Jeez! I'm watching this, and 4-5 others, all airing. I need more than 48 hours a day.
Hehehe! Furthermore I find watching these dramas while airing even more fun and addictive because I can find people like you to chat with, sharing our fun and frustrations :D
Okay.....can you spoil me what happens at the end of episode 30?
If you like Song Wei Long, have you watched In A Class of Her Own? It's a fun watch too. I'm in love with Song Wei Long despite what others say of him :D
I can understand people be uncomfortable, however they really have no blood relationship. It's interesting because…
Yes, I love what you're saying. So true.
For me, I've always felt the romance from the beginning, from how Ling Xiao looks at Jianjian when they were teenagers, just as he said he has fallen in love romantically when they're in high school. How he has treated her so tenderly, though firm (because Jianjian is still so immature), fearing of breaking her, coming to her rescue in the first instant while Ziqiu is still fighting with her. Whenever Jianjian comes into the room, he beams up. Although Jianjian calls Ling Xiao 'Ge', he's the only one she waits up for and jumps on clinging to like a koala bear. We don't see her doing this to Ziqiu. Subconsciously, she loves Ling Xiao romantically but she's too immature to understand what it is. 9 years later, she's aware now and she feels uncomfortable with them because only boyfriend/girlfriend cling on to each other like this, not brother and sister. She gets a boyfriend for exactly this reason: she doesn't want the brothers to be too closed to her anymore, perhaps for fearing falling in love with them or they fall in love with her.
It's funny that no one talks about chemistry, not in this discussion nor in the drama. Some people here feel if Jianjian has to choose, she should choose Ziqiu simply because we sympathize more with Ziqiu for the things we can see, despite if she has any chemistry with him. In the drama, Ziqiu is disappointed that why Jianjian chooses Ling Xiao instead of him. No one ever questions there's no chemistry between them. Perhaps people always feel chemistry not an important component when it comes to marriage, as couples can always develop their relationship after marriages. But it is this chemistry that starts the relationship in the first place.
"How could no one have noticed you got sick?" LJJ to LX aka the most heartbreaking thing I heard in the preview…
You've touched everything I've wanted to say about their relationships. Jianjian and Ling Xiao have a very special relationship even from the very beginning. With Ziqiu, it's only platonic even they may have shared the same bed.
Oh no, I don't dare to watch the preview. I have an uneasy feeling for Ling Xiao. When I listen to the OST Fearless,…
Yeah, the song Fearless is like a voice from his heart - so sad yet so beautiful. I have the 3 songs played non-stop everyday too. The song I Will Stay Here applies to every parent for their children, but in this case, it speaks a million words of what Li Ba is trying to say to Ziqiu. Ziqiu is the only one who wants to continue to hold on to the family and Li Ba is telling him to let go. Man, it touches every single nerve I have on my body. Haven't figured out which perspective Rain is being written. What do you think?
I agree. LJJ brought light into LX's life. I feel like LX has nothing but LJJ. On the other hand, you can tell…
These two characters are so different. Ziqiu was abandoned, but picked up by Li Ba who loves and nurtures him. He is strong and recovers better. On the other hand, Ling Xiao is very sensitive and has the tendency to overthink things, and has never recovered from losing his little sister and his mother's abandonment. On top of that, he went through 9 years of mental torture. But his medicine is pretty simple: Jianjian. Whenever Jianjian is in the room, he beams. That tells so much how much he needs her.
Ziqiu wants Jianjian just so that he can maintain the household intact, as always been; no one gets married away. It's repeatedly showing us that Ziqiu doesn't have any romantic feelings for Jianjian. When she asks him to kiss her, he says, "Are you out of your mine?" (or something to that effect).
