Exactly. I can understand that some viewers are attached to the original couple. Others may not like her as an actress. It happens. But it's not her fault that Jo Bo Ah decided not to appear in the other seasons. Jo Bo Ah`s character is the fated first love . Nobody is taking that.
I don`t understand why they decided to make another seasons either (I read that the story is finished satisfactory and the drama was not that good) but that`s it.
It is logically to bring something new to the story. A new villain, a new love story, another development in brother`s relationship.OK. A great first love is only one but don`t tell me that he can`t have in hundreds of years of life a new emotional conection. Maybe So Yeon`s role is a gumiho who will challenge the brothers. Yeah, we don`t know what role she will play.

Damsel in distress is not what I want to see her play. I agree with you on that. Let`s hope the writer knows that she looks the best when she plays strong characters. I wished to see her play in a drama with Japanese colonial set up. She played in movie Gabi but it was not enough for me. But I did not want to be this drama. Because of the supernatural powers of the male lead, it is obvious that he will get opportunities to show those powers, and they tend to make the female needing protection but they could still make a good role for her. Perhaps she will play a gumiho or an antiheroine. We don`t know anything about the role yet. I still want her to decline this drama but whatever will be will be.

Why she is not suited for the role? You don`t even know what kind of role they have offered her. I really really want her to decline this offer but not because she is not suited for the role. She will do just fine if the script is good. Reading about underwhelming reviews for the first season, I really doubt it could be any better. Plus, I am not fan of reincarnation or gumiho or other fantastic creatures plot devices. But If she will accept the role I will suport her.

I hope she has other drama projects and she will choose the better one.

It looks like So Yeon has another drama offer. She was offered a lead role in `Tale of the Nine-Tailed` season 2. Well, I like the cast and the colonial period setting but I don`t like reincarnation or gumiho thing. Plus, I read underwelming reviews for the first season as well.

I looked up. The age is not that big, 4 years, just like her lastest on screen partner Yoon Jong-Hoon.

It is not my kind of drama. I tried because of So yeon but I could not continue. I am glad that she was in a succesful rating show and I hope there will be more oportunities for her in the future.

Is true that all the major characters died? I like this ending. I was hoping this ending and I can`t believe that Kim Sun Ok make my wish become true. LOL.
All the cast did well, especially Kim So yeon and Uhm Ki Joon, but I hope they will do better projects in the future. I hope to not see So yeon in another crazy makjang drama ever again.

He is very good as both villain or good guy. I wish he will be in this drama but we`ll see. Curently he plays a good character in Hospital Playlist. The last time I saw him as a bad guy was in `Chief of Staff` in 2019.

Lee Mi Yeon`s offer was for the role Geum-joo, the queen of a club that manages the secrets and assets of Korean VVIPs. That means there is another female lead, the psychiatrist who becomes the daughter-in-law of a conglomerate.

So Yeon does both good and bad girl very well. After the memorable and over dramatic Seo Jin she needs something very different.
I love both Kim Nam Gil and Gong Yoo so I totally agree. I really want her to meet Gong Yoo in a drama. They had a photoshoot 20 years ago or more, when both were so young. It will be nice if they met for a project after so many years.

Yeah, it is a good idea but I don`t necessarily want her to be paired with him in a drama. I just want to see So yeon in a good drama that I can enjoy watching. No more crazy makjang telenovela dramas for her. I want her in a serious project.

I was surprised to see that they cast Im Soo Hyang in this drama because she was supposed to play in the drama with Sung Hoon. Probably she will do both or she has declined the other offer.
