Could you guys explain me more about SF's parents? His mom committed suicide? What did his Dad do? I skipped some…
I just finished episode 39. It seems there are 2 versions of her death. According to Sifeng's father, her original sect captures her, interrogates her for his (Sifeng's father's) where about and tries to eliminate the Bird race. She takes her life to protect Sifeng's father. But according to the deputy sect leader, that's not the case; she takes her own life after finding out that her lover is a demon from the bird race and she's ashamed. As it is, I don't know which version is correct.
I understand that all the sufferings Sifeng is going through right now is a buildup for the final catharsis, but this buildup of pain is taking more than 40 episodes, and it's getting really unbearable. Poor Sifeng!
I feel like the online version would just be 36 or 38 at most... Because the TV version is really short. And it's…
OMG! That clip is so funny. The look on Li Ba's face, and Ziqiu unmoved expression! Exquisite! It's going to be another fun watch. Can't wait! Thank you so much.
I'm 99% positive that no one has been dubbed, and that all the dialogue was recorded on the spot during filming!!
I watched the BTS and you're right. Everything sounds exactly like how it is on the spot during filming. Now I know how Song Weilong's voice sounds like :)
I really enjoyed this last ep (TV version ep 31). The dialogue between LX's dad and the doctor really shows how…
Wow! This is exactly how I feel about Chinese/Asian parents - wealth, prestige, career, marriage, kids come first. Many children are being pushed to the breaking point to achieve all these superficial expectations of the parents. So many go into depression, anxiety and even death. Some I meet here in the US are so burnt out and don't seem to be able to free themselves because they feel guilty if they don't comply to their parents. Those who are able to come to terms with themselves usually deviate from their parents' expectations and may become a shame to the family in front of friends and relatives. It's so sad how things have evolved to this point.
This drama shows another perspective in nurturing children, the Li Ba way which is not result oriented but the well-being of the children being the center of education. I really love to see such attitude in parenting as an exemplar.
I’m new here can you give me some spoilers about Sifeng? ty
Yu Sifeng is a son of a human mother and Golden Phoenix race which disguises as a cultivator sect wearing masks, and he's the top disciple of the sect and his natural father is the sect leader (he doesn't know about this fact). Their masks are never to be removed but somehow Yu Sifeng's mask is removed by Chu Xuanji. This is their 10th life meeting each other. For his past 9 lives, Yu Sifeng has been devoted to Chu Xuanji but dies under her who doesn't even know of his love and devotion. In this tenth life, she finally falls in love with him but now he's a Golden Bird devil that the cultivation sects are trying to kill. Their love story and romance are beautiful and heart wrenching. All the viewers' hearts go out to Sifeng because of his sufferings and undying devotion to Chu Xuanji.
I dont think ZQ really have that kind of love to jianjian, it is obvious that ZQ loves jianjian as his little…
Don't worry. Ziqiu is strong and has a very positive attitude that would get him through everything. He'll find his true love. Just waiting for that spark :D
So I'm a major Steven Zhang fan but I avoid heartbreaking/sad shows like the plague and this one looks like it's…
Definitely must watch, especially if you're a Steven's fan. Though he doesn't get the girl whom he thinks he want, he will get his true love eventually. He's a very lovable character in this drama. Very genuine and strong. Don't worry about the heartaches he is going through. He'll make it and come out stronger. He's been nurtured with great values by the foster father.
JJ posted it herself anonymously. She basically posted her whole life story thinking that maybe someone could…
It was an anonymous letter she wrote to one of those sites that advice people of their problems. She's never expected that she could be identified that easily. Perhaps she also provided too many details such as her father owning a noodle shop etc.

Enjoy!
