Imagine how the brothers' live would've been if they haven't spent a wonderful childhood with JJ? That memory…
Ziqiu is very strong despite all the pain he has endured. He adopts the wisdom Li Ba teaches him years ago: Everything is a blessing in disguise. How wise.
The preview for tomorrow made me cry. I'm sad that some people are still bashing LX's character :(
Oh no, I don't dare to watch the preview. I have an uneasy feeling for Ling Xiao. When I listen to the OST Fearless, it sounds as if it's sung by Ling Xiao (almost like his dubbed voice), all his despairs and agony. Every time I look at Ling Xiao and listen to the song with lyrics, I'd cry a river.
At this point, don't think it'll go that way. Mingyue and Ziqiu have been set since high school. Furthermore, I feel Mingyue is more suitable for Ziqiu because Tan Can is too silly (the cute sort of silly) like Ling Xiao says, "simple minded". Ziqiu in a way is simple minded too (Ling Xiao has also commented). So 2 simple minded people together is going to be a disaster. It's better to be balanced out a bit :)
I'm going to be honest, I have a hard time summoning up a lot of sympathy for MY. When she brought that manga…
I feel Mingyue does it to spur Jianjian to be open so that Ziqiu not continue kept in the dark. It's better to be sooner than later, what do you think?
It feels really weird to hear JianJian call her boyfriend as brother...... really really pukish.....brother is…
Chinese has almost every familial relationship which Western culture lacks. For example, in Western culture, the terms auntie and uncle include all the siblings of one's parents' on both sides. Chinese has a unique distinction for every person, including the auntie's or uncle's spouses. This applies to brother/sister, older or younger, cousins with different or same last names etc. I love the Chinese way in identifying all these relationship without having further explanation how each person is related to you.
Having said that, Chinese also address almost everyone one interacts as a relative as in auntie, uncle, grandmother, grandfather etc. Therefore in this drama, we see in the neighborhood of Jianjian, everyone is an auntie or an uncle, old people are grandma or grandpa. Naturally older boys become gege.
Yes. Asian society deals with familial harmony so much.... Everything must be known and everyone must have their…
So true. They tend to select 'good for you' (ie. steady income) and 'good for the family' (ie. prestige etc) over passion. Admittedly passion may not last, but at least that little excitement I feel is very precious. Otherwise life is too boring :)
Anyway, it's evident that Li JianJian wanted Ling Xiao ever since she laid her eyes on him in that moving truck.
Yep! It's almost like love at first sight for Jianjian. How she has treated Ziqiu is so different - she bites him. If not because Ziqiu has helped Ling Xiao fight off the bullies, I don't think Jianjian would have taken him in so soon.
The spark is about to start between Mingyue and Ziqiu. Zhuang Bei is about to get his own medicine from Mingyue. This is going to be a fun watch, as long as nothing bad happens to the trio :D
Though young people these days are fairly independent in the selection of partners, many still place factors of parental approval in their choices. So sad.
