I have a few questions. From what I've seen so far the episodes are a flashback. 1. What episode do they go back…
Bromance/romance or BL, we had an animated discussion here on this page when the drama was airing. Viewers who have read the novel said it's a bromance; viewers who have not (like myself) read the story, felt it's a soulmate relationship. For a BL, this drama definitely doesn't have the man/man kissing and hugging scenes. For a bromance, it definitely has more than that by just how each looks at the other wordless.
In my first viewing, like you, I felt it was a soulmate relationship and tried to inform new viewers as such because many people skipped it as they didn't want to watch intimate gay scenes. However, I re-watched the drama multiple times, each time I picked up a hint which I missed in my first viewing. At my umpteenth time, I realized it's a BL (yeah, it took me that long, showing how subtle the BL elements are).
At this point, I feel it really doesn't matter whether it's a BL or bromance. It's all up to us how we want to interpret it. Nonetheless, this drama has the depth and is an amazing piece of work. A MUST-WATCH!
I was glad that Xue Zhi didn't see the assault which could lead to more misunderstandings. Feng Zi needs to stop…
"Comparing ages, Feng Zi is only 15 and Xue Zhi is only 17 but the differences between the two is very big." - Absolutely true. Feng Zi has been treated and served as a "da xiao jie (little mistress) at home whereas Xuezhi is groomed to be the future leader of Chong Huo Gong. Of course, there's a huge difference in their maturity and sense of responsibility :)

Feng Zi is only 15 so can't really blame her for being gullible. After all her shifu is her most trusted person; she's like a mother to her. Though the drama shows Feng Zi as an adult, I try to visualize her as a little girl who is infatuated with a mature man, then I'm less put off by what she does.
Not just rude, it's utterly disgraceful. But then, at this time, she's only 15, so yeah, she's easily manipulated by a person she trusts so much, so it's just a sigh from me.
At least that involves two people, which would be a big upgrade from where I am... the ML is just talking about…
I had felt they stretched the love conversations for too many episodes, but I can understand this. Apart from the build-up to their inseparable relationship later on, the producers also want to make sure that they have enough materials to cover 50 episodes. I breathe a sigh of relief now that I'm over all those love conversations (hopefully) and looking forward to getting back to the actual plot - ie. the attempt decimation of Chong Huo Gong and Chong Xuezi.
I just want them to make up and be in love again. I only watched this 2 episodes so next week will be a new chapter…
Yep! Next week will be exciting, hopefully all the love affairs are out of the way. Now they can stay glued to each other and Tou has had his power back. Want to watch them combat the devious people together hand in hand.
They both were drunk and slept on the same bed. But apparently nothing happened between them. Somehow, Fengzi…
Yeah, but not before the agonizing scene of her embracing Tou from the back and he can't move, not much different from a man grabbing a woman without her consent.
Yes, I love romances. I love couples pouring their hearts out for each other, and I love devotion. But it doesn't need to go episodes after episodes just talking about love and their uncertainties etc. And the love talks are not only for the main couple, it involves other couples too. I yawn so much here. I still love this series. I love watching Luo Yunxi; he's like an immortal, bursting with "xian qi (仙气)". His visual is stunning - waving his fan as if it's part of him. Beautiful!
Is feng zhi is same age of SGT? That 'accident' is happen when SGT was 17 , right? Then if i'm not mistaken when…
It was Fengzi who insists Tou to drink the alcohol. I think her age at 10 may not be inappropriate because this shows why the adults are so angry at Tou because they think he's a pervert, raping a little girl.
