Episode 56, tears, tears and more tears.

I still cannot comprehend the action that Xiao Qirong takes - killing himself. He has not known Dong Ruoxuan that long or that well at all. How can he be in so much pain that he needs to take his own life? I get it when people kill themselves, normally with no explanation. I know he also wants to make Xiao Qiyuan and Dong Ruoxuan to feel guilty for the rest of their lives. Still, he's pretty, ...... sigh! I guess the writers want to punish his mother Qiao Hui Fei for all the evil things she has done. So far, for all these years, she has escaped unscathed. So, it's pay back time for her. Satisfying!

I think he's already been type-casted. Look at his last few projects, they're all of similar painful/miserable characters. I think Cheng Yi does carry an air of melancholy with him. Even with him as a playful youth in this drama, he still gives us that melancholy feeling. He's already passed 30 years old now. Not many choices he will get if he's too selective :(

Oh boy! Cheng Yi has to find a better (happier) character to play. I don't want to see him vomit blood or his heart cut into pieces again.

I think Zhen'er sympathizes with Qihan but not enough to love him. Qihan and Chengxu are nemesis. If she were to accept Qihan, that means she may have to come against Chengxu and Mingyu, which she would never do. She is very very smart, far smarter than Qihan.

For me, Mingyu and Xiao Qiyuan have redeemed themselves. Now, Xiao Chengxu is immortal. He finally maintains his dignity. Helan Mingyu's pain can be felt, and yet has to be hidden. I even forgive Xiao Qiyuan and Xiao Qirong. They seem to be a lovely pair of brothers. And I cannot believe now I find the uncontrollable personality of Xiao Qiyuan and his eye rolls adorable. What an incredible performance by the cast. Two thumbs up!

Episode 50 is my favorite episode, and it's also the saddest episode. I cried a river. Funny enough, the knots in my heart since the beginning of this drama have all gone.

Yes, it does seem to rain a lot in China. Many dramas have rain scenes consistently.

Why is it raining in almost every episode?

He has 2 names: Lin Fang is formal (everyone knows him by this name), Lin Wenxuan is informal (only known by closest people like Xia Hou Ying). The "wen" in Wenxuan is not a surname as the "wen" in Wen You; they are written differently in Chinese characters. They are homophones but have different tones.

I'm afraid you may be pissed soon :) From the look of it, Du Lei may finally fall in love with her if she changes because for years, she's been taking care of him and he's grateful. This would be a plausible ending for them, well, at least, he gets someone who truly loves him.

Yeah, their apartments are across from each other's at the entrance, but their balconies are next to each other. I've been trying to figure out the floor layout of the building. I gave up. Guess we just have to take whatever the drama gives us without thinking too much.

I like bright smiles too, but in appropriate scenario I guess especially if one's acting. Her bright smiles come across with mixed messages.

If you love cute romance, yep! It's easy watch and endearing.
