It so confusing. I haven't seen Mo Huan does anything horrible to anyone except those that deserve it, but everyone calls her a monster and vows to kill her. Are they trying to portray how herd mentality works? People just follow without questioning, including Nalan Yue? Lin Ruo Han has a confusing relationship with Mo Huan - on one hand, she hates her, on the other, she obeys her. And with Mo Huan, despite Lin Ruo Han's betrayal, she still 'cares' for her. All this confusion has not been cleared even after Lin Ruo Han's death. Is it supposed to be a mystery, or is it bad writing? I'm so confused.

Is it just me or is the storyline all confusing? Characters appear and disappear without any reasons. And the…
I'm like you, confused with how I should feel when watching the characters. Just need to plow on without questioning the plot too much. From a bird's eye view, it (the plot) is not that complicated, but the execution of it is confusing.
Drinking on roof top with her brothers, something ominous is about to happen. If anyone of the Shen family is injured or dead, I'm going to strangle the writer.
Yep! The dumbest rom-com crap gets subs as soon as two episodes are out, but the great ones, the rare gems, seem…
To be fair, modern day rom-coms are easier to translate as compared to historical dramas. The use of sentences and words are totally different. One needs to have pretty decent command of the language to do a good job.
