TTEOTM is the ONLY C drama that I watched without FF at all. It's v beautiful, very fast pace, can be confusing at times bcs plot is v fast. mains strength of this drama is LYX acting, He played 3 diff characters, 3 different Demon Gods and 8 personalities with ease. CGI is the best ever seen in C drama rivaling Hollywood in some cases. Also the most beautiful costume ever done till today in C drama.

Pay mktg fee with Baidu, BiliBili etc. Strong Social Media presence. This usually started before the drama airs. But here, I saw 2 low ranking trending that gone in 30 min. I saw LYX agency bought 1 for LYX and Chen Yao briefly low ranking in the middle of the night (cheap ones LOL). Strong artist agency will buy 3-20 High ranking every day. For Youku they adv on billboard. Other platform not so much. This drama air first before final trailer drop. But All LYX drama is pretty much like this, little marketing.

Yes, it is Chen Yao own voice. FYI, every year wt hundreds of costume drama out, maybe not even 1 where all casts including guests and support actors dubbed themselves. Here we only have 2 VA. 1 is for Hongkong actress bcs she can't speak mandarin properly, another I forgot. Actually I haven't recalled any drama like this in the past 2-3 years.
