experience. Btw this is not me trying to stop future criticism, the sharing of different opinions, or telling others what to do but after the nth time i see the same complaints, it's getting really repetitive and pointless because we're not reaching any conclusions, sure till now the show has sprung up very interesting convos but again they are getting repetitive and what needed to be said was already said in every way and form, especially regarding certain topics. Just to be clear this is not directed towards the people who joined this chaotic journey late (better late than never), in fact, feel free to share whatever thoughts you may have, it's rather directed to the people who have the same complaints since episode 1 and don't even try to understand where some characters come from.

Tbh to me they are the definition of "built chemistry", while mile and apo seem to have kinda immediatly hit it off, jeff and barcode had to put some work to achieve that which is why they both deserve a big applause, but yeah like you said especially jeff as he's the leading captain of this ship lol

Here are some considerations post-episode 7 that i need to get out (it's going to be long and maybe a bit random so skip it if you're not interested)

- My main problem with adaptations and why most of the time i'm not really a fan of them is the pace, however after this last episode and the preview of the next, i'm convinced that this is not going to be a problem, it's really well-paced, there's not a dull moment, they are proceeding fast yet not rushed at all so i'm sold, they are doing an amazing job trying to fit everything without making it crammed, rushed or messy which is not easy at all so props to them.

- Can i say that downgrading the last 3 minutes of episode 7 as just straight-up pron is kinda disrespectful to the art behind it? Like, it was more than just sex for sex's sake, it's an emotionally loaded scene, and if you're not able to catch or unravel all of what entails, well that's a shame because taking everything at face value is not going to work for kp and it's probably going to make you lose all the nuances which are important to have a comprehensive understanding of the characters (ex: people still questioning why porsche is in love with kinn...). Don't get me wrong, it was hot and eye-candy but just like all the other sex scenes in the series, it has a purpose, sex scenes in kinnporsche are plot driven and are keys to the development of their story. My rant has nothing to do with comments i've seen here but a lot of people on twt/tt just talk about that scene as hot and spicy which it is but it's also so much more and mile and apo didn't act their a*s off in that bathroom just to be reduced as pron actors lol (feel free to disagree ahah)

- Before starting i want to clear that i absolutely love porschay and he is a character i'm deeply attached to and i think that barcode was destined to be chay. At the beginning, i was a little bit worried about barcode lack of experience and, since the changes made to porsche's, what the screenwriters were going for his character but after this episode i'm sold, i believe it's really smart what they are doing with the character, chay is this lovely, caring yet very awkward teen with a big fat awkward crush which is why his acting inexperience is working in his favor, the stiffness and awkwardness might due to his inexperience play really well in the characterization of the younger brother so i'm very satisfied. Btw, i'm not saying that he is a bad actor, on the contrary, he is doing an amazing job not to be completely swallowed by jeff who is an experienced actor but also a very caring partner, the best, and i believe that this a great start for his career! With this i'm not going and i don't think it's fair to completely judge him as the weakest of the cast by just these 7 episodes (aka 20 minutes screen time lol) but for now this is the idea i got.

ykw, i can understand and accept everything. Do you hate the plot? Cool. Do you hate the themes and how they are being dealt with? Cool. Do you hate the cinematography and how it's been directed or edited? I know it's a lie but cool. But how the heck can you give the acting a 4.5??? I'm not saying that they are the best actors in this world but let's be real the only thing that deserves the least criticism, if not at all, is the top-notch acting, especially the main leads' because they don't just act as kinn and porsche, they ARE kinn and porsche. Yes, the last review that has been left has triggered me because leaving a mark this bad on the acting is just plain hate and nothing can change my mind :D

As they should, he is some mafia richie rich and the best he could do is bring to porsche (the man he is chasing) 3 sad roses probably plucked from the hospital's garden? Well, that's a new level of being a cheapskate lol

And don't worry about the length, i love reading lol Back to your comment, you have made a lot of great points because tbh, insensitive and dumb as i may sound, i didn't really think about the fact that a lot of people bothered about the sa were in fact victim (or knew someone who was a victim) which does explain why they are obvs and rightfully more bothered about it, so i would say that my thought process behind that question was rather in regards of people like me that thankfully have no real experience of sa which was dumb to even think about that because unfortunately, we live in a sh*tty word were sh*tty things happen to people all the time (but yk it's exams season and i'm in a kinnporsche brain rot so pls understand my lack of deep-thinking ahah)
On a side note, thank god i wasn't the only one bothered by that Alice Oseman comment because while i did kinda see her point, to me the idea itself behind her words felt very judgemental/one-sided/entitled, and kinda outdated even by 2017 standards.
