Title Love and Redemption Spoiler
(About character Yuan Lang / Aka Deputy master ):In fact, the first trailer (before the series started) always…
Though Yuan Lang is despicable, I quite like his character in the beginning. His dialogues are very funny.

wait why did I watch 40 episodes and some people are seeing 46 episodes?
The overall content is the same, just different cut, ie. 40 episodes have longer episodes, and 46 episodes are shorter.

Cheng Yi's character in this drama is so cute! I really like seeing this more youthful side to him, someone who…
I have only watched episode 1 and I'm already in love with the Xiao Cheng Xu (Cheng Yi) character. I think all the Cheng Yi fans are going to go crazy here if this baby is going through heart-breaking pain again, and as you said, he's already going through it in episode 4. Dang! My heart has already started crying!

Crying scenes? OMG! Hasn't he cried enough in L&R? Dang! He's going to give us another heartache.

Title Go Ahead Spoiler
After re-watching this drama, I still have some questions regarding their age difference. What is the actual age…
LJJ was 5 years old in episode 1 when LQ moved to their apartment. Therefore, LQ is 2 years older than JJ. HZQ is same age as LQ but a few months younger (it was mentioned) therefore they attend the same grade in high school.

There's a lapse of time between LQ's mother brought Little Orange to see LQ the first time, and LQ moves to live in Singapore. So by the time she returns to China the second time, Little Orange is having her school break and she has one more year to go before she enters college. So I guess she's about 17.

Title Go Ahead
I'm half way through and I love it. However, I have to say I have a hard time not comparing Weilong and steven's…
As much as I love SWL, like you say here, I do too find he has his good and not so good moments in this drama. There are instances he really conveys those look and feelings to the audience, but in others, I'm also rather confused by his body language. ZXC does express himself well. When we look at the BTS, there's really a stark difference between these two actors - SWL is quiet and expressionless, whereas ZXC is curious and playful and does all kinds of stuff. Therefore, I believe as it is, maybe SWL is pretty limited to certain roles in certain dramas, and ZXC has a wider character choice.

I gotta rate this a 9.5 because they really tried to make suicide LX's mother's redemption arc. Suddenly she knows…
You've laid out your points so well, and that's exactly how I've felt about Chen Ting's and the others' conclusion too - too easy, just brush everything under the carpet and all-is-well kind of conclusion.

After her 2nd attempted suicide, somehow, Ling Xiao is completely healed from his previous shadow. Yes, like you, I do feel that there are really a few loose ends they haven't completely tightened up. Since the whole drama overall has brought a lot of tears and joy for me in the process, I decide not to penalize them on the loose ends here.

I have one more question about a meaning about a scene. Remember when LX was packing up his books after high school.…
The center of the water melon is the best part of the water melon and is JJ's favorite. She always digs in from the center. She gives her favorite bite to Ling Xiao. Maybe the writers are trying to show she values him and wants the best for him, and he rejects it, out of guilt?

Many still tries to hold on to the Sifeng image I guess. They fear the uncle image destroys everything. I just watched the 1st episode, Cheng Yi looks great here. The character is more active than passive as in L&R. He's badass and I like that. I just hope he doesn't vomit as much blood as he did :D

61 episodes? Not again! I hope this doesn't make us chase like L&R.
I have just watched the first episode. It's good. If you're into palace politics, inter-kingdom conflicts, espionage etc, you'd like it. Cheng Yi's character here is good, very smart and badass. Whether it's a tragic/sad ending or not should not be used as a standard to judge this drama.
