I would have prefered Cheng Yi been little playboy type or atleast enjoying other girls company or having a relationship…
I think in most romances, one of the draws is how each devote to the other, no matter what, in death or otherwise. That's how the stories can draw tears and heartbreak from viewers. So in this case, to portray Xiao Cheng Xu as a hero and is devoted to one only, I'm afraid he has to be single even when his love marries.
This is the most relatable drama i’ve ever watched. I’m in the similar position with Ling Xiao, my mother…
Wow! I'm so sorry. I've always felt that Chen Ting is a very real person because I've seen many fathers/mothers like that, despite everyone hates her character. I hope you walk out from your darkness and be happy. Enjoy life. It's very short.
Which episode are you up to now? Are you watching the Director's cut version?
I know, it took me months to get out from the sadness, but I've enjoyed it so much. We hated Li Cheng Yin too. Read our discussions here on this character:
She's really good and endearing in this type of character that it's hard to hate her. I don't usually watch Chinese…
Not only bubbly, also dumb XD. She has that look that realizes she's been had a few seconds later. She would go to the lowest of the low to beg. That makes her endearing :D
I think i understand why some people don't like this drama. If they read the book, some part of the story are…
Ahhh! Yes, what you say make a lot of sense. When a popular novel is adapted to a drama, the readers really dislike it when the scriptwriters change the story because often such changes really mess up the story and make it illogical with plot holes. As in this case, I think they mess up the Ju Lin Er character, among others.
