It's broadcasted on local TV here and can be viewed on the broadcaster's platform. I'm surprised international viewers, particularly those BL fanatics, have not caught on to this with 2 bromance pairings in 12 lengthy episodes.
To those Chinese viewers, isn't Lingnan in Guangdong Province? I expect to hear more Cantonese than one word from the Lin Jurong character. In episode 8, we hear Cantonese opera playing from a radio or tape player. (If only there were a Cantonese dubbed version for this series...)
I think in beginning when Han su hears who is Zhi Nan because of her ex she was angry and a little sad, but later…
@YESMISSA, I appreciate the information. I've been unable to find the web novel and am curious about Gao Peng's fate. If what you've shared is indeed from the novel, it brings me relief. :)
Yes i agree, karma is a bitch. Now SML will go after the girl that ML dumped. The karma that FL will feel, and…
As of episode three, the series primarily revolves around three female leads. The male characters, as well as other female characters, are portrayed as the recipients of their emotions. That's what I see from my lens. :)
I thought we will have straight/proud cheater drama with player FL and not this sorry ass cheaters justifications.…
@DrGhost, I appreciate your point. Considering SML's education "abroad," one might question whether he should have been more assertive and ended the relationship years earlier, rather than indulging her with material gifts and tolerating her tantrums over the phone. It's possible that the screenwriter intended for his character to be excessively dramatic, to the point of forsaking the rationality supposedly gained from his "studies abroad." :D
EP 3I'm glad that Zhi Nan broke up with Gao Peng. That's not a good relationship both are two toxic people that…
@RomanticRosebud_BL, if you're labeling the "new" guy, Qu Yi Peng, as toxic, could you elaborate on why he's deemed "toxic" or, as others have said, a "gold digger" just for befriending a woman at his workplace? Up to episode 3, I haven't seen any behavior that fits those descriptions. I'm quite interested in your viewpoint. :)
Watching preview scenes make me scared and excited whats upon ahead, like why out of nowhere, gao peng came back…
@Haruu, at the end of ep. 3, we were led to believe Gao Peng has realized that He Zhi Nan isn't for him. Hope he gets a much better and mature one. (Watching Zhi Nan tantrum scenes was torture for me).
For a male viewer like me, this series has quite good pacing as I didn't need to fast forward much. I am surprised I like this better than the Chinese remake although the Chinese version has more relevant cultural aspects that resonate with me. But, the Chinese version is too melodramatic for male viewers like me. Does anyone know of a translated novel similar to this?
