As for the pacing perhaps they needed this relationship for the build up story behind. This drama was 40eps, cut to 38 eps by censorship then CCTV decided to cut another 4 eps. TV drama doesn’t like long eps too many waiting list. This is another one suffers from tons of cuts

Lyx is being used by producers to create a hit and bring the comp $ such as the producer of LIS (3 out of 4 of their projects LYX ML) and Otter 3 out of 3 LYX ML. These 2 are new companies. He relies only fr word of mouth of directors and producers who worked wt him. Without capital agency survival rate in C ent is v low. Leo survived bcs he is so much better than most actor. But u see mediocre actor gets better project than Leo bcs of the background.

I was abt to say among all Leo modern drama this is the best filter. Bcs it’s almost non existent. I can see Leo skin pores and his full emotion. ZRN skin is flawless and she looks absolutely much younger than her age.
