@Ivy I also agree that unless one is an avid manga reader, he (or she) won't know that label. Also, I notice that many Korean and Japanese series are adaptations of mangas. I was using it to differentiate it from the BL genre, which most, if not all women audiences, know. And reading postings on this platform, I see a lot of members use manga labels to describe their opinions on series. "Bara" is not represented in this series (so far), but the comraderie between the MLs (and business elements in the story) interest me more than enough to continue watching.

@Ivy I know. It's rare to find Bara-themed series that can sustain commercially. Bromance is highly available but does not get labeled here much. My preference for these is because both have elements of (grounded) reality. So for example, I will settle for bromance,but definitely not BL. Thanks for checking. I was just making an analogy using these terms because it seems many members are familiar with them. (I don't like mangas either). :)

That's interesting.

I check the trailer and try 1-2 episodes to know this is what I enjoy. The genre tags helped a bit, but not tags because I am a fan of the bara or bromance genre. While this is not exactly it, the characters are so interesting that I am watching it.

Didn't know about the previous older versions with Por, but watched a bit with Tua's 1995 version. Impressed that Mew actually sang Thai Country genre in this series!

This is a better collection of short films. Mr. X and I is another older collection of short films based on "real" experiences, and geared toward LGBTQ fans.

Can anyone refer me to a document that lists the cases and their corresponding episodes for this series?

I failed to understand why it might viewed as LGBTQ+ though.

In episode 9, one of the four movie script judges poses a question that creates disagreement among the other 2 judges. Also there is/are LGBT character(s). Last episodes felt rushed. Has uplifting messages. A serious-themed series.

I'll watch it after it finish airing for sure.

Thank you for the case outline of this series. After watching and enjoying "Yin-yang Town Strange Talk," I didn't realize that this also has a similar style of storytelling, but with more details .

Based on how it ends, the duo can continue in another adventure, but S2, hopefully will materialize, won't be in Yin-Yang Town. It'll be in the hometown of Cheng wherever that it.

This is the type of genre I am looking for. Have watched Restart after Come Back Home, and it's also good, though it can also be construed as BL (to satisfy those looking for a BL movie). @akdage, could you recommend others that are Taiwanese, Chinese, and Korean like this, please (if you happen to know them)?

I am searching and waiting for either the Cantonese version or one with English subs, too.

If you like "League of Nobleman", then this is an even faster-paced detection drama in that genre. Except for the overly unbelievable CG scene in episode 1 (to me), it becomes more interesting. I am so grateful to the person recommending this.
