IKR. So many beautiful scenes, strong F characters, no blurry filter - you can see their skin. Real scenery (except for that little CGI blunder everything looks so beautiful)
Done till ep 8, my takes so far I have no idea YJY story, an original IP with Face blind and transformation right from K drama. A few things that I really enjoy are
1. Impressed with the cinematography since A Dream of Splendor in ’22. So many beautiful scenes: 1st scenes of ML, the wedding, the ghost market and more, thumbs up for the director. Seeing this in 4K big screen is a joy 2. Strong Female Characters, witty and independent female characters. So far, no whinny, clingy, weak ones. 3. It’s rare to find costume dramas where 90% of the actors, including guests and support roles, aren’t dubbed. I’m a big believer that Actor must have the ability to do good original voice. 4. Acting Quality: no “green acting” so far (hope the 3rd FL and ML acting will be passable) 5. I really enjoy the comedy scenes and more to come from BTS & other previews. 6. The fight scenes are cool, and LYX’s clean performance stands out. I love it when actor is not using too much double for their fight scenes. He is awesome 7. Shut out to Song Yi in bringing her character to life naturally. I feel this is her best acting so far. I’ve seen too many forced trying to be cute acting. 8. LYX, what can I say. His name is 1000% guarantee of good acting and a full character creation. I enjoy watching his micro expressions. I get it from TTOETM to here, his role might be relatively too easy for him. But imagine a face blind character in the hand of mediocre actor would be a disaster.
What can be better: 1. CGI def not on par wt. the other beautiful scenes, this baffles me. 2. The initial episodes are not fast pacing enough, but since ep 5 the rhythm is good. More character comes to the scenes. I have a feeling I’m going to enjoy the interactions between ML and 2ML also with his over confident sister Chen Yao.
it refers to the number of pp/account watching this drama online at the same time. i only know 9000 heat index means 500K pp watching. not sure what 8000 is. but the goal is usually 10000 heat index

hmm someone said the contract just signed 30 min bfr airing. annoucement 10 min only. even LYX team didn’t have time to re act and release count down. 🥝this yr is pretty mess up.

Most supporting actors also original voice. Leo we know he is v good and Song Yi also not dubbed in many of her dramas. It’s easy to see who has good lines. If actor dubbed themselves in costume drama prior to C reg required actor to pay their own VA, means among producer/insider they r good or at least good enough.
LYX is getting better with each drama, and again never a trace of this previous character, especially his micro expressions & expressive eyes. His fight scenes are v clean & smooth, its a joy to watch his fighting scenes and BTS.
Song Yi is v natural in her character portrayal so far, better than my expectation (I watched some of her dramas). I’m satisfied so far. They both r very cute together.
So far: Funny, beautiful cinematography and lighting here. a drama with strong actors and original voice.
She is the sister. But this drama is original IP not based on novel. So no one knows the full storyline. It's useless to ask anyone if there is any love triangle. But looks like no. This is a comedy drama.
Why iqiyi release this suddenly? Shouldnt they release the premier date first to get the hype? I reserved this…
Qiyi was waiting for last certificate sign to be able to put FYH on their drama recommendation page (new rules fr June last year). Usually on Friday, so this airs immediately after they got the approval. They have no drama aft Fox MM VIP ended.
