Not sure why it's not mentioned in the synopsis but I checked the movie's website and found out Nobuyuki and Tasuku have the same last name, I wonder if they're related, like brothers or perhaps cousins? Also this is based on a Shion Miura's novel (same author with Wood Job!, The Great Passage) plus Arata and Eita in the cast so I'm definitely gonna watch it.
it got quite... cheesy at some parts, but it's a romantic drama after all so i guess it's fine. and i think the drama was made to be predictable on purpose, i bet many of the viewers can guess "it" right after 4 or 5 episodes in, especially with Saito Takumi's acting and his narration, it was easy to tell. there's also a few small twists which make it interesting enough. the drama as a whole was a very good watch, the last few episodes got me crying like a baby.
so does this mean Rikako and Osamu are not gonna have another ending other than the one in the drama? that's just sad :( that couple was so passionate towards each other. i hope the sequel movie will mention them.

it's like Lolita with a mix of Stoker (2013), except that My Man took everything to another level.
