Another shock value or laughable matter it is a mistake from the production.
In the DNA paper Su Ryun gave Yoon Hee it says that she has the cromozome of a man. Oh Yoon-hee's chromosome is marked as XY. Maybe it is a mistake or it was a lie that her DNA was found on Seol Ah.

Too many plot holes.

LOL. Weak plot. I did not know every detail because I am not watching every scenes but I think the whole adoption storyline and about her poor treatment in the rich family were bogus. Not convincing IMO. It is the excuse to link a rich man with Seol ah. It has to be someone who has a motive to hate Jo Dan tae and the others. I read that in the original script (the role was modified after Ha seok Jin refused the role), Logan Lee came to Korea to revenge his parents`s murder.

It came to my mind another question. How Seol Ah knew who her mother was? I watched the first 4 episodes and if I remember corectly, Jo Dan tae secretary abandoned her after they switched the babies.

Is it your assumption or it was explained in the show? It doesn`t matter if someone drugged her to make her look like in a coma. Her mother did not know she was drugged, she did not raise her. It is even worst if she was drugged for so long. The first years for child development are so important. But everyone is right. The logic and common sense are out of the window in this show. In season 2 this child will enter Cheon A high school and became another opera singer. LOL

I have a curiosity. How this crazy makjang show explained how a child who was in a coma for 16 years (all her life) can speak ?

Yes, there will be a second season of another 20 episodes.

No, everyone was in the party (Seo Jin, Joon Dan Tae and the other rich people). Only Oh Yoon Hee was not there. But she did not killed MIn Seol A. She saw who did it but she won`t tell. She will get money instead. If they did not changed the time (to make the rich adults suspects, then one of the kids push her or Joo Dan tae`s right man). The second season will be Shin Su Ryun`s revenge, I guess.

It looks like she is the tutor, Min Seol Ah. But i am not sure.

I dont `t think Lee Ji ah will be a villainess. In the character charts that we saw unofficially, Lee Ji ah and Eugene`s character are friends. Seo Jin (Kim So yeon) will be against both of them, especially against Eugene.
I will make an assumption. Shim Soo Ryun (lee Ji Ah) is the rich woman who will give the protagonists money to enter the high society.

They already start filming a long time ago but now they made an official confirmation. Finally. I hope Kim Sun Ok gave this talented cast a good script. Fingers crossed.

For the makjang tag, maybe they thought it won`t be makjang. LOL. I don`t think this writer can write anything that it is not makjang. LOL.

No, the description is for Eugene`s character. She is the main protagonist and she will play the good girl but she will enter the world of rich people and she will make some mistakes/questionable choices. So Yeon`s character is the villainess of the story who hates Eugene`s character and she will do everything to see her out of her way. When the synopsis tells that the heroine will become a "monster", probably intended to say that the heroine won`t recognize herself anymore (unlike the innocent person she was before being rich) but she will have a chance to redeem herself. There will be a reward for her in the end. There is a Prince Charming for her, the professor who in reality is a very rich man.

Golden Empire as Empire of Gold (2013)? I loved the drama and the writing so I will be glad if Penthouse we`ll be like that drama. I am afraid Kim Soon Ok`s style is nothing like Park Kyung Soo`s so I don`t think we`ll be a similar drama. But we shall see.

It is airing in October but they have start filming already. All three original male leads decided not to appear. Today there is a confirmation that Ha seok Jin accepted the role for MBC drama. I doubt that he will film for Penthouse too. I do not understand why they don`t announce a proper confirmation for the three female leads. They mentioned barely in another cast news (supporting cast).

The shooting for this drama has started. The script has an English title for this drama: "War In Life".
